Here is one of my favorite hostesses, Niesy Nash. Niesy is the hostess of the show "Clean House" in case you ‘all didn't know. But this time, she is not here to clean the house instead; she is here to clear the dance floor (not literally).

She is one of the contests on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, together with her partner/choreographer Louis Van Amstel the two will presented a cha-cha to the judges. Watching her on her show really entertains me, but her dancing made me became a rock-solid fan. She is really FABULOUS and entertaining in her dance, you go girl!

Isn't she amazing? Whoohoo! I hope she will win in this competition. But no matter what, win or lose our girl Niecy is still fabulous!

It was a good start, but if not for the cut it could have been a more exciting match. Today, our Filipina boxer Ana "The Hurricane" Julaton defended her title. Unfortunately, when the announcer read the score cards it was a unanimous decision in favor of the challenger Lisa Brown.

The lady boxers fought courageously in the ring for 10 rounds of pound for pound boxing. Our very own Anna got a quite large cut on her eyebrow that changed the whole phase of the game. But this cut did not stop our champion to continue the fight and instead it kept her to keep going. Win or lose you still brought pride and glory to our country. I am sure that some may not be happy due to the loss but we are all still proud that one of our fellows Filipino is still doing her best to give our country pride and glory.

I wish you all the best and I wish that you’ll have more title to defend and more blessings to your boxing career.

Eearth Hour Tonight - March 27, 2010 from 8:30PM to 9:30PM (local time)

To all the people out there that inhabit planet Earth, let us all join forces with WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) in celebrating this event that will help save Mother Earth. This yearly event called Earth Hour will be celebrated tonight, March 27, 2010 from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM local time.

Let us all switch off all of our lights, if not all those nonessential lights and other electrical appliances. One hour may not be that long to save energy, but if we all do this, one hour will come a long way. This happening is celebrated all over the world, so if everybody will be participating it will surely have a huge impact. And Mother Earth will surely thank us for this.

Our office will execute this event, though we can’t turn off all of our lights, and all the computers but we will surely switch off electrical appliances that is unneeded. Our building administrator also sent a message to all the tenants in the building that their administration has their own measures to celebrate this event, switching off the lights in the reception areas, shutting the elevators, and switching off the air-conditioning system in some areas are some of the simple things that they will do to participate in this event.

So if you are at home or in the office tonight and if you think that your officemates or household is not aware of this event. Let them know about this, and encourage them to partake in this event even at the smallest and simplest way they could.

Let us all help save Mother Earth, do this not just for our future but for the later generations to come.

Every morning I always listen to the “Morning Rush” at RX93.1 (with Chico and Delamar). In the evening I am lucky to get a chance to watch ABS-CBN’s news program with my officemates while we have our dinner. Every time Nikolo “Niko” Baua gives his report, he reminds me of Chico Garcia a super famous DJ of Monster RX93.1.

And then I realized that these two guys have similarities with regard to their looks. At a first glance one looks like the other. Or you can mistake them as siblings or relatives. I really don’t know if they know or already knew each other. Or if somebody already told them they have a resemblance. So here are their photos, you readers judge:

The 3rd Hall of Famer of the Pinoy talent show "Talentadong Pinoy" aired on TV5 bagged the title of The First Ultimate Talentadong Pinoy. Joshua Davis or more popularly known as "Yoyo Tricker" on the said show, battled it out with the rest of the hall of famers like, Wanlu the ventriloquist, Far East Acrobats the family of acrobats, Makata Tawanan the funny poet, The Tribal Dancers the all female dance group, Leah Patricio the Diva, Omar the Ladder Balancer, and who will forget the wild card contestant Jackilyn the young diva, inspite her disability she proved to every one that it will not be a hindrance to reach your dreams and do want to want to do in life.

If your a fan of this show you will certainly like the way Yoyo Tricker mixed pop music and dancing with his yoyo tricks. This is not a common talent you will always see on reality show like this. This, I could probably say is the edge he had aginst the rest of the contestants. But none the less, the rest of the Hall of Famers who he beaten where also imcoparable with the talents that they performed. Like what Ryan Agoncillo said on the show "You are all winners at you own right". The winner was determined by combining the resulst ofo the viewers text votes (50%), and the juries votes (50%).

Tsunami Alert: LEVEL 2 - PHILVOCS

Philippines Institute of Volcanology and Seismology - PHILVOCS released Tsunami Alert Level 2, this is due to the devastating earthquake that shocked Chile Saturday morning. The 8.8 magnitude earthquake killed almost 214 people in Chile according to news, and this resulted to tsunami that even reached the shores of Australia, New Zealand, and other countries facing the Pacific Ocean.

Since it's already summer here in the Philippines people are rushing to beaches specially during this weekend. It's very untimely to get distressed by this report. But it's better to be safe and cautious to make sure that no untoward incident will happen to us an our family.

Though alert level 2 according to PHILVOCS does not bring devastating waves, waves may be unusual and can be as high as 1 - 2 meters. This maybe fatal to some specially to those who are not good swimmers, so be safe. The tsunami waves are expected to reach the Philippines shore today 1:00PM - 2:30PM . Here are the list of provinces that might experience the tsunami waves (This is according to PHILVOCS):

As we all know election is right around the corner. As of this writing based on COMELEC's website, they are counting down 84 more days before the automated election.This is the very fist fully automated election that we will have. So every voter young, old, first time, and even experienced voters are new to this and should be informed with this new way of casting their votes. The government, specially the Commission on Election is doing everything they can to inform the public how this automated voting is done.

They are not alone in informing the public, in fact GMA 7 created a very catchy song matching it with dance steps showing how to answer the new ballot that COMELEC will be using. I heard this song on one of the variety shows aired every Sunday. If you caught it too on TV then you know the show that I am talking about. I won't tell you what channel it was, just to add a little bit of fun.

The song that I am talking about is none other than Cascada's - Evacuate the Dance Floor. I am sure that if you love to party, this is the song that will really make get on your feet and start dancing. For use the dance floor will get pumped up.

I am now back blogging... wohooo! This post is will be for my one of favorite female RNB signer no other than my girl Brandy (applause). Who wouldn't love her songs and like how she give life and emotions to the songs she is singing.

But in this post, I will share a video I found in Youtube where Brandy guested in German show, Anke Late Night. This is a hilarious video. Brandy did a duet with the funny host of the show. They did a cover of Whitney's One Moment in Time and changed it to One Coffee in Time. Our girl Brandy was up for the challenge and cool in singing the song. This video proves that no matter what you do with the song, a true singer can pull this up together and will still sound amazing. Here it is and I hope you'all enjoy it.

For the past few days I have been singing this song over and over again. This not actually a new song, I heard it before and believe it or not I have never liked. Two days ago my friend asked me to send him the lyrics of this song, while copying the lyrics that I'll sent him I saw this video (which I have added here) of Jesse. I played just to see if what it's all about. I was stunned by the performance on this video, singing with just a guitar playing (acoustic) and I think in a radio booth was really amazing. I saw this movie last weekend and it sure is a very good movie... all I can say is it's perfect! No wonder all of the cinemas only showed this movie and innumerable number of people filed in the cinema to watch it. I am thankful that my friend and I decided to see the movie at earliest viewing time, and it saved us a lot of time and stress in falling in line just to purchase a ticket.

Last Thursday morning we were awaken by the news that the King of Pop Michael Jackson passed away due to cardiac arrest. Until now it still not sinking in, I feel like he still here probably resting or rehearsing somewhere. I can see it on the news, tributes on music channels and even celebrity gossip shows. He is really gone, to all his fans and loved ones please accept my deepest sympathy. He will always live in our hearts through his music. He will never be forgotten even the children who were not yet born will know who Michael Jackson is. His music will always be an inspiration and he will always be an icon in the music industry, a Legend. His achievements will always be a bar that needs to be reached or surpassed by music artists who wants to get successful and famous. His voice and music will always heal the world and unite every one don't matter if your are black or white. I'm sure he wants us to all make a change... we will miss you MJ.

In lieu with this I would also like to caution every body about the Michael Jackson 's death e-mail spam threat. This is of course an e-mail about MJ's death, it compromised a valid sites to affect users. It is said that the message will containts a link about Micheal's death it could either be a video or an article about his death. Once you open the link using your browser and while you are busy reading or watching the video, the virus and other malicious information stealing software is downloaded in the background without the user’s knowledge. I reckon that you all be very cautions in reading messages and opening links from senders that you don't know.

I have another e-mail here that I need to share with you guys. Again it's one of those scam e-mails. I even found another site where they tried to communicate with the sender of this message, too bad they did not post anything yet what happened when they called the bank. But as I go through their conversation I can see that there are things that made the conversation a hoax. One of them is the email address of the Bank Director, its ending at yahoo.fr. If he is really an employee from that back he must have an e-mail address with the banks name.

Movie Review: The taking of Phelam 123

I've seen the movie "The taking of Phelam 123". This movie starred Denzel Washington and John Travolta. This is a remake of the Walter Matthau-starring thriller from 1974. This movie is about the high jacking of one of the New York City train, the Phelam 123. The train got it's name from the time it leaves the train station. I think it was something like that, I really can't recall the exact words Denzel used on the movie to answer the Officer's question about the name of the train. If you have seen this movie and you still remember the line, just tell me.

Well all in all the movie is great though it did not have much action scenes in it. What I loved about it is the story and the lines that Denzel was delivering specially when he was trying to calm the hostage taker (John Travolta) and get more information about him just through random questions. And the two scenes that are really heart breaking for me were first, when Denzel was asked if he took the bribe and second was when he called her wife to let her wife know that he was chosen by the hostage taker to deliver the ransom money.

In relation to this I was able to ask Mr. Ryan Seacrest his opinion about this movie. Here is what he has to say via twitter.com:

Seeing this movie solidified my belief that if it's a movie starring Denzel Washington it will be a very good movie. I have seen other movies he starred in like Bucket list and from then on it seems like I already liked him as an actor. And to cap this all up, I give this movie a 5/5 rating. Yeah I know it's a perfect score, but who cares this is my blog and no one can change it. And besides we are all entitled to our own opinion, right? Just recently I got addicted to this twitter thing. In this site you can follow someone who has a twitter account. Aside form that you can also interact with them through this.

I really don't have a lot of followers but I am following quite a few. And most of them are people that I am idolize or a fan of. Just recently, I followed an artist in my twitter account. She regularly updates her twitter account. I have commented on her entries several times. I never thought that I will get a reply straight from her, she sent me a direct message saying thank you.

Well I guess the user of this site is true, you can interact with other people thru this. And as I fan this I really some thing, I guess not just some thing but a big thing that a personal message from some one like her. Even with a simple message this will really make you smile. I'm not bragging about it, but I can't hide how happy I am about this lol!

Right form the very start, the moment I saw him I knew right there and then that he is... I guess it takes one to know one lol. But who cares, he sure is great singer. I guess that won't matter the moment he started singing. Here are the things he said he said about this issue.

I just recently got a digital camera, Hooray! It is a Sony Ericsson DSC - S950 colored black. It is a Sony cyber shot point and shoot camera. As a first time user of this gadget, I did not have any problems using it. The controls are very easy to follow and very much self explanatory. Except for those symbols that only a camera expert or photo savvy will know. I have used the camera for test shoots indoor and outdoor with different lighting condition. If you really know how to change settings depending on the environment this camera will be able to give you what it's supposed to deliver. All in all I can say that this is worth your money. A $129.99 value is definitely a smart buy something like this. So if you are looking for simple yet user friendly digital camera, you might want to consider getting this one. Sony is not paying me to write this blog, I just want to share what I think about this camera.

GBA emulator for PSP Slim

In my eagerness to play Pokemon on my PSP, I have searched the Internet for ways on how to get the game running on my PSP (Slim). The first tries on doing this was not a success. I found videos in google that for me is very hard to follow and I don't have any resources to replicate it. I am hoping to find any program about that don't need much tinkering to get the game going.

Just recently I tried to search for an emulator that can emulate GBA (Game Boy Advace) Roms to work with a PSP. And in to my suprise I found a thread on pinoypsp.com. Thanks to the user paul777 for creating a thread regarding this. Here are the steps on how to get this on your PSP:

After downloading and unzipping the file. You copy the folder UO_gpSP_kai' folder and paste in PSP >>GAME folder of your memory stick.

To put a game on it. You need to paste the roms in: PSP>> GAME>> UO_gpSP_kai>> GBA>> ROMS.

After this, once you open your PSP and got the games you will see the UO_GPSP_Kai. Just select it and chose the roms that you want it to emulate for you. I have tried this on my PSP slim running on firmware 5.0.0 and it works like a charm. You can also check the forum thread about this emulator on pinoypsp.com just click here.
