Octopus onigiri Bento

Nearly a month has passed since my last post^^;

A couple of octopuses! They're made of fried rice with ketchup onigiri.Tied their beaks(mouth? what do you say it in English?) , which made of red tiny sausage, with uncooked pasta.

カップルのたこさんたちです。ケチャップライスで作ってあります。赤ソーセージで作った口びる（？）は、パスタで留めてあります。

I leave bentos in a fridge whenever I have to go out without sons. They cook the bentos in a microwave by themselves when they eat it. My sons, 11yo and 12 yo, are growing up quickly!
子供たちをおいて出かけなくてはならないとき、冷蔵庫にお弁当を置いておきます。自分たちで温めて食べてくれるようになりました。11歳と12歳、楽になりました＾＾

This is a cake which I and sons made for christmas dinner.

Last night, Santa Craus visited to our house and left a lot of presents for them. So glad that I can see their face tearing the wrapping of the presents joyfully every year. We had a beautiful Christmas eve.

上野動物園に行く時に持っていったお弁当です。

カップとフタは合羽橋で購入しました。

Put 6 cups in a basket.

Quadruplet seals Bento. It's made of hanpen fish cake. If you can't get the hanpen fish cake, you can make it with quail egg.

四つ子のあざらしくんです。ハンペンで作りました。ハンペンが手に入らないときは、ウズラの卵でも作れます。

Chikuwa fish sausage bear bento

The bears are made of Chikuwa fish sausages.

Chikuwa is a Japanese tube-like fish sausage, it's made from fish surimi.

I put a sausege into the hole of chilkuwa, and it turns into bears.

ちくわで作ったくまちゃんです。

ちくわはチューブ状になった魚のソーセージのようなもので、

魚のすり身から出来ています。

そのちくわの穴にソーセージを入れて、

くまちゃんにしてみました。

Quail eggs are shaped by my hand to perfect circle. Then it's marinated to curry soup in a day.

Overcrowded!! Many pandas in a cup!　

Pandas are made of white choco-ball. (choco-ball is a Japanese chocolate sweets: チョコボール). I used chocolate condiment pencil to attach their head.

The materials/ingredients which are necessary to make those pandas are white choco-ball ( Japanese chocolate sweets), chocolate condiment pencil and toothpick.

I didn't use the chocolate sprays appearing in the first photo.

パンダがカップにぎゅうぎゅうです＾＾

チョコボールでパンダちゃんを作りました。チョコペンで体と胴をくっつけました。

材料は白いチョコボール、チョコペンとつまようじです。

（写真にあるチョコスプレーは使いませんでした＾＾；）

Carrot flowers are simmered with dashi-soup for 5 ~10 minutes.　Black one in the flower is uncookied black spaghetti. It hold the flowers on the onigiri.

人参のお花は出汁で5~10分ほど柔らかくなるまで煮てあります。お花の芯は調理前のパスタです。（ギャバンのブラックパスタ）パスタでお花がずれないように留めました。

They are made of tiny smoked cheese. Cut the top of cheese into V-shape and insert sliced cheese for ear to the top.
