Video: AMR therapy dogs graduate in Gulfport

The American Medical Response of Gulfport welcomed two cute new graduates to its staff today. Shelby and Tucker became certified therapy dogs earlier today. However, the road to certification has taken nearly two years. The AMR gets its puppies at the young age of six weeks old. At six months old, the dogs are tested to see if they qualify for Good Citizenship Certification. After the pups are deemed Good Citizens, they begin a series of evaluations and trainings for up to 18 months before they can officially become therapy dogs. AMR Deputy Chief Charles Wise tells News 25 about the impact therapy dogs have on AMR employees. "At the end of their shift they come in looking for Tucker. It's their comfort zone. That's where they go to relieve their stress at the time. And actually, you can tell when they've had a bad day because actually Tucker usually after he's been with some of those employees that have had a really bad day, when we go home he does nothing but sleep. He'll get in his spot and he'll go to sleep. The difference since the pandemic began, due to the pandemic and not knowing the CDC guidelines regarding the contraction of the disease to the dogs, it has been a limited basis. But the employees still do get to see him. They have to wash their hands, they have to sanitize their hands and everything else before they're able to see Tucker."

Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs are getting hot and heavy! While enjoying a date night out in L.A. the other day, the Twilight hunk and his gal were caught kissing during a sweet PDA moment. R.Pattz and Twigs were waiting outside The Comedy Store in West Hollywood with friends when they got close and locked lips. Both of the stars looked super cute and smiley as they kissed outside the hot spot while waiting to enter. At one point during their PDA, Pattinson sweetly held his lady's face in his hands. One eyewitness told E! News of the couple, "They looked so in love, especially Robert. He was like a puppy dog, [he] paid FKA so much attention all night."

Candy Apple is a really cute black lab puppy who is almost three months old. Candy and her four siblings were found as strays and the Humane Society took all five puppies in on October 6th. All of Candy's siblings have since been adopted and this little girl is ready to find her forever home. Candy is a little shy when meeting new people, but she warms up very quickly. She really loves being around other dogs and seems to be more comfortable with another dog close by. Like most puppies, she is playful, curious and a lot fun! The Humane Society will be closed to the public on Thanksgiving day, but the shelter will be open on Friday and sweet Candy will be there waiting to be adopted.

J.Law's puppy purchase went down yesterday. The gorgeous Oscar winner and her gal-pal found the pooch for sale online and picked it up at a private seller's home in Thousand Oaks, Calif., during the day Thursday.
