Android Secret Codes

2019-04-28T12:23:00.001+08:00

Your Android device holds a large amount of information about its hardware and system that an average user might find difficult to access. But if you know Android's secret codes, you can factory reset your device, find out its hidden camera information, instantly back up your precious data and much more.

Some 'secret' codes are Android system codes, and usually begin with an asterisk or a pound symbol/hashtag. These don't require you to be connected to a network to use them, since they're just for the Android system on your device. These codes are updated regularly as new versions of Android software are released, and some manufacturers have their own additional special codes.

To enter these codes just pull up the default dialer app and use your chubby fingers to press the correct buttons.

Panitikang Filipino

2019-03-24T10:12:00.002+08:00

8. Google Camera

Google Camera is available on play store, so why we have listed it here?

It is because when you install Google Camera on any device other than Nexus or Pixel line, you will not get HDR+ mode. This is because Google made this feature limited to their own devices for now.

Alamat ni Daragang Magayon (Magandang Dalaga)

2018-01-18T21:49:00.000+08:00

Noong unang panahon, may isang babaeng nagngangalang Daragang Magayon.

A server is a computer that provides services to clients and controls access to hardware, software and other resourcesA client is a computerthat request servicesfrom a server computer

On a client/server network, one computer act as a serverClient/Server that provides services and the other computers (client) on the network request services from the server. A server is a computer that controls access to the hardware, software and other resources on the network and provides a centralized storage area for program. A client is a computer that request services from a server computer. Peer-to-peer is a simple, inexpensive network thatPeer-to-Peer typically connects fewer than 10 computers. All computers in the network have equal capabilities to use the resources (hardware, software, data and file) available on the network. With peer-to-peer networks, there is no central server.

How to Stop Your Blogger Blog from Redirecting to Country-Specific Domains URLs

2017-10-31T21:24:00.001+08:00

As the Google have started redirecting the blogger blogs to country specific domain, many of blogger users are facing problems due to negative affect on Google juice (Bookmarked links, external links of your blogs) and social stats (like tweet countss, facebook shares and Google +1’s).

Google does country-specific redirection for selective censorship – that means they can easily censor or block a blog post, or other entire blog site, in one country but still serve that page in other geographic regions. Blog redirection only occurs if you are on a blogspot domain and not if your Blogger blog is on a custom domain.

Preventing SEO Impact in Search Engines with Canonical URL's
Well if you are wondering what these canonical urls are then it's nothing but a link specification in XML that states search engines and crawlers to consider only the top level domain that .com as the main site or source despite all the country specific redirections taking place on the site. To enable this feature on your site go to your Blogger Template → click Edit HTML → Now look for the <head> tag or use CTRL+F to find it and add the below code just below the <head> tag.

<link expr:href="data:blog.canonicalUrl" rel="canonical"/>

Go to your blog inside the Blogger Dashboard and choose Template. Then click the “Edit HTML” button followed by “Proceed.” Next, copy-paste the following code into the template after the tag.

<script type="text/javascript">
var blog = document.location.hostname.split(".");
if (blog[blog.length - 1] != "com") {
var ncr = "http://" + blog[0] + ".blogspot.com/ncr";
window.location.replace(ncr + document.location.pathname);
}
</script>

Click the Save Template button and now your Blogger Blog will always serve with the blogspot.com URL

After implementing the script go to your blogspot site and enjoy as now it serves you only the top level domain that is your .com blogspot site with all your social media activity kept intact at one place for better SEO signals. Avoid use of the script in case you have already moved your blogspot site to your own custom domain as now everything redirects to your custom domain.

Tips To Improve Your Typing Speed

2017-08-04T20:39:00.000+08:00

Typing speed is something that will improve over time and with practice. Typing is a skill that can be very awkward at first. Over time, one learns how to get more speed at typing and then will try to work on accuracy. However to get optimum typing speed and typing accuracy is the goal the typist seeks to achieve. Here are some pointers to help improve your typing speed.

Learn the correct position of fingers in the keyboard
You can improve a lot if you stop using the "one finger method". We have five fingers in each hand, and they can be used to improve the speed of your typing. Several web sites have charts with the correct position for each hand, just use them and practice even a little each day.

Visit this site:
www.typingtraining.com

Learn to type without looking at the keyboard

This is first step to mastering the art of typing. You can start doing this after you learn the proper position of the fingers. Using this technique you will be able to concentrate on the result on the screen, and not in where your fingers are going. This can provide a great increase in you speed.

Yes, you should not see the keyboard while you type. You should have military level of discipline. Look at the screen or the source paper. After you are familiar with the finger placements you can try this. While riding bicycle, what will you see? The road or the pedals?

Avoid correcting mistakes immediately
One of the things that decrease your speed is the urge to fix typing problems as they happen. If you get used to continue typing even if you see some mistakes you will learn faster, because you will be in continuous practice. This will also decrease your error rate, because now you will be focused on doing it right, not on fixing your typos.

Try to type faster for small periods of time
A good exercise is to try to type at maximum speed during short periods of time, even if you have a few mistakes. The goal is to increase your response time, so that you can continue typing faster even after the exercise.

When you type faster, your hands start to adapt to that speed level with time. You will make a lot of mistakes at the beginning, because you are not trained to type at high speed. However, consider this just training for your hands. When you return to normal speeds, you will see that you have improved your accuracy and speed.

Conclusion
Typing fast and accurately is an important skill. Using these tips regularly, you will see that your speed will improve steadily. This skill will help you to be more productive and finish your work faster than you are currently doing.

Hope it helps...
