What the hell happened? GM is now owned by the US government, Canadian government, the UAW and the poor suckers who held onto GM'S debt. So Chrysler filed for bankruptcy and alerted their dealers by a dear fuck you letter. GM is in the process of reorganizing and the USG having an over 50 percent ownership in the company is well very scary. You see government takes over work like this. They take over, say they won't get involved, and won't make decisions; they always do. Hitler did the same thing in the 30's and we got the Volkswagen. Not a bad car now but Americans have been about individuality and I'm not sure another round of Henry Ford's 1st Assembly line models would work.

President Obama said these workers must sacrifice their lives for the future. A country such as ours, that ask our youngest and poorest to sacrifice their lives elsewhere, must also sacrifice their economic well being for the future.?

Sounds a little sketchy to me.

Who is this American Dream for then?

On the other hand, the private sector says they don't want government involved in business. Well guess what. Ya fucked up. You got too greedy, got on your knees in front of congress and opened your mouth; so deal with the after taste.

An example of the soullessness of some folks is Madoff. Took 50 billion dollars from people and still smiles and walk around as if he did nothing. Must be a great feeling to have no guilt.

Chrysler is a privately owned corporation which Cerberus Capital Management owns over 80% of the firm and surprisingly, they also own 51% of GMAC Financing. The company itself has over 24 billion dollars in assets, yet will let Chrysler fall in order to get funding from the government to back it. It's amazing how large companies can get money from the government for simply being inefficient.

So just last year they were talking about PRIVATE INVESTMENT, yet now they want PUBLIC MONEY. I say NO THANKS.

GM, who last year made a net income of -38.732 billion is asking for money as well. Let me get this straight, companies that can't manage to make a profit, are getting more money to repeat the same steps and come ask for money again? Doesn't make sense to me.

The UAW, who's unionized employees make on average $32.16 an hour plus $15 an hour in terms of benefits and the such including legacy retirement cost the company's $74.00 per hour per employee and the ironic thing is they have lost substantial ground and dug graves for many of the company's they unionized. The Great lie is that only 10 percent of expenses for unionized companies. Very not true based on info EVERYWHERE.

Fun Fact. Employees at Non-Union automobile plants make $45.00 an hour and their company's are not failing. Imagine that.

Protecting a worker is not done by bankrupting the company.

It seems like to me, that the media hasn't done their usual criticism of an incoming president and are still la la la Obama.

He even made up a magical office and nothing?

No jumping the gun(he wouldn't literally), nothing at all.

Just going along with it.

I understand the love affair academia has with him.

Of course they do.

Every thing seems great in theory, but application is another story.

There is some reports that a member of his transition team, an old rep from Michigan, David Bonior, who is a known Socialist(DSA to be exact), and preaches the idea of a North American Union, will be chosen as Labor Secretary.

That's not the only scary part. Obama bailed out of Congress a day before they were meeting with Detroit Execs.

What else will he bail out(pun intended)?

Standing up at the time would have shown people he cared. He already won the election, why not do your job that for the last two years you have neglected, with your constituents getting the short end of the stick.

I say , Yes, I voted for Obama and my vote wasn't free. The cost will be extreme criticism.

I'll be very critical of every move he makes and lately he has been making any good ones.

The White House is gone. Congress has been gone for two years. Traditional Red States have gone Blue.

Republican's Gilded Age was the Reagan Years. Small Government, low taxes and less government interference in the life of the citizens. All I hear lately is about Reagan. As if the party is stuck in this 1980's mind frame and unable to accept the fact that the country as a whole has moved more liberal in ideology and concern to social welfare.

Big Government. It happened. I don't think Bush wanted it to happen, but Sept. 11 did change the game. The creation of the Department of Homeland Security was a necessity.

No Child Left Behind was not. Not only was it government involvement wholly on the local level, it went against the major tenure of State's Rights and accountability measured with respect to those on the local level. From the GOP Website:

So to have the Fed's tell the local level how to run their schools is mind boggling.

Exactly. The Constitution assigns no role for the federal government in local education. Enough said on that.

The GOP is the Party of Pro-Life. So how can you have individuals representing the Republican Party who are Pro-Choice? You can't. Again you lose Credibility.

It is written in their Platform, yet not followed in its Politics.

Immigration. What a mess. You say you want it to end, but lets not forget Reagan gave Amnesty to millions of illegals in the 1980's. That can not be forgotten.

You can't say you want safeguards, then at the same time, people like McCain and others want Amnesty for illegals. Again, going against your platform.

This "Change" We hear of.

History was made. Barack Obama was Elected President of the United States. True to the Liberal ideal of Bigger Government, he even made a New office, The Office of The President Elect. Now during the campaign he promised the people that our government will "Change" and "Change" and "Change". I do not want to kill peoples adoration towards him or his socialist ideals( if you didn't know that, you should really research your candidate before you vote), but the only "Change" that happens fast usually ends in a Revolution or Tyranny. It cannot just occur. I have asked alot of people, at work and on the street if I see them with an Obama shirt on," What does Change mean to you?". It's sad when I get an answer that is vague. The usual answer was, "Change means to me that the government will be different."

Another response was( and one I will never forget), "So the government gives me money."

I feel most of those who voted for Obama will be disappointed. The media supported halo will eventually turn and in that, he'll fall from grace. From his own victory speech, with the inclusion of "We may not get there in one year or even one term, but America -- I have never been more hopeful than I am tonight that we will get there. Economy- Since Spitzer had all his charges dropped, put him in charge of SEC, after all it was some angry bankers who tipped off government officials which led to his resignation.

Health Care- Have a non-voting government official on the boards of major insurance companies.

Create loan programs for those who have medical bills more than 20,000 dollars to prevent bankruptcy. We did it for Wall Street.

Education- Have uniformity among all schools in the US.

Social Security- Remove the Cap on Payroll Tax. Problem Solved.

Energy- Government involvement in some type of Manhattan Project. Unemployment is 6.5 percent, put them people to work. Also take people who can work, who are on Welfare.

Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan- Don't screw up. Listen to the Generals. Give them what they need.

All in all, nothing much will Change. Thats what's great about our government. Those Checks and Balances to prevent Change from occuring briskly.

The Change that will happen is we will just be a little farther left than we are right now. Then in 4-8 years, we will be going more towards the Center, then a little farther right.

5 Days until Barack Obama is elected, or 5 days until the Republicans narrowly win election, such as the case in 2000. Though, in some parts of me I am glad we had a Republican President in 2001, when the WTC and Pentagon was attacked. Sometimes it is not good to make friends with people who rather have you destroyed. In the last 8 years, our country has gone down in every world standing. No one likes us. No one likes the richest most powerful nation in the world anyways. We stand alone at a grand juncture, such as Rome did. How Rome fell was excessive spending, which led to debt as a result of military expansionism, which led to great wars and exhausted treasury. Lets also remember, Rome's faulter had to to do with terrorist acts that launched most of these campaigns into the North and East.

It all goes back to David and Golieth. It only takes a stone to take down a giant, and it only takes a plane to take down an empire.

We are going into a Socialist Government that helps the majority of the citizens. The problem I have always had with Socialism, is that, where does it stop? Where does the government stop protecting the citizens from themselves and allow them to faulter? The 700 Billion Dollar Bill was ridiculous. The reason this country got so wealthy, has to do with many things. Our one time isolation, which bred new ideas, and built a new economy, as well as the rest of the world destroying themselves over and over again. The main point that sticks out, is the idea that in America, you can have nothing and make something of yourself. If you are willing to take the RISK, you can be that CEO with a 20 million dollar Bonus. If you take the RISK, you can have your stock double or triple. The problem is if you remove the RISK than, where is the REWARD, it is simply not there. France and other countries with higher levels of government involvement in daily life, are not the #1 country in the world, is because the RISK and REWARD are taking out of the equation. Life becomes simple, and why try to find a way to make a million dollars, when you can sit and get drunk, while being a on 5 week paid vacation.

I am for Obama for President. Though, I hope the method of Checks and Balances doesn't slip us into full blown Government Babysitting.

The problem with Democracy, is it gives the people their own power to put themselves in Tyranny. Sadly, throughout history, the voice to put those in power, lead to those elected taking the voice away.

Title.
This Act may be cited as ____________________.
Sec. 2. Purchases of
Mortgage-Related Assets.
(a) Authority to Purchase.--The Secretary is
authorized to purchase, and to make and fund commitments to purchase, on such
terms and conditions as determined by the Secretary, mortgage-related assets
from any financial institution having its headquarters in the United
States.
(b) Necessary Actions.--The Secretary is authorized to take such
actions as the Secretary deems necessary to carry out the authorities in this
Act, including, without limitation:
(1) appointing such employees as may be
required to carry out the authorities in this Act and defining their duties;
(2) entering into contracts, including contracts for services authorized by
section 3109 of title 5, United States Code, without regard to any other
provision of law regarding public contracts;
(3) designating financial
institutions as financial agents of the Government, and they shall perform all
such reasonable duties related to this Act as financial agents of the Government
as may be required of them;
(4) establishing vehicles that are authorized,
subject to supervision by the Secretary, to purchase mortgage-related assets and
issue obligations; and
(5) issuing such regulations and other guidance as may
be necessary or appropriate to define terms or carry out the authorities of this
Act.
Sec. 3. Considerations.
In exercising the authorities granted in
this Act, the Secretary shall take into consideration means for--
(1)
providing stability or preventing disruption to the financial markets or banking
system; and
(2) protecting the taxpayer.
Sec. 4. Reports to
Congress.
Within three months of the first exercise of the authority granted
in section 2(a), and semiannually thereafter, the Secretary shall report to the
Committees on the Budget, Financial Services, and Ways and Means of the House of
Representatives and the Committees on the Budget, Finance, and Banking, Housing,
and Urban Affairs of the Senate with respect to the authorities exercised under
this Act and the considerations required by section 3.
Sec. 5. Rights;
Management; Sale of Mortgage-Related Assets.
(a) Exercise of Rights.--The
Secretary may, at any time, exercise any rights received in connection with
mortgage-related assets purchased under this Act.
(b) Management of
Mortgage-Related Assets.--The Secretary shall have authority to manage
mortgage-related assets purchased under this Act, including revenues and
portfolio risks therefrom.
(c) Sale of Mortgage-Related Assets.--The
Secretary may, at any time, upon terms and conditions and at prices determined
by the Secretary, sell, or enter into securities loans, repurchase transactions
or other financial transactions in regard to, any mortgage-related asset
purchased under this Act.
(d) Application of Sunset to Mortgage-Related
Assets.--The authority of the Secretary to hold any mortgage-related asset
purchased under this Act before the termination date in section 9, or to
purchase or fund the purchase of a mortgage-related asset under a commitment
entered into before the termination date in section 9, is not subject to the
provisions of section 9.
Sec. 6. Maximum Amount of Authorized
Purchases.
The Secretary’s authority to purchase mortgage-related assets
under this Act shall be limited to $700,000,000,000 outstanding at any one
time
Sec. 7. Funding.
For the purpose of the authorities granted in this
Act, and for the costs of administering those authorities, the Secretary may use
the proceeds of the sale of any securities issued under chapter 31 of title 31,
United States Code, and the purposes for which securities may be issued under
chapter 31 of title 31, United States Code, are extended to include actions
authorized by this Act, including the payment of administrative expenses. Any
funds expended for actions authorized by this Act, including the payment of
administrative expenses, shall be deemed appropriated at the time of such
expenditure.
Sec. 8. Review.
Decisions by the Secretary pursuant to the
authority of this Act are non-reviewable and committed to agency discretion, and
may not be reviewed by any court of law or any administrative agency.
Sec. 9.
Termination of Authority.
The authorities under this Act, with the exception
of authorities granted in sections 2(b)(5), 5 and 7, shall terminate two years
from the date of enactment of this Act.
Sec. 10. Increase in Statutory Limit
on the Public Debt.
Subsection (b) of section 3101 of title 31, United States
Code, is amended by striking out the dollar limitation contained in such
subsection and inserting in lieu thereof $11,315,000,000,000.
Sec. 11. Credit
Reform.
The costs of purchases of mortgage-related assets made under section
2(a) of this Act shall be determined as provided under the Federal Credit Reform
Act of 1990, as applicable.
Sec. 12. Definitions.
For purposes of this
section, the following definitions shall apply:
(1) Mortgage-Related
Assets.--The term “mortgage-related assets” means residential or commercial
mortgages and any securities, obligations, or other instruments that are based
on or related to such mortgages, that in each case was originated or issued on
or before September 17, 2008.
(2) Secretary.--The term “Secretary” means the
Secretary of the Treasury.
(3) United States.--The term “United States”
means the States, territories, and possessions of the United States and the
District of Columbia.

Decisions by the Secretary pursuant to the authority of

women to pay for their own rape examinations while she was mayor, a practice her
police chief fought to keep as late as 2000.

A former Alaskan lawmaker
says it seems unlikely that Gov. Sarah Palin was unaware of Wasilla's
policy.

Former state Rep. Eric Croft, a Democrat, sponsored a state law
requiring cities to provide the examinations free of charge to victims. He said
the only ongoing resistance he met was from Wasilla, where Palin was mayor from
1996 to 2002.

All American Compassionate Conservative. A woman gets raped and then instead of getting proper care and attention, she is told she will have to pay for them to swipe the DNA off of her. After just being raped, a woman has to prove she was raped by paying up.

"In the past, we've charged the cost of the exams to the victim's insurance
company when possible," Fannon was quoted as saying. "I just don't want to
see
any more burden on the taxpayer."

Fannon is the Police Chief of Wasilla. So tell me, a city of 7,000 who charges rape victims for their DNA swabs and the Mayor had no idea. Insanity makes a comeback.

George Bush and Privatization of Social Security

in personal retirement accounts.
Personal accounts would be entirely
voluntary.
The money would go into a conservative mix of bond and stock

anything the current system could provide.
A young person who earns an
average of $35,000 a year over his or her career would have nearly a quarter
million dollars saved in his or her own account upon retirement.
That
savings would provide a nest egg to supplement that worker’s traditional Social
Security check, or to pass on to his or her children.
Best of all, it would
replace the empty promises of the current system with real assets of
ownership.

the private sector and regulators to identify institutions that are weak and fix
them before they become insolvent. The MFI is an early intervention program to
help financial institutions avoid bankruptcy, expensive bailouts and damage to
their customers. This will get the Treasury and other financial regulatory
authorities in a proactive position instead of reacting in a crisis mode to one
situation after another.

Palin Email Break-in

Word in the Conservative World, was that a nasty hacker broke into Sarah Palin's Yahoo Email Account. It was late at night between 3 and 4am. A Hacker named Anonymous, (because you know serial killers go by no name as well. who cares about glory) broke in and surprise surprise he could not find anything.

"I am the lurker who did it, and I would like to tell the story," the person wrote. "What started as a prank was cut short because of panic over the possibility the FBI might investigate."
The hacker guessed that the Alaskan Governor, whose private life has been widely covered in the media since Republican presidential hopeful Senator John McCain asked her to be his running mate, had met her husband in high school. The person also knew her date of birth and home post code.

Using those details, the hacker tricked Yahoo's email service into assigning a
new password - popcorn - for her email account.
Yahoo has a "forgot my
password" mechanism that allows customers to retrieve or change their password
if they can verify their identity by confirming personal information such as
birthday, post code and the answer to a "secret question", such as a pet's name
or school mascot.
Mrs Palin's hacker was challenged to guess where Alaska's
governor met her husband, Todd.
Mrs Palin herself recounted in her speech at
the Republican National Convention that the pair began dating 20 years ago in
high school in Wasilla.
"I found out later through more research that they
met at high school, so I did variations of that, high, high school, eventually
hit on 'Wasilla high'," the person wrote.
So the Governor of a State has her email address that easy to break into. Seriously. It would be like Barack Obama having his password, "Change." Or John McCain having his email, never mind he stated he doesn't know how to use one of these things.
Check this out, how did the hacker get her email address. I am sure it is not SARAHPALINNRAPROLIFE@Yahoo.com. So alot of this doesn't make any sense. It's not suppose to, I guess the lipstick comment would only distract for so long. Now we have crazy liberals breaking into ultra conservatives email and violating trust.

“John McCain voted against establishing a national holiday in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Now he says his position has ‘evolved,’ yet he's continued to oppose key civil rights laws,” the e-mail states.
It's true that as a congressman in 1983, McCain voted against making Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday a national holiday. He was on the losing end of a 338 to 90 vote in the House of Representatives.
McCain no longer stands by that vote. On April 4, 2008 — the 40th anniversary of Martin Luther King’s death — McCain said the vote was wrong in a speech he gave in Memphis, the city where King died.
“We can be slow as well to give greatness its due, a mistake I myself made long ago when I voted against a federal holiday in memory of Dr. King. I was wrong,” he said, to loud reaction from the crowd. “I was wrong, and eventually realized it in time to give full support — full support — for a state holiday in my home state of Arizona. I’d remind you that we can all be a little late sometimes in doing the right thing, and Dr. King understood this about his fellow Americans.”
So McCain did oppose the national holiday, even though he later supported the state holiday.
As for opposing key civil rights laws, McCain scores very low from two groups that rate Congress on issues involving civil rights law.
The Leadership Conference on Civil Rights rates congressmen on their voting records. For the most recent 110th Congress, it rated senators on an array of votes on such things such as immigration, voting rights, education and the judiciary. McCain scored 22 percent on his votes, voting in favor of the conference's positions twice, on immigration issues. (Sen. Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, scored 92 percent, while Sen. Barack Obama scored 100 percent. These percentages omit missed votes.)
The American Civil Liberties Union also rates McCain poorly, giving him a 17 percent rating for the 110th Congress and a 22 percent lifetime rating.

The Alaskan Independence Party has been advocating for Alaska secession from the US for over 30 years. In truth, Sara Palin was not actually a member (Lynette Clark, Chair of the AIP says she was.) How could someone be running for the VP of the US and be associated with a group that calls for the destruction of the United States. It amazes me about how much I am not hearing this. This is all proven by public record.

It just seems the more we learn about this potential VP, and her past involvement in a Secession movement, the more we should fear her agenda.

Tonight, Barack Obama will lay down the speech that will be all so important to winning this election.

Tonight, John McCain will interrupt the allure of the speech by announcing his vice presidential candidate during it.

Politics as usual.

As we have seen in the last couple of weeks, Russia is determined to do as they please even if the majority of the world is against them. Sound familiar to anyone?

In Russian eyes, we invaded Iraq and toppled a government because we wanted to instill our idea of freedom*. So for Russia to invade Georgia was their idea of giving freedom. Countries do not "free" others from oppressors unless they get something in return. It is never zero sum purpose. Russia invading Georgia was not a threat to US, but a reminder of what they're willing and capable of doing. A lesson to put in our books.

In European eyes, this is a disaster. Europe proper gets about 40 percent of their oil and natural gas from Russia. Once again, black gold has prevented those from acting, or acting with much restraint.

According to today's Gallup Poll, Obama and McCain are neck and neck in the hopes of becoming the next President of the United States. Obama picked Biden, which in my opinion was a good idea. He's been in the Senate for over 30 years and is Chairperson of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

We have to remember not to let McCain divide the party. They are not shy from causing divisions.

1^st. Deport criminal illegal aliens after they are released from prison.

2^nd. Enforce immigration law in the work place. Stop the hiring of illegal aliens.

Florida, must you always be involved in some type of nonsense. You think 2000 would teach you a thing or two. So here we are. Florida has 210 delegates and Michigan has 156. Move your primary up before the established date, and lose your vote. Over 5,000,000 voters lost their vote, because their representatives chose to ignore the party laws. This wasn't even an issue for the Democratic Party until the favorite started getting her ass kicked by the rookie. Then, as the numbers came in and the lead slipped, all of a sudden its an issue.

Here’s the statement from Patti Solis Doyle, the Clinton campaign manager:

Thus, we will be signing the pledge to adhere to the DNC approved nominating calendar."

And they did. So she signed a Pledge to adhere to the Rules, the Rules that were already in place, and when it became apparent she could lose, she wants them changed. Lets get to this. Obama wasn't even on the ballot in Michigan. Either was Edwards, Richardson, or Biden. So how could they count those votes if his campaign was actually going along with the rules that were set in place with the disenfranchising of these State's Primary Voting Status due to the moving up of their primaries?

District of Columbia vs Heller

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Here is what gets me. It starts off with a well regulated militia but then comes back to the word people to keep and bear Arms. So is it the militia who can have weapons or is it the people to protect themselves from the militia? Could it be broken down in common language to this:

A government run Military is necessary to our security. Though, it is the right of all people to have weapons and the government should never be able to take this right away.

That makes sense to me. What if this is what they meant:

A government run Military is necessary to the security of our country. At never a time should a branch of government dissolve the military and ask them to turn over their weapons.

That works too.

A case that is ongoing in the Supreme Court is the District of Columbia vs Heller. It has to do with the Firearms Control Regulations Act of 1975. This Act, passed by the City Council of District of Columbia, bans all handguns, automatic guns and high-capacity semi-automatic weapons,while also prohibiting possession of unregistered firearms. The only ones who could have these weapons were those who had them registered before the Act was passed, or retired police officers and other government employees. This in fact took the right to bear arms away from the people and only gave it exclusivity to government employees and ex government officials. It also said a gun at home had to be unloaded, disassembled, or bound by a trigger lock or similar device. Which would be very ineffective if someone broke in. So a government law which bans the use or possession of guns for protection or otherwise, and it took over 30 years for people to speak up about it.

On March 9,2007, portions of the law were declared unconstitutional by a three-judge panel of the US Court of Appeals in a 2-1 ruling in the case.The District subsequently applied for a en banc(which is basically the case done over again with all Judges Present), which was denied, and appealed the decision to the Supreme Court.

The Conclusion of the Court of Appeals with Senior Circuit Judge Silberman Writing:

"Once it is determined - as we have done - that handguns are 'Arms' referred to in the Second Amendment, it is not open to the District to ban them ... That is not to suggest that the government is absolutely barred from regulating the use and ownership of pistols. The protections of the Second Amendment are subject to the same sort of reasonable restrictions that have been recognized as limiting, for instance, the First Amendment."

It is now before the Supreme Court to decide.

Early on, Justice Antonin Scalia asked, "why isn't it perfectly plausible, indeed reasonable, to assume that since the framers knew that the way militias were destroyed by tyrants in the past was not by passing a law against militias, but by taking away the people's weapons -- that was the way militias were destroyed." He added, "The two clauses go together beautifully: Since we need a militia, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." Later, Justice Scalia noted, "It's not at all uncommon for a legislative provision or a constitutional provision to go further than is necessary for the principal purpose involved. The principal purpose here is the militia, but the second clause goes beyond the militia and says the right of the people to keep and bear arms."

The decision will be made this summer and will have far and wide impacts on jurisdictions who have tried to follow suit after DC, or states that enact gun laws, that are unreasonable in the courts view and final decision.

A UN humanitarian envoy is due in Burma to try to persuade the ruling junta to grant more access to UN workers to help with the cyclone relief efforts.
John Holmes will carry a letter from UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon to Burma's leader, Than Shwe, who has refused to answer Mr Ban's calls.
Burma says some 78,000 people have died and 56,000 are missing since Cyclone Nargis hit the country on 2 May.
Burma has so far been refusing most offers of international aid.

Rep. Tom Davis (R-Va.) thinks that President Bush is "absolutely radioactive" and that any Republicans close to the him will suffer electoral consequences.

Davis, who made waves for a shockingly bleak memo about the electoral outlook for the GOP this fall, tells Bloomberg TV in an interview that will air tonight that GOP members have "got to get some separation from the president."

"Republicans, I think, have time to turn it around to some extent," Davis tells the network.

"But, if they don't, we're cruising for a bruising."

Davis has been mentioned as a possible replacement for current NRCC chair Rep. Tom Cole (R-Okla.) following three straight special election defeats for the GOP. The Virginia Republican is not seeking reelection.

Amazing. At a time when solidarity is key to securing a victory in November, the Republicans count their biggest asset as their greatest liability. When the President of the United States, could actually hurt your reelection ideals, there is an issue. When everyone was following along, not many spoke up with their disagreements because they knew it was solidarity that continues the party lines, and build supports for all involved. Anti-illegal immigration group wants San Diego highway sign

"When members of an anti-illegal immigration group offered to sponsor litter cleanup on local roads, they never imagined California officials would offer them an Adopt-a-Highway stretch near a Border Patrol checkpoint on Interstate 5, the main artery carrying illegal migrants north from the U.S.-Mexico border.
On Friday, lawyers for the San Diego Minutemen told a federal judge that the state had no right to rescind the offer after state legislators complained to the California Department of Transportation. The group asked that its blue Adopt-a-Highway sign be put back where it stood without incident for about six weeks until the agency removed it in January."

It's Amazing how rights are given to the Illegal few, taken from the legal many, and thrown to the panderers of Unconvicted, Undocumented, Criminals. Those who break the law are criminals and whatever title you throw at them, the substance still remains. It is starting to become clear in our country that doing the right thing, is actually a waste of time. I see many people come to my neighborhood in brand new vehicles, one I could never afford, and yet I find them doing 10 dollar an hour jobs. Well when you're on Social Services, and rent is Section 8, and you have food stamps, well that gets rid of all cost. Throw in that your pay is tax free and straight cash you're doing ok. Something is wrong when doing the right thing hurts you. There is laws in this country and unless we start following them, our country will continue to be in decay. There is a right way to do immigration. There is a wrong way to do immigration. We're doing the wrong thing. Someone shouldn't get to take from the pot, without having to put into it. Do I look at my poor Americans and tell them they cannot have social services if need be? No. I do not. Reason be, whatever small amount they put in, at least they put in. We seem to have a two-tier System here. We have a Capitalism Society, where wealth is distributed among many, and if you try hard enough, you can make it. Have that house, car, beautiful family and success. Pay your taxes, use social services temporarily and try your best. That's all America ask of all of us, to give it our best shot.

Then, there is another system. The Socialist System. That is all those who want, not necessarily need, but want can have. Free housing, food, healthcare anything. You don't even have to work. You can live your whole life being instead of becoming. The problem is, one hand doesn't know its providing for the other. The working guy who makes 30,500 and pays about 6k in taxes, doesn't know that the Illegal who's making 30,500 a year, and keeps it all, is having his rent paid, food paid for and healthcare provided from the legal working guy. Pretty sweet deal.

People will always find way to screw the system, lets stop making it so easy to do.

Also, For God's Sake, let the Minute Men put their damn sign up, and we should appreciate that they are picking up the litter the illegals threw next to the highway on their way into the land of FREE whatever you want.
