I’m allergic to mosquito bites, so, once bitten, the bites usually puss and inevitably burst leaving dark, flat scars. Last summer I was bit repeatedly and now my legs are covered with scars. Are there proven creams or gels, etc. that I can buy over the counter to help diminish their appearance?

Answer by SerS
There were totally 15 moles / black spots on my face and body before, I tried this mole remover and most of my moles were gone right now. But please pay attention, don’t over use in order to avoid getting scar. Hope it works for you too.

For more information, please see the following using methods, it is very useful for unwanted moles, beauty marks, black spots.

BRAND NEW DIY MOLE VANISH WART REMOVER
10 ML Skin Care non-Laser Removal

Usage:
(1) Clean the nevus and the area around it, use a toothpick (do not use a cotton stick to tip or wipe) to mix the liquid and sediment, and then tip a little amount of the mole remover and apply it onto the middle of the nevus. The area would turn to white colour after 1 minute. Use alcohol or water to clean the mole area after 10 minutes (If you tip the amount of mole remover properly, you don’t have to clean). The mole would peel off (May help with finger) in 8 to 20 days. Repeat the process again until the mole peeling off if the colour of the nevus is dark. (it is suggested applying the liquid to nevus on hands or legs first to see the results and learn to control the usage before applying the liquid to other areas of the body, DON’T TRY on FACE for the first time!)

Question by chotudesi: How significant is scarring with laser mole removal?
I’ve had a cosmetic procedure done precisely a week ago, involving laser mole removal surgery on my face (with cauterization). The first day, the area was red, and then gradually as the week progressed, the redness around the area increased, whereas there was a circular flesh-shaped scab. I applied the topical cream my plastic surgeon advised me to apply on the area (two times a day), and during my nap today, I awoke to a slight bleeding of the area. I’m scared of scarring, although he assured me that by 3 months time, he is 98% positive I will not see a scar. Is this normal? Should I apply the cream still? Will this scar? I’m incredibly scared, as this mole has been the bane of my existence, and the cause of a significantly lowered self esteem. Any suggestions for prevention? Anyone went through this? Thank you so much. I’d appreciate it greatly if you post your input.

It’s been there since when I was like 5 or 6, and I REALLY want it gone.. People ask me if a dog bit me, and it’s getting annoying. It’s at the top of my nose, and kind of goes a little to my eye. Is there any way I could get it remover? Like a laser treatment of something?

Best answer:

Answer by Joff Rolland
there is a surgical procedure known as a “scar reduction”. although mathematically, it never completely gets rid of the scar, I suppose it can make it about as invisible as possible. Check with a dermatologist.

She has whiteheads and is getting scars because she picks at them. I know that she is starting puberty and I don’t know if this acne will be temporary. I don’t want to start her on something that could potentially harm her skin when these breakouts that she is getting could go away on their own.

Answer by Janell D
OMG, there are so many options now that were not available when you and I were kids!! Take her to a dermatologist and get her some help, there is no reason for her to suffer through acne.. There are so many self image problems that kids face at this time in their lives, help her with this one issue at least.

Question by Jessi M: Acne Scars Removal…….. ?
Ok, how can I help get rid of my acne scars. Is it good to use Bio Oil or Vitamin E? My face is natuarlly oily, so I don’t want to apply them and have my face break out all over again. I saw in the store, Neutrogena Acne Peel or something like that. Does anyone know if that works? I am using Murad, do they have something that can help with acne scars. I know I can’t fully get rid of them, but does anyone have ANY suggestions on what I can do!!??

Thanks

Answer by Chai
Depends on the extent of these scars. If it isn’t that bad, I would probably just apply some medication and hope they go away. I’m not sure about all the medication available in stores – but they do have alot. I’m not the biggest fan of Neutrogena just because a lot of people who use it have reactions to them. Those with sensitive skin usually break out more.

If these scars are really bad see a dermatologist. They might tell you to laser off the scars.

Answer by Leslie
Laser hair removal is great! It does take several sessions, but well worth it. It feels kinda like getting a tattoo. No scars for me.
