Automatic Paper Towel Dispenser – No Cross Contamination

This is nice!  With an Innovia Automatic Paper Towel Dispenser you don’t need to touch the roll with your hands!  That’s awesome! I hate when you need a paper towel, but you’ve touched something that you don’t want to get on the roll.  OR when one of the kids is covered in something and they grab the roll – it’s all messy!  This completely eliminates the problem!

It’s also a beautiful design and comes in colors to match any kitchen!  I chose silver to match my kitchen decor!

It also comes in Red, Black and White!  It came with instructions and a template so you know where to put the screws.  It was pretty easy to install and just in case you have fascia board it comes with posts to help the dispenser fit correctly. I don’t have facia (decorative paneling attached to the bottom of my cabinet.)  You can use batteries or plug it in the wall.  I plugged mine in so I don’t need to mess with changing out batteries.  You can see it is plugged in behind it, but the wires are hidden so it looks good.

It fits any paper towels, even Select-A-Size

I mean it!  That’s what is so cool about it!  It has a sensor that knows how much paper towel to release! Sometimes I use the smaller select-a-size paper towels and it even knows how much length to distribute! This is how you do it:

After you install it open it up.

Put in the paper towels and let some of it hang over the edge.  Then close it.

You get a green light and it spits out some paper towel – more than you need to start.  Just pull it off the section you want.  It retracts it and has a sensor that now knows how much you need each time.  From there on it spits out the exact size you need!

When you want a paper towel just wave your hand in front of the sensor and it comes out!

It retracts the paper towels you don’t need!!

If you don’t need it (like kids playing around) it just retracts it back in!  Actually I played with a few times just to watch it come out and then retract back in!  It’s kind of fun!  If you need more paper towel just keep your hand in front of the sensor and it will spit out up to five sheets (or retract them.)  One thing that I did find out. If you play with it and have it spit out five sheets and retract it (and do it again and again) after a while you need to open the dispenser and roll it back on.  This is not likely to happen, except if you get too excited (like my family) and play with it all day.

Once we got it “out of our system” to play with it all the time we never had a problem.  I was worried that if I walked by the dispenser it would sense me and let down a papertowel, but it doesn’t.  You have to get a few inches away to get the sensor to work.
