Custom Invitations : Rustic Elegance Barn Wedding Invitations

Sneak a Peek! Here is a little taste of the hand painted rustic elegance custom wedding invitations design I created for Sydney and Christopher. I love the couple standing in the doorway of the barn. Inside this custom-made booklet style invitation is lovely sparkling blue card stock with an overlay of thick white invitation card boasting their blue wording. On the left inside, outdoor globe lighting strings are hand illustrated to give the guests a glimpse of the venue. I will post more photos on My Personal Artist Blog very soon.

What a lovely Wednesday! James, my mother Pamela, and I are busy as bees! Right now in the studio, my mother is hand-tailoring these peony wedding invitations for Jessica and Benjamin. I am in love with the pink, champagne, and green colors. It reminds me of Spring days!

The sun is streaming in the studio window and the sky is blue. I've spotted and heard MANY blue jay birds and robins in the area. That can only mean one thing... spring is closer than ever! One more month of snow on the ground, maybe? Until then, I will continue to paint flowers and lose myself in floral invitations and tropical, beach wedding invitations scenes. Ahhh ... I'm in heaven! xo

We used 1,232 Glue Dots on Lynn's daughter's custom pocket folder beach wedding invitations shown above. Each invitation was nestled in an invitation box with hand-folded aqua tissue paper and hand-tied wraphia bow. When the boxed is closed, a matching 2 layer custom label boasting my hand drawn starfish gave the guests a hint of the beach themed invitation design inside. We are so delighted that Lynn and her family are pleased. xo

Custom Invitations ~ Hand Painted Hotel Del Coronado

Wet Paint! On July 10th I finished this custom hand painted Hotel del Coronado painting for Janet’s daughter’s custom wedding stationery. Weird thing. I painted this before I received the photo (first photo above) from Janet. I’m glad it is almost identical to what she sent. Lucky because this custom painting almost took 3 hours.

I can't wait to show you the entire stationery suite!

Custom Mountain Letterpress Invitations

I always enjoy a custom made wedding invitation design!

Angela approached me and requested a custom designed mountain themed letterpress invitation based on the photograph above (top photo). She wanted a simple hand drawn invitation design. Her save the dates (not shown) featured the same mountain themed illustration in white on an all chocolate brown background. Next, I’ll upload the art to my zazzle.com account so she can enjoy the hand drawn mountain illustration on her stamps also.

PRIVACY: Angela’s real name, date, etc. information is not shared in the photo above, another plate was run to show you the design I created. Our clients ‘before the wedding information’ is always kept private here at My Personal Artist. It is very important to us to protect our clients privacy, ALWAYS.

Please note custom designed invitations take several months at My Personal Artist due to the high volume of requests. Several clients are “in line” waiting patiently for their creations. We never rush a custom order because we simply can not push our other clients aside to assist your rush. Please be sure to plan ahead. We are now accepting requests for custom designed invitations for 2011 weddings and events only. For custom designed invites we highly suggest you contact us 4-6 months before you want your invites in YOUR hands. James and I bought our original Heidelberg Letterpress Printing Machine in May. We use to outsource our letterpress division to a large invitation vendor. I just read on wedding bee about the trouble a bride is having putting together her navy and yellow color scheme wedding. I of course immediately jumped over to the Style Circle and whipped up this inspiration board delight with her in mind.

Remember, when planning your wedding color scheme, you do not have to overboard. Navy doesn't have to be just navy. You can feature navy, royal and a blue violet! A splash of "navy" here and there with a tiny dash of yellow is just right!
