We have one last post to inspire you to "think outside of the card". Two of are amazing and talented design team members  created an alterable item and goodie treat box. Check 'em out!

Tiff not only created a beautiful card but she made an accompanying flower arrangement as well. I'm loving how she outlined the edges of the circles with the stickles.

Danni created two stunning treat holders with delicious candy to boot. I'm lovin' how she layered the butterflies and adhered them to the hearts.

Supplies Needed:

• 4 ¼ X 5 ½ card base (cream)
• patterned papers (Basic grey truly, Heartbreaker, Butterfly) Script paper
• burgundy flower
• ric rac ribbon
• pink button
• pink rhinestones
• Dots Embossing folder
• Distress ink (tea dye)

Step 1:  Lightly applying distress ink along edge of card base.  Cut patterned paper to 4 X 5 ¼ then emboss with dots embossing folder.  Attach to card base.

Step 2: Cut pink patterned paper to 3 1/8 X 4 14/16 and cut script paper to 3 X 4 ¾.  Adhere script paper to pink paper and attach You and Me sticker to left side.  Next tie ric rac ribbon around papers. 

Step 3: Cut out 2 hearts from heartbreaker paper.  Attach hearts next to the sticker.  Attach to card base.

Step 4: Attach your burgundy flower embellishment with pink button in the center of flower and 3 rhinestones to the upper left side of sticker.

I am a mom of 2 active boys and have been married to my supportive hubby for 13 years. Art has been a part of my life as long as I can remember. I have been paper crafting for about 12 years. 

2. Where do you find your inspiration?

I find inspiration everywhere. Mostly my boys and from trends I see around me. 

3. What is your favorite dessert?

mmmm....dessert. If I had to pick a favorite it would be Texas sheet cake. 

4. If you could do anything without any consequences, what would it be?

This is a tough question. I think it would be fun to go on a shopping spree where I could buy anything without the consequence of spending the money. 

5. Three words that best describe your personality.

Fall 2011 Kits will go on sale on Thursday, September 29th at 6pm/9pm PT. Mark your calendars so you don't miss out! I anticipate this kit selling out fast, just like our Summer Kit. Normally kits would go live on the 1st. However, Sat. Oct 1st is World Card Making Day and it's going to be a very busy day! Fall Kits will begin shipping on Monday, Oct 3rd.

Kits purchased on Sept 29th will be eligible to receive our FREE giveaway, while supplies last! This is a fun one. Mini alphas are so perfect for cardmaking! :)

 

And now some BIG news! I'm sure most of you already know and have been following the construction on my facebook wall....Duane & I will be moving! YAY!! We will be moving into a new house beginning Oct 8th. I'm sure it will take us some time to get settled so please be patient during this time. Any orders placed after Oct. 4th will not be mailed until after the move. Don't worry...I will keep you all posted as best as I can and will get your orders shipped as soon as possible.
