Here is a way by which you can install burg bootloader in ubuntu ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin

Open up the terminal and type in the following commands

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:n-muench/burg
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install burg
sudo apt-get install burg-themes (if you want themes)
sudo burg-install “(hd0)”
sudo update-burg
sudo burg-emu (to select theme)

That’s it…:-)

when you visit the site the site gets cached by the browser

Steps:

1. open “developer console” in chrome

2. Navigate to network tab

3. Click on the header tab below..you can see the following code….

Request URL:http://www.desimartini.com/allaboutrajniV1/config.xml?1174093192
Request Method:GET
Status Code:200 OK

that means the website is sending GET requests to website. when the response is broken…it gets to know that we are not connected to internet and then the cached website acts accordingly

if you click any one of he config.xml file displayed at the right side of the network tab you can see

Here is a small tip to get the new look of youtube before the official release

Go to www.youtube.com

In firefox press “Ctrl+Shift+K” to open up web console

In chrome press “Ctrl+Shift+J” to open up the web console

Copy and paste the following code into the console and press enter

Reload the page. That’s it..you will be greeted with new youtube mssage.

Here is a way by which you can install burg bootloader in ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot

Open up the terminal and type in the following commands

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ingalex/super-boot-manager
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install burg

That’s it…while installing it will ask for selecting the hard-disk/partition for installing the burg.

Google, Gmail everything is changing.

To get the new look of gmail:

->Go to Mail Settings

->Click on themes tab

->Select Dense theme(last/2nd last one)

WebP is a new image format that provides lossy compression for photographic images.

Here i’m providing the way to convert a jpeg image to webp without any options.

Download the webp package(see below for link)

Extract the files of the package. I extracted it in home folder and renamed the folder to “webp”.

Go to the folder

$cd webp

Lets assume you have picture “cyber.jpg” in webp folder

Now lets convert “cyber.jpg” to “cyber.webp”

The following command converts it

$ ./cwebp cyber.jpg -o cyber.webp

Now you will have a file named “cyber.webp” in the webp folder

See the size of both pictures

Upload it to Picassa and see its working
