I'm back!! At least for some days

Hey everyone!!!

I missed this so much :')

I've been away for a while because I moved out of my mother's home.

Searching for a job has this things...I've been unemployed for too long, and to change things in my life I have to make some decisions, and I did...I moved to another place where I think I'll have some more opportunities and maybe find something for me.

The bad side of this is that where I'm living know I don't have Internet, so I can't keep on posting as much as I would like...
But now I'm back for some days, and I'll try to make some posts :)

Just to update you, I've been away for a couple of months, moved to Cascais (a gorgeous place, I must say), I'm with my boyfriend at his sister's place, and we are very happy there.
The "job" part of the moving has been difficult, because things here in Portugal are very complicated right now, but I think I'm going to find something...or at least, I hope so!!

Hi loves!

As you can see, my blog it's quite different now...

I've been trying to make it appealing for you guys, and for me as well, but it's a tough task because I'm always pointing things here and there that I don't like...I'm so freakin' picky!

I think I've changed it so many times already that some of you sometimes don't even remember me ahah
But I guess I'm going to stick with this look for now...

Today I'm going to share with you some of my favorite booties that I found at bershka.com.

I love this store so much, it's like the european version of Forever XXI : )

You mostly find there amazing pieces at affordable prices, but you'll see that you can find some that are a bit pricier too, but it's because the quality it's quite nice. I have jackets, shirts and jeans from them that are years and years old and still in perfect condition, so you can understand what I mean : )

RoomDecor - A work in progress !

Hey everyone!

I'm super tired today and with pain in every single bone in my body, but for a good cause!

I moved into my mother's house since a couple of months ago (for unemployment reasons) and since then, I've been trying to make my new room cozy and comfortable for me and my boyfriend, but it's beeing very hard!

This room it's pretty small so there's not much space for storage, and also, I don't have spare money to buy anything for decorating it or bettering it, so I had to reutilize things that I already had, have some imagination and try my best till I have the possibility to make it the way I really want it to be.

This all happened after watching a room tour on YouTube...

I've been changing things all the time, actually, I moved my bed 4 times since I'm here, so I guess I'll never be 100% satisfied with it ahah

But I think that now I'm starting to realize what direction I really want to go with my room decor : )

I'm going towards the "Earthy" theme!
Green, brown, copper, gold and white are the main colors.

I' going to show you first a photo where you can see a little of what my room looked like before I moved everything today!

You can't see much, but you'll now see how different it is :)

That circular green thing on the left it's actually the cover I had on my bed before...now it's serving as a cover for a traveling trolley bag, making it a perfect purse stand : D

So, I had a problem...My bed doesn't have a "head", and I didn't like how naked my room felt because of that so, as you can tell, I used a courtin to make one.

It's not the most perfect thing in the world, but it works for now!

THIS THING IS THE REASON WHY MY BACK IS IN SO MUCH PAIN!!!!!!

OMG!

I had to move this armoire to the opposite wall by my own!

Imagine this, tiny space, full of junk, a bed and a armoire on opposite sides, and moving them little by little at the same time so I wouldn't be stuck between them nor making some kind of disaster...

It was tuff!

Here's the little corner of mess...

I have to work on this soo much!

So here I have my earring holder on a little stool and 2 stacked boxes on the right, covered by a blanket that was on my bed as well, and a trash can hiding on the corner.

Here is my boyfriend's shoes on a thing that was used as a potato basket in the past ahah

I had to use my imagination a pick up as much things as I could to make this a practical space : D

Green curtains...

Lately I've been in a dress kick as you can tell.

I know that I'm certainly not the most elegant girl in the world, that this type of look would probably be better on other people, and that I have pretty stubby legs, but I've already embraced all that and my *full size'ness* too.

I'm still gonna rock dresses the best I can, show some leg, show some curves and not be embarrassed by it because I've already wasted so many precious years of my life being ashamed of what I looked, and now it's time to change!

Today, while I was searching for a sweater to wear, I discovered in my mother's closet some pieces that she used to wear when I was little and that at that time I always loved how she looked in them, so now, that I can actually fit in them (since I'm not too little anymore) I thought I would try them and see how I look in them.

I think I'm gonna start a series here based on what I find at her closet that she used to wear ages ago but that I can still style it these days... What do you think? : )

The first piece that I'm gonna show you today it's something that she used to wear for work or going out for dinner.

It's a grey fitted dress, knee-length, with thin lighter grey stripes that provides a longer a slimming silhouette.

Yesterday, while I was watching some haul videos from YouTube, a girl mentioned a website that I've never heard of, so I decided to check it out.

The name of this website is Tmart. It has similarities with eBay, you can find there everything, since apparel and beauty, to electronics and house decor.

I haven't purchased nothing from this site yet, so I can't tell you how safe it is or how customer service works, but I'm amazed with the range of the prices and the selection they offer.

Another amazing features of this website are that they ship to a lot of countries and you can actually select the language so that you can understand everything that is mentioned on it! Pretty cool I must say : )

Today while I was organizing my cosmetics, I realized that I've been collecting perfume bottles...

I'm not really the type of girl that needs perfume in her life, for me, a nice scented soap and shampoo it's more than ok, but when people offer them to me I use them for fun and maybe to make some heads turns.. ahah : P

Well, I don't have lots of bottles to show you, but a reasonable amount.

This perfume has a mix of floral and fruity scents.

On the description you find that this perfume has notes of watermelon, blackberry, pineapple and lily of the valley, making it a sensual and strong perfume, but still very fresh.

It's an amazing summer perfume because of the fresh and clean smell that it has.

This bottle it's different now, they came up with a much prettier packaging.

DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom

This perfume was actually one of my favorites!
It has a fresh, sophisticated and beautiful smell!

Grapefruit, Cassis, Apricot, Muguet, Rose, Jasmine, Apple and Blond Woods are some of the notes of this amazing perfume.

RALPH by Ralph Lauren

This is a floral perfume, very summery too, or at least it is for me because thats when I used it ahah

The notes that this perfume has are Apple Tree Leaves, Yellow Freesia, Italian Mandarin, Japanese Loquat, Osmanthus, Magnolia, Linden Blossom Flower, Purple Freesia, Boronia, Musk and White Orris.

This scent is a little softer than the other two, more discrete but beautiful.

One of my favorites too!

Moschino Glamour

A friend gave this one a couple of years ago for Christmas, and I used it up on that same Winter.

It's a warmer scent, floral and woody, so it's perfect for cold seasons : )

This perfume is so freakin' long lasting that I could still smell it on some of my jackets that were stored in bins that I haven't used since then. Top notes are mandarin orange, neroli and bergamot, orange blossom, apple, pear, rose, musk petit grain and cedar.

Antonio Banderas Blue Seduction

This perfume was a birthday gift from my parents a couple of years ago.

It has a very aquatic, fresh and floral scent to it.

The top notes on this one are violet and raspberry.

It's a very pleasant scent. It's strong but not overwhelming.

Like it a lot Mr. Banderas : )

Oriflame Petal Quartz

Actually, this probably was the only perfume I've ever bought for myself, and guess what? This one I really do not like it... I tried to use it a couple of times but I can't stand the granny smell of it : (

When I ordered it I thought I would love it because the sample I had was really good, but nop... Don't know if I got a messed up bottle or if I smelled it wrong at the first place... EWWWW!

B.U. HeartBeat

OMG! If you like sweet fruity scents, you'll love this one!

This is another one that I think it's perfect for cold days : )

It has a hint of vanilla, which I love, it's very sweet, fruity and musky!

B.U. Wild

This one is what I'm currently using.

My boyfriend got me this for 3€ at a local store!

This perfume has a very floral scent to it.

You'll find rose notes on it.

For me it's a winter scent, but you can still use it during summer because it isn't super strong. It's a mix of fresh and warm at the same time...It's hard to explain, but it's a beautiful smell I guarantee you!

And now the GUY PERFUME! : )

All of them were presents that I gave to my boyfriend because he loooooves perfumes!

We have here Déclaration by Cartier, Armani Code by Giorgio Armani and Acqua di Gio by Giorgio Armani.

I love all of them but my favorite one has to be the Armani Code!

Today I have yet another OOTD...

I had a pretty lazy day today... Just did some stuff around the house and walked the doggies, nothing special, so I didn't dress up, just curled my hair, but I still think that I had a cute look for lounging around : )

This is a Sonic hoodie that belonged to my brother, and he gave me a couple of months ago because it doesn't fit him anymore, and I love it because it reminds me of when I was a little nerdy girl who played Sonic games all the time instead of playing with barbies =D

This is a such a cute, nostalgic and comfy hoodie that I can't stop wearing it!

I think Fall is playing tricks on me!
Yesterday was soo sunny and hot outside, and today was a super rainy day (but not cold at all)!
This way I can't storage my summer clothes any time soon cause it seems that Fall just shows it sell when he feels like it, and we never know what to wear the next day because it can be pouring rain or super sunny... Oh well, I guess we really messed up our World =\

Anyway, today I wore something that would protect me a little from the rain, but that would still be fresh enough so that I wouldn't dye in sweat! Eww ahah

Today me and my family drove to a beautiful place! It's called BuddhaEden Park, the garden of peace.
It's so pretty and huge... you can't even imagine! It's full of buddha statues, lakes, animals...omg, it's soooo sooo amazing! Wished you could see for your eyes.
Anyway, today was quite a hot day, looks like Fall it's beeing a little shy this years and doesn't want to show it self, so I had to wear something more summery again.

What's in my bag?

Hey everyone!

Every time I'm doing a blog post I'm already thinking of what I'm gonna post the next day, so yesterday, I was thinking of trying another Halloween look, but this time showing you the process, like a tutorial... Buuuut today I've been feeling soooo lazy, didn't dress up and haven't had any makeup on my face all day because I just didn't feel like it, but still wanted to do something here so I thought I would do a "What's in my bag" blog post for you : )

I love to see this tag on YouTube, and I've always wanted to do one, but I don't have courage enough to film videos, so I'm * bloggin' *it : )

I'm just gonna start by showing you my bag...

I bought this bag 3 to 4 years ago at a local festival we had here.

This bag was 5€! Only 5€! Can you believe it?
It's a non brand bag from a flea market, and the quality didn't seem to be anything special, so when I bought it I kinda knew that this purse would eventually fall into pieces the next couple of days, but I mean...5€, what to expect? You get what you pay...

But actually I was sooo wrong, and I'm really impressed with the quality because I've been wearing this bag so many times to so many places, stuffing it with a bunch of crap and not treating it very well, and it still looks brand new!

The buckles and studs are still shiny , the material isn't damage at all... Very, very impressed!
And very happy too because I really love it : )

Now an overview of all I carry in my bag...

You might think that this is too much or nothing compared to some other people's bags, but trust me, all those littles things make my bag sooo freakin' heavy!

Now I'm gonna show everything in more detail...

I'm not showing you what's inside of these littles babies because then it would be an endless blog post, but I might be doing another one just to show you what's inside them.

So here we have a little red pouch for my iPod Nano, a pink pouch that I mainly use as an *emergency kit*, the gold one has feminine stuff, and the crazy cute one has band-aids, because I'm very clumsy and I'm always hurting myself.

The black velvety pouch it's my camera case, the pink one I use just for medicines and pain relievers, the purple plasticky box it's full of bobby pins and the other one it's just my makeup bag.

Here we have my wallet, a deodorant, my phone case, a lot of creams (hand, feet and face), a soap, detangler for my crazy hair and hand sanitizer.

Keep in my that I'm always at other people's houses, that's why I have so many toiletries with me.

Now we have a charger for my phone, playing cards (because you never know when you'll need them ahah), more pain relievers, my favorite hair comb, a mirror, 3 lighters, one locker and keys for it, more hand cream (because apparently one isn't enough for me), 2 of the many more chapsticks I have in my purse, an old bracelet that my boyfriend gave to my brother (don't even know how it ended up here, but whateve's) and a spoon thingy from a coffee shop.

We are almost done here guys!

Well, as you can see I'm a *stationary freak*... Staples should employ me or pay me for advertising this because me and that store it's like match made in heaven! Everytime I go there I get lost with all the cool stuff they have there.... Now back on track, I don't have one, or two...or even three notebooks... I have FREAKIN' 4!!! OMG! Now I'm embarrassed....But guys, I really like to write things down.

I don't use any technological device as a planner or as note taking, so I run thru this things really fast, but I still keep the ones I'm done with because they have lot's of things that I need (or at least I think I need) to carry with me all the time...

And lastly, as a freakin' nerd I am, I have a load crap of pens, and pencils and what not.

Halloween is coming!

Today I felt like trying something that I never did before, which is transforming myself into a Zombie!

I've seen so many tutorials on YouTube, and they inspired me to try it!

Here in Portugal it's not a tradition to celebrate Halloween, however, I'm gonna still celebrate it on my one and maybe scare some people, since they won't even remember which day it is when it comes.

I had to work with what I already had in my little make-up collection...But I think that it didn't turn out that bad : )

I love Fall!
I've been impatiently waiting for it to come, and finally it's here! And I'm saying "it's finally here" because it's been so sunny these days that I could barely feel "fall'ish" at all.

Today it's a rainy day, but it's still hot outside, so I wore my most comfortable boots, a light long cardigan, a little black jersey dress and tights.

Today I felt like sharing my favorite Fall items with you... Coats and Jackets!

It all started when I was in high school and I had low self-esteem. I was concerned about showing my body, because I've always been full figured and the biggest girl in class, and as you know, teenagers can be really cruel sometimes, so I had to find a way to hide myself but without everybody noticing that I was wearing those items for that purpose (hope you get what I mean). So I started buying jackets, cute ones, and suddenly I became very into them. Not only I felt more secure about myself while wearing them, but my friends were always complementing me from what I was wearing as well! It was a win win situation for me.

Nowadays, I'm not that self conscious about my weight anymore, I'm not ashamed of being a full figured woman, I'm proud of it, because I learned to love myself just the way I am, but still using and buying jackets, just not for the wrong reason...it's just because I love them : )

Review on: Lush's Soap Honey I Washed The Kids

Hey everyone!

Today I have a review for you of a Lush product!

As you can tell by the title, I'm going to talk about my experience using the soap "Honey I Washed The Kids".

I've always wanted to have something from Lush, and today was my first time trying something from them.
This was actually gifted to me by a dear friend at our dinner on Friday. We were in the car getting her back home and she said "close your eyes and open your hand", and there it was my first Lush soap! YAY : )

I got so happy when I saw what it was!
Since I never had the opportunity to get anything from Lush, because the only store that I know it's a little bit far from me and I don't get the chance to go there that often, I was keeping my self from using it right away because I don't want to run out of it, but the smell in my room was tempting, and today I had to use it.

This is an amazing soap, it's gentle, buttery, very moisturizing (because of the honey water and aloe that's in it), lathers really well, it has a sweet caramel fragrance that not only it's irresistible as it is long lasting...

I love this soap to pieces!
I'm addicted to it and I have to go get some more because I need this in my life from now on : )
If you have a Lush store near you, and you've never tried nothing from them, I totally recommend this soap!

Today I went to a friend's house for dinner, and the food was really yummy! We ate LASAGNA!!!
And the best of course was being with my friends again ^.^
It was a such a nice evening! Great food and great company, it's all a girl needs!
