1. Korg NANOKontrol (Black version) Totally Recommending it for the Cheapest Ever Useful DAW Controller and DJ Mixing Controller. Price below 60$ (@Indonesia).

Came pretty neat when working w/ DAW program mac/windows (such: Garageband, Ableton, FL Studio, Logic, SonyAcid, etc).

Also can be used as a DJ Interface Controller and mixer controller for cheapest possible controller if you still can't afford the more expensive DJ Cont. ; also the main reason why i bought this :D (w/o Jogwheel, simpler version) (can be used for such program as: Traktor, Virtual DJ, Etc. note: mine workin perfectly w/ those software)

in the need to expand my vintage mac during the cashflow low. WD Element, the cheapest of its line saved me instantly, 40$ bucks for 500GB Mac/windows memory, really worth the money.

also comes with a nice leather case.

The downside of WD Element is.. it didn't came up with Anti-shock and any of the built in back up software from WD (Doesn't necessarily needed for backup, i found the software makes every process too complicatee)

This local brand (in my case: Indonesian Made) Computer Speaker has a compact sturdy body. The sound itself sounded great, bass, treble, middle. i found that it works great below the 75% of the max volume.

i had used it for my temporary Monitor Speaker when i am working on my music and it is working perfectly fine for the price.

Dinginnya danau Tiberia hingga seluruh airnya membeku dan pekatnya kabut salju yang turun, tidak menghalangi semangat kekejaman para tentara Nazi Jerman untuk menggiring para prajurit Soviet yang telah menjadi pecundang itu ke kamp konsentrasi.

“Hey Kamu! Orang Utara bodoh! Apa yang kau lihat?! Kau tidak lebih pantas dari sekumpulan ras anjing di mata kami ras Arya! Kau tidak pantas menatap kami yang derajatnya lebih tinggi dari kaum mu!” Prajurit Nazi itu berseru kepada seorang Soviet yang menatapnya dengan kebencian. Si Nazi itu mengangkat pistolnya dan “Dorr!” melesatlah sebuah peluru baja menembus kepala Soviet malang itu, ia mati seketika dengan kebencian yang tak tersampaikan.

Nikolav, nama seorang teman seperjuanganya yang tidak terima dengan kematian naas penuh penghinaan itu. Nikolav yang bertubuh besar itu memang dikenal kawan-kawannya sebagai prajurit yang sangat cinta bangsanya, pemberani, dan sangat peduli dengan negaranya. “ Kau Nazi tidak lebih dari sekumpulan serigala tak bermartabat, tak berakal, yang selalu haus akan harta! “ Nikolav berteriak dengan lantang dan mendorong prajurit Nazi itu hingga terjerembab ke tanah yang membeku itu. “Bangsa kami telah memberikan sebagian harta dan kekayaan alam kami sebagai tanda persahabatan untuk kalian, Jerman! Tapi apa balasannya?! Inikah balasan kalian terhadap Ibu Russia yang baik hati ini?!” Nikolav berteriak sambil merebut pistol prajurit itu dan menembak beberapa prajurit Nazi yang kaget dengan perbuatannya itu. Ia melanjutkanya dengan mementalkan timah panas itu ke pasung-pasung yang mengikat lengannya dan kawanan sebangsanya, agar mereka bebas untuk membalas para Nazi itu. Nikolav dan kawan-kawannya menembak dan menghajar kawanan Nazi yang ada di sekitarnya. “Ganyang Nazi hingga rata dengan salju Russia!” Seru Nikolav. Perebutan senjata dan baku tembak terus berlangsung beberapa saat, untuk sementara keadaan berbalik memihak para prajurit Soviet itu dikarenakan ketidak siapan para prajurit Nazi itu dan perebutan senjata yang telah berhasil dilakukan Nikolav dan kawanannya.

Sayangnya kemenangan kawanan itu hanya berlangsung sebentar karena kemunculan beberapa Artileri Nazi dengan senjata otomatisnya. Sebagian Soviet itu mati menyedihkan, sebagian lagi kembali mendapatkan pasung di tangannya. “Kamu besar! Apakah kamu yang memulai semua ini?! Jawab!!” Seru seorang komandan Nazi kepada Nikolav, dan ia menjawab “ Bukan saya, tapi Ibu Russia yang memulainya! “. Komandan itu menusukan machete berukuran sedangnya di perut Nikolav sambil berkata lantang, “ Binatang pemimpi!! Arya adalah bangsa Tuhan! Kami ditakdirkan menguasai dunia karena kami yang menciptakannya!”. Bersamaan dengan tersungkurnya tubuh Nikolav ke tanah, darah mengucur segar dari perutnya, ia yang cinta tanah airnya itu sekarat.

Tiba-tiba salju di sekitar mereka longsor dan mengubur sebagian besar peralatan berat para Nazi itu. Di kejauhan terlihatlah pasukan bantuan Russia lengkap dengan persenjataanya siap menyerang dan menghadang para Nazi itu. Mereka tahu mereka pasti menang karena bumi Russia tak pernah berpaling pada putra putrinya.

Dan Nikolav pun tersenyum di ambang kematiannya karena Russia telah menjawab permintaanya.

Culture Shock in My Own Country..

Some people may experience Culture shock when they were living abroad their home country. People whether they were a student studying abroad, adults getting a job outside their country, or immigrant may experience "missing the home" feeling or maybe they just missed their native food really bad. Culture Shock could be defined as a strange melancholy feeling that occurs when someone was in a long distance from their native area, it usually caused by the difference culture and manners, race differentiation, environment, lifestyle, and food differentation. A person may feels suddenly lonely, missing their family, feeling like being outcasted by the foreign society, couldn't match the foreign culture, or even stressed out to the point of insanity about the food.

Then here it goes the awkwardness, it's common for an immigrant having a Culture Shock, but what about when someone is having a Culture Shock against his very own Home Country??!

Let me tell you my very own story..

I.. was born in Jakarta, Indonesia. I am fond to know and fully accustomed with that country's custom and culture, the goodness and especially the badness of Indonesia has already been on my everyday life so i won't disturbed and even noticed it. Then during my teenage time i am leaving Indonesia for good and move to a new continent called America, to some place which goes by the name "UNITED STATES of AMERICA" a.k.a U.S.A., precisely in the CALIFORNIA state area.

Short Science Fiction Story: "Pyromaniac"

Format: Short Story and Screen Play

Story Title: "Pyromaniac"

Pyromaniac tells a story of a young man named Damien McColburn who discovered that his body can produce natural fire, caused by his mutated unique type body cells. This condition is very rare and scarce experienced by humans, history writes that two people who have had the same mutation with Damien is Vulcan (A Mutant of Greek antiquity is now regarded as a god by the people of Greek because of its power in controlling the fire) and Saint Peter Martyr (A prominent Catholic who turned out to be mutant who can control fire, although in the case of Saint Peter Martyr, he can only control fire in small scale and passive due to the "faith" in his church that suppress his power until very small amounts left).

Damien began to grow up and learn to control the fire that resulted from his body and surrounding his body with fire, he learned to manipulate those fire, Damien even could control the fire to dance and shaped it like a shape of some terrible monster. For a few moments in his life he became a superhero disguised in his nation, maintaining peace and eradicate crime. But gradually he found pleasure in killing and burn enemies with fire, Damien increasingly enjoying it, he's getting crazy with the Fire.

Damien desperately abstinence and his will to burn something. Unexpectedly she met a psychologist who is very reliable named Juno M. Kenzie with the hope to cure his mental condition. Juno tells Damien that he suffered mental instability called "Pyromaniac" where someone who experienced that deeply felt love and dependence with fire (perhaps this is why the Saint Peter Martyr letting his "Faith" suppressed and lock his mutant strength up to a very small scale.). Apparently the only way to heal Pyromaniac is to keep Damien far away from all kinds of fire and may not use his special force forever. Damien fought strong and furiously to keep a distance with fire around him and from within his body.

Unexpectedly to him, a criminal mastermind named Virgil de Maro, the mortal enemy of Damien, had kidnapped Juno and tortured her. In the circumstances of urgency, Damien out of control, and for the last time he came back with fire power and letting go all of the natural fire within his body, even with greater fire power than before, he burned down all of Virgil's men, and in his last fight with Virgil, he burned down the castle along with Virgil to the ground and save Juno.

several months later, Damien seen with a stable mental condition, try living the life of a human being properly together with his beloved Juno, away from fire.. far far away from fire......

Moksha: The Core of Hinduism, Jainism, and Buddhism Religion Explained

The Different Conception of Moksha employed respectively in Hinduism, Jainism, and Buddhism:

Moksha has been mentioned first time in Hinduism religion, and then Jainism religion, later in Buddhism religion. Moksha literally mean was Liberation. But it has a deeper meaning on those three religion, it means “Getting off the Samsara or the wheel of life and accept self-realization”. Before we’re going to talk more about Moksha I have to mentioned to you about samsara, things that you should know, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism religion has a great different view of life and death with the common western religion such as Christianity, Judaism, etc. They do believe in reincarnation or rebirth, in opposite with Christianity which was just believe that the life in this world just one time, once they died they couldn’t rebirth in this world but otherwise will move to heaven or hell. Samsara was the wheel of rebirth, and roughly those three religion (Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism) goal was to getting off from that wheel of rebirth or to achieve Moksha. There are some different perception about why Samsara was occur and how to achieve moksha in Hinduism, Jainism, and Buddhism. First I will talk about Hinduism.

Hinduism or Sanatana Dharma believes that the cause of rebirth was “Karma”. Karma can be translated as Causation; Presupposed reincarnation that determined your current life depends on the act of your previous life. It could be compare like the water on the water wheel, the water wheel was your samsara and the water itself was your karma, once the water stop flowing, the wheel surely will be stop rotating. Karma itself is not in God control, it was more powerful than God and the cause of Karma was highly unfavor. The other thing that is transfer from each of human previous life until the current life was Atman. Atman could be understood as self-capitalized/spiritual self or simply as a soul in other view. Moksha or self-realization in Hinduism brings the really important ideas of that religion itself, the idea that “Atman is Brahman”. Brahman legitimate translate as God but in more wider concept, Brahman was more like everything, one, and universal or the ideas that Brahman is us, all of us was one. Once we totally believe/realized that we are Brahman, we’re gone out of the wheel of life. And there are another requirement to achieve Moksha in Hinduism, they have to be on Brahman stage to be able to get out from samsara. Brahmin. Brahmin was the highest stage of caste system, the social placement/differential system that Hindu people believe and doing on their life.

• Brahmin: The highest in caste system (Priests)
• Rajas: (Noble family, King, etc)
• Shatriyas: (Warriors)
• Vaishas: (Farmers, Merchants, etc)
• Sudra: Slaves, Servants; there is one sub Caste of Sudra: Chandala: (The Untouchables) it was the lowest on the caste system, or you can say the damned one. They can’t be touched by Brahmin, or even on 15 yards distance with Chandala, otherwise Brahmin should do a purification ritual to heal their spiritual condition.

The major Hinduism concept to achieve their spiritual goal or moksha was mentioned in the story of Mahabharata. There is a story in Mahabharata when Prince Arjuna (he was a Rajas Caste) ride a chariot driving by his corporal named Krishna in order to go to war, Arjuna was denied his duty as a rajas, he denied to go to war and kill people, but Krishna remind him that the duty and karma of rajas was to fight, kill, and win the war. Krishna himself was an incarnation of Vishnu (one of Hindu God). The Major message of Mahabharata or the major concept to achieve moksha in Hinduism was self-realization, do your duty as your caste. Caste can’t be denied, there is no way to run from caste, do your duty in your caste and you shall be rebirth in a better caste on your next life.

The second was on Jainism view. Jainism does believe in karma and moksha, but they denied the 2 metaphysical claim of Hinduism, they didn’t believe in any God or divine; just like Mahavira said in Jainism, there is no divine neither Brahman. They believe the universe is not exist (there is no whole). Jainism or translated as Jina Dharma means Dharma of the Conqueror or could be conqueror of Karma, it is similar to Moksha. Jainism didn’t believe and didn’t do the caste system in order to achieve moksha, there is no self-realization for them. It was still Karma which causes them to rebirth, but they do have another view about karma. Karma was not abstract explanation for them. They believe in this world there are Jiva and Ajiva. Jiva can be understood as mind or mindful thing (Like Atman in Hinduism) and Ajiva as No-mind or mindlessness; simply could be understood as mind and matter. And Jainism believes that Karma is mindlessness matter (Ajiva), if Ajiva increase you will have bad karma on your next life. In order to achieve moksha, Jainism do ahimsa (means Non Harm), the duty of human life is do no harm for Jainism. And there is other best method to get rid of karma and achieve moksha, was to do self body denial, like to scars, cut, starve, burn, etc. In Jainism, moksha was a state of God like/illuminati where Karma can’t even reach you anymore.

In Buddhism view, Buddhism believe there is no Brahman too, they still believe in moksha and karma. The roughly concept to achieve moksha in Hinduism is not through the way too extreme like in Jainism (starve, scar, etc) but the way to moksha is the middle way. The reason why Siddhartha Gautama (founding of Buddhism) denied the Jainism teaching because he thought Jainism do Ahimsa (No Harm) to anything but they didn’t practice ahimsa to their self. The Middle Way of Buddha or Buddha Dharma itself taught not showing compassionate only to the others but also show compassionate to yourself. The Main idea of Buddha Four Noble Truth is If unfulfilled desire ceases, suffering ceases, it was like if we hold something more tight enough, we’re going to lose it and it setting up for more suffering, because all life is suffering (To live is to suffer). The Goal to achieve moksha in Buddhism is to become a Buddha and reach Nirvana and the way to become Buddha is with The Middle Way and understand The Four Noble Truth. Once Buddha enter Nirvana or other word getting out of samsara they can’t comeback to the Human World.

What is so effing Special about Fixie Bikes??

have you heard lately about some type of bikes called "Fixed Gear"? or precisely it's known by the name "Fixie" by the wannabe "Cool" young people in Jakarta, Indonesia..

what is so effing Special about this bike? whether it is already became a Spectacular trend? or should i say this "Fixie" phenomenon is just an ordinary happening fads? was this means the downgrade of humanity? Come on Man!! this bike doesn't even have a brake!
and the most stupidest factor about this bike was it's price. In Jakarta nowadays, the wannabe "Cool" young-adults are willing to pay a high amount of money to buy those Fixie bikes. Because Fixie was a customizable-modified it yourself bike, it's component sold separately. Each of it's component were sold with unreasonably high price (for example, the cheapest iron rods for it's body price was around Rp. 1.000.000,- ). The good standard whole setup of this bike was roughly around Rp. 5.ooo.ooo,-.

Man!! nowadays, Jakarta doesn't even have a bike track or even a sidewalk , for your info.. Traffic is everywhere with an atmosphere filled with Carbon (CO) caused by the vehicle's polluted fumes. what did you expect from riding a thin-highpriced bike in this city of Jakarta? a coolness? a healthy lung/body? the faster way to travel? a good investment for your growing up life and mind? Hell No!!

for me personally, i am a Fixie-Hater, Fixie is not worth the money to buy nor it is good for the future investment. See fads is always a fads, it comes and go in the short amount of time. maybe today the price of Fixie is 5 millions, but next time when you we're gonna sell it.. it's not worth more than just three hundred thousand rupiah (Rp. 300.000,-).

it's a wise decision not to buy fixie on your young adults years, coz' it's better to think about your future rather than acting back like your young childish age. Respect your parents Indonesians!! Use your parents trusted funds carefully, don't spend it on the useless thing.. like for example : buying a Fixie....

lately i just felt in love with everything simple and minimalist.. i'd like to call it a "Modern Minimality".. heyy it's a fresh air i guess.. or maybe i should say a Revolutionary for you who got bored with all of the sh*t complex, expensive gadget, and typical art wannabe nowadays.. to be honest i got bored with all of those complex gadget, like for example the Digi SLR +plus the "no need to be there actually" Filter kits, etc etc..

so i just used my own Nikon D-SLR + Standard Lens Kit (Without Filter!!!! Without Additional Lenses!!!! without Additional Lighting Kit!!!!) from the box or blackberry camera for now, and start to messing around those bunch of pics with the software..

sorry if this journal bother some of you.. i don't mean to,, this is just me telling all of my current feelings.. peace out....
