Hello all:
It has been more than a year since I design any new patterns, mostly
because I injured my hand from all that crocheting I was doing to meet
the orders that I was receiving.

But finally I have a
new pattern available that was born due to necessity, you see, I used to
think that apple cozies were a little funny until I discovered how
useful they really are, they protect your fruit while it is in your
lunch bag, keeping it from bruising and dust free.

Is a very quick and easy project! They are great as gifts, especially for teachers!

They
are reusable, washable, Eco friendly and really protect your fruit
because unlike other cozies, this one is designed to cover your apple
almost completely. Make one for every day of the week!

The
finished cozy that you can crochet using my pattern can hold a 6 oz
apple inside, although it has some stretch in it, so maybe a slightly
bigger apple can fit too.

Hello all, this is my newest pattern: Textured Soap Savers.

Save money by making these soap savers for your home!
You
can put your silvers of soap inside and use every little piece; or you
can fit a regular bar of soap in them. These soap savers also help you
get a grip on your soap, so it does not jump out of your hand. And the
drawstring lets you hang it up to dry after each use.

They make a great lather and work wonderful in the shower to exfoliate and leave you with glowing skin.

All of them are very easy and quick to make; and also machine washable and very durable!
Sl st = slip stitch
Sc = single crochet
Hdc = half double crochet

Notes:
* The loop on your hook does not count as a stitch.
* Ch 1 at the beginning of rounds does not count as a stitch.

Now here is the pattern:
Ch 15

Round 1: sc in second chain from hook and in the next 12 chains, 3 sc in last chain.
Work opposite side of chain and sc in the next 12 sts, 2 sc in last stitch of this round. Join with a sl st. (30 sc)

Round 2: Ch 1, hdc in same stitch as ch 1, hdc in every stitch around. Join with a sl st. (30 hdc)

Round 3: Ch 1, sc in same stitch as ch 1, sc in every stitch around. (30 sc)

Rounds 4 and 6: Repeat instructions for round 2.

Rounds 5 and 7: Repeat instructions for round 3.

Optional round: If you have many cards to store, repeat round 3 one more time to keep the top edge of the cards covered.

Make the flap:
Row 8: Sl st on the next 5 sts, sc in the next 6 sts.

Row 9 and 10: Ch 1, turn, sc in same st as ch 1, sc in next 5 sts. (6 sc)

Row 11: (Buttonhole row) Ch 1, turn, sc in same st as ch 1, sc in next st, ch 2, skip 2 and sc in last 2 sts of this row. (4 sc, 2 skipped sts)

Rows 12 and 13: ch 1, sc in same st as ch 1, sc in every st across (6 sc).

Fasten off, weave in ends. Sew the button and enjoy!

Crochet this sleepy owl for yourself or a friend. You can make it to use as a book bag, a cute diaper bag, or just like a regular every day purse to carry your things in it. The wings of the owl also work like useful pockets.
The final bag measures approximately 14" wide and 16.5" tall.

The pattern is written in Standard American Terms and it is very easy to make; all you need is worsted weight yarn and hooks in sizes US-K and US-G.

The pattern is available in Ravelry.
Hello, this is my newest free pattern, 10 minute scrubber.

This little scrubber can also double as a soap saver and you can make it in a very short amount of time.
It only uses a small amount of yarn, and you can use whatever you have on hand, from cotton to bamboo or acrylic.
What is perfect about them is that when they get dirty, you can just throw them in the washing machine.

Materials:
A small amount of worsted weight yarn
Stitch markers
US K/10 - 6.5 mm crochet hook.

Notes:
* This pattern is written in American terms.
* Mark the beginning of each round with a stitch marker.
* The scrubber is worked in spiral, without joining at the end of each round.

Abbreviations:
Ch = chain
Sl st = slip stitch
Sc = single crochet
Hdc = half double crochet
Sk = skip
St = stitch

Ch 15
