CustomWare joins Get Satisfaction in Social CRM Solution

The partnership brings together two customer-centric organizations focused on integrating public user communities with internal CRM support systems.

Get Satisfaction, the popular Web 2.0 platform that's transforming customer support with community and crowd-sourcing, today announced a partnership with CustomWare. The pair's first mission is to create a Salesforce AppExchange application that will give Salesforce users a new way to harness the social Web. Already in limited release, the new application will allow Salesforce customer service agents to quickly search topics and create cases from Get Satisfaction, from a single point.

Designed to improve online customer service and business velocity, the integrated application will be launched at the upcoming Salesforce Dreamforce conference this November in San Francisco. A free demo will be made available for Salesforce customers to test the application's merits for themselves.

CustomWare supports Atlassian in raising money for charity

Following the success of Atlassian's "stimulus package", which offered 5-user JIRA and Confluence licences for $5 USD, the team at Atlassian have decided to do it again. This time they're offering 10-user licences of all of their popular products (JIRA, Confluence, Greenhopper, Bamboo and Fisheye), and 50-user licences of Crowd - for $10 USD each. The good news is that the offer is not for a limited time - it's here to stay. This offer boasts the same level of functionality provided to enterprises at a fraction of the cost, and includes 12 months worth of software support and upgrades.

In addition to being a great bargain for such time-saving productivity tools, 100% of all sale proceeds are donated to the Not-for-Profit Charity Organization "Room to Read" - an organization which helps improve education and literacy in third world countries. Atlassian is also absorbing any incurred transaction costs in the sales process.

CustomWare has also moved to contribute to this fantastic cause, offering the Salesforce.com Connector for JIRA/Confluence and Sharepoint Connector for JIRA plugins at no cost for use with the starter licenses and to support the charity.
