This company has sent the wrong quantity, defective items, and there have been items missing in shipments.

The state that they will "refund" the money for missing and defective items, but have not.

They have lied and have terrible customer service. They pretend in emails to be concerned and care, but refuse to refund the money unless you close the dispute on PayPal. They could simply refund the money in the dispute, but they will not. See this email.

Photos were posted on their Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/Lazerpoint.page) with the complaint and they deleted the posts and tried to block this from being public. Therefore, it is now listed here, where they can not do anything about it.

See the photos below of the latest shipment of "4" bulbs that only contained one that was not even a complete unit. The insides were incomplete. (Photos Removed)

Here is the PayPal dispute log thus far:

11/3/2011 16:55 PDT - Buyer: The first shipment came and instead of TWO bulbs only ONE was inside the package. The second shipment arrived and instead of FOUR bulbs they said were shipped, only ONE was inside. This SINGLE bulb rattled, so I unscrewed the top only to find that the inside was incomplete. The wiring was not even hooked up. They keep emailing me saying that they would give me a refund on part of the order only if I closed my dispute. I am glad that I did not because of the second shipment issues. I have photos of the product, have retained the packaging and have the emails where they state they would only refund, if I closed the dispute. They have lied repeatedly and only want it closed so it looks like they did not do anything wrong. I want a refund of the full amount due to the lies, bad product and time I have had to waste dealing with this fraudulent company.

10/24/2011 19:25 PDT - Buyer: The seller is refusing to issue the refund as promised and the other items have not been recieved as promised. The tracking they present shows that the items have not shipped. A full refund less the one item received is due.

10/20/2011 18:42 PDT - Buyer: Your company stated that they would refund the LXB90X. I expect you to do that. This is your responsibility. Also the other (4) bulbs mentioned have NOT been received and even though you state they have shipped there is no tracking available. You can refund all of these items or I will escalate this to the next level with PayPal.

Issue: A verbal quote for prinitng was given and due to a "mistake" that they made, they refused to honor the quote that was given.

Result: Loss of time, loss of business, damage to reputation

Follow-up: Lisa, the owner, wanted to tell her "side" of the story. So you can listen to her now. You can experience first hand, her poor customer service skills.

Upon returning to the store, Lisa proceeded to shift the blame of the error in quoting (which she confirms was a quote) onto the person who asked for the quote, stating that "she" should have not asked for another quote. Excuse me? The document changed, therefore, the quote would change in some manner. Am I missing something here? Why wouldn't a person ask for another quote when something has changed?

Also, Lisa makes the outrageous comment that "losing you (me) as a customer, may be a blessing". What!? You may ask... "Did she actually say that?" Yes, she did. Listen for yourself. She then stated that they can not meet my demands? My demands are simple. If you give a quote, you honor it. If you are wrong, you take responsibility for being wrong. You do not shift the blame to the customer. You must do quality work and be professional. I guess she is right. This store and it's employees can NOT meet my demands, even though they are reasonable and expected from any business. Most importantly you treat your customers with respect, after all, they are why you are there in the first place... right?

I suggest that current and potential customers think twice before patronizing this business.

The corporate offices have begun to return my calls to discuss this store.

Date: May 8, 2011

We waited 13 minutes before we had to go up and ask for service.
Then it took 30 minutes for our food to arrive.
Then we had to ask for refills several times and waited forever for those.
We observed several other tables/customers getting upset as well for the service issues
and the food quality.
My bun was overcooked and crunchy, however, I was not about to wait another 1/2 hour for them
to make another one!
We were never brought our check, so I had to go up to the register and tell them.
The male manager yells across the restaurant to the server for our check.
I presented our coupons and still don't know if they were correctly rang up.
I asked for a receipt and the manager states he can give me one, but it won't show the discounts??!!
What is up with that? So he finally locates and gives me the original receipt.

I called the customer service line printed on the receipt and told them all about our
terrible experience. Hopefully, they will so something about this.

So they say "It's worth the wait!" We tend to disagree completely!

The District Manager called me and apologized for this experience.
He asked me if there was anything that I wanted to add to my posted experience
and he assured me that he was going to address this and that this was inexcusable.

Finally, someone who cares! Thank you Dollar General for your customer service!
Now let's see if it get's results.

The prices are right! Well at least on the shelf. After shopping and selecting our bargains, upon check out I noticed an item didn't ring up at the 25% OFF that the shelf tag stated. I spoke up and a clerk went back and checked. I was right and they corrected it. Sarah, the clerk, rang things up quickly so I didn't see how everything rang up. I went out to the car and checked my receipt. Low and behold TWO other items did not ring up correctly, so I went back in set my bag on the counter and walked back to the items and took photos of the price on the shelf. I returned to the counter (note that when we came back in there was NO ONE at the counters or even nearby) with my photos and told Sarah that two more items rang up incorrectly and showed her the photos. Her snippy response was "You didn't have to take photos! I would have just given it to you!" I explained that I took the photos because when the first item had ringed up incorrectly, another clerk had to go check. So I saved her some time. I'd like to say that this is not the first time this had happened. Dollar Generals are notorious for errors in shelf to register pricings. So if I were you, I'd check EVERYTHING to make sure it rings up correctly. The prices are not good if they charge you more than you thought you were paying!

On another note, there was an item in the much unorganized "clearance" side counter without any pricing. I took this item to the counter and asked what the price was. Sarah said $1.75. I asked her what the original price was and she said she couldn't tell! I told her that she could keep the item then, because there was no way for me to tell what kind of deal I was getting. She was not helpful in resolving this matter.

I did, however, get one great deal. There was a box of instant Cappuccino Mocha for $1 that rang up at .01! So I went back and got the rest of those!

Thanks Dollar General for the good prices. But please get your registers right and train your clerks to be a bit more helpful and polite!

Wow! I absolutely love this place. The food tastes great, the portions are heafty, the service is fast and friently. Thanks Jared, for the great service! He anticipated our needs, was polite and doing a great job. He was very busy with a lot of customers. The atmosphere is whimsical and fun. However, if you have issues with clowns you may feel a bit uncomfortable. Our kids always want to go to eat here and it's quite a family treat. If you are looking for some place to take the family, this is it!

Today I went to this store and wanted to return an item (PRTBLE MEDIA).

I was told that I would only get $8.28 back due to the use of My Extra Care bucks! The items itself cost $29.99.

I told them that I would take an in store credit and they refused saying that the "computer"

would not let them do any different.

1. A return could have been done WITH OUT a receipt and store credit issued (Money/Gift Card).

2. It could have been refunded in Extra Care bucks.

I know for a fact that Extra Care Bucks can be issued, I have seen it done before.

Any other retailer would have refunded it with at least a gift card.

This location should be able to figure out how to take care of their customers.

This is ridiculous! I used these coupons in good faith.

The cashier was Marge. She was very nice. She went to ask the manager on duty "Tina" who was of no help at all.

I know this could have been taken care of. Now I have to waste my time writing to you and will have to go back to the store where they should have had the sense to be able to make an educated decision and take care of their customer.

I am within my legal rights to return this item for a FULL refund, at least in store credit.

Finally, I called the number listed above and told them that I was going into the store and would be demanding that this issue be resolved. While I was on the phone with the representative, I told him that I did not appreciate the fact that they kept sending a generic email response. He informed me that they had disbanded their email department. This was an obvious reduction in Customer Service as well.

I did go immediately to the store. Evidently, someone finally stepped in and educated the employees.

I was given a full CASH refund.

On 02/3/2011 they finally responded with a voice mail. A woman, Brenda (I think she said), left a voice mail apology and supported my statement that the store could have issued a money card. She stated that she saw that I was issued a refund on 01/11/2010, which I did. She also stated that the she would have the district manager contact me within the next two business days. His name is Ronald McGinnis. He NEVER called or attempted to call me!

I called Brenda back and left her a voice mail. (1-866-222-9438 x 7704327) I let her know that Mr. McGinnis never called me and that I truly never expected him too after the experience that I had already had with their company. I have NEVER heard back.

Issues using legitimate coupons.

On my first ever visit to a Papa Murphy’s we had a coupon to use for a buy one get one free pizza that came from a coupon we purchased from a fundraiser. The store has a menu posted stating “NEW LOWER MENU PRICES”, so we proceed to order from the highlighted new menu. When we presented our coupon, we were told that we would have to order off of a different menu. A menu with HIGHER prices! They would not honor the coupon on the NEW MENU! When we complained to the corporate office we received this response from the local representative:

“Good afternoon Mark, I am writing in response to your complaint on mindshare about a coupon issue. We are not accepting coupons off of our value menu because it is a test menu and is special pricing. I am sorry that you are not happy with this. We are working hard on lower our prices so that every customer gets a great price anytime without a coupon. It is posted in the store that we are not accepting coupons off our specials menu. The coupon also has printed on it that it may not be used with any other offer. I'm sorry you feel like this is a bait and switch because it is in no way intended as that. We are just trying to make all our customers happy, which is very difficult to do. Thank you for your understanding. Kathy Cost”

Well, we don’t understand! Why won’t you honor a coupon on your NEW menu? That means you have an OLD menu and this one is valid. This is a bait and switch and is inexcusable. Special pricing means that it will end. There was no end date posted. It is the NEW pricing. Stop trying to cheat your customers and honor your published coupons. You also might want to take some lessons in proper customer service. I would not recommend a store where they would do this to their customers.

This situatin has been reported to several local TV/Radio stations and newspapers. Let's see what happens.

Where has the focus gone?

With today's economy the way it is, focus has shifted away from providing good customer service to surviving. This is especially true for some smaller locally owned businesses and franchises. Notice that I said SOME. Because there are those few that continue to provide great customer service all the time. We salute those few. However, to those who have decided to "ignore" concerns and complaints... this will not go unnoticed. We, as consumers, are why they are in business. Without us, they can't exist. Let's show them. Let's make a difference!
