Firefox is my weapon of choice when it comes to browsing the web. It’s fast, free, and gives the user the best feature ever: Choice.The beauty of the Firefox extension is that it allows you to add a specific feature or function, fully customizing your browsing experience. For someone wanting to make the most of their online time, this is a huge opportunity. There are limitless ways to tailor your browsing with Firefox extensions.
Here are 25 of my favorite extensions that help me save time while online.

Autocopy – The name pretty much says it all. Instead of having to hit cmd+c (or ctrl + C for our Windows readers), every time you highlight text it automatically copies it to the clipboard. If you don’t want it on 100% of the time, you can toggle it on and off in the bottom-right of the browser.
Better Gmail – A must-have for any Gmail user. Maintained by the legendary Gina Trapani of Lifehacker, Better Gmail adds some killer features that would make any developer at Google scratch their head and wonder “Why didn’t I think of that?!”. Keyboard macros, saved searches, right-click preview views and integrate Google Reader to name a few. (The keyboard macros are enough of a reason to install this little filly, in my humble opinion.)
Better GReader – Another gem from Gina for Google Reader. Add feeds toGReader and bypass the default add page from Google, make the most of the reading area and take advantage of some great keyboard shortcuts, to name a few.
No Squint – Finding yourself going cross-eyed form leaning too close to the monitor? No Squint can fix it. Specify a percentage to show all text that’s larger than the default for your screen resolution. You can either make all sites a default size, or only specify a few with different font sizes.
Remember the Milk for Gmail – If you’re a fan of the todo list application Remember the Milk, you’ll love this extension. Fully mange your todo items inside of Gmail, instead of having to trek over to the RTM website every time you want to check off a task. You can also quickly assign emails as tasks. Very slick.
Shareaholic- An indispensable extension for those who do a lot of social bookmarking with digg, del.icio.us, twitter, or maintain a tumblelog. In one click you can share the page you’re on with the previously mentioned services (plus a few more) without spending any more time than you have to away from the article.
LeechBlock – If you’re feeling a little vulnerable to the addictive qualities of certain websites, use LeechBlock to literally force you from visiting them within a certain time period of the day. No joke. Not for the faint of heart, or those with problems with authority.
Read it later – Don’t have time to really focus on an article you’ve found? This extension will enable you to quickly save the page you’re browsing until you’re able to read it. Once you’re ready to read your saved articles, the extension will open the articles in new tabs with the click of a button.
Scrapbook – Much like the Read it Later extension, Scrapbook allows you to quickly save pages for later reading. However, it has a few more great features, like taking whole snippets of pages (like Google Notebook), searching within snippets, saving whole websites, and you can even organize the snippets like bookmarks. Perfect for researching or in-depth bookmarking.
Meetimer- Meetimer is a great way to get a handle on just how much time you’re spending on various sites around the web. You can group sites into categories (ie. facebook.com = “procrastination”), and track just how much
Copy Plain Text- The name pretty much says it all. If you do a lot of writing in WYSIWYG editors (blogging and other word processors), then this extension can come in pretty handy. Copy Plain Text will leave all the bolds, italics and other unwanted formatting when you copy and paste into text fields.
Ad Block Plus- For those obsessed with a zen-like minimalist approach to web browsing, this Ad Block Plus will surely keep you focused. Kill annoying banners and ads by simplying installing the extension and right-clicking the banner on the page. Once you’ve clicked the banner, you’ll never see it again as long as the extension is turned on.
Gmail Conversation Preview – A nifty little Greasemonkey script that allows you right-click and see the body of the email, without opening it. Simple and slick.
Invisibility cloak – Lifehacker’s solution to blank out certain time-wasting sites that kill productivity. This is a much smaller version of LeechBlock.
Add a second inbox to your Gmail account – Quickly and easily toggle between Gmail inboxes. Perfect for those with a business and personal email accounts at Gmail.
FEBE – On the surface, FEBE will quickly and easily backup your Firefoxextensions. But the fun doesn’t stop there. You can also sync multiple computers with the same Firefox extensions, and even set up automatic backups, ensuring that you’ll never lose your Firefox configurations again.
del.icio.us bookmarks – Save, search and share your Del.icio.us bookmarks easily inside of Firefox. Browsing your bookmarks is especially easy with the del.icio.us sidebar.
Googlepedia – I find this extension extremely valuable for getting a more holistic Google search. Googlepedia splits the Google search results in half and shows the relevant Wikipedia page for the search alongside the Google results.
Errorzilla Mod – This extension is pretty nifty for troubleshooting error pages that you might come across, giving you the Google Cache, Wayback Machine,Whois, and tons of other useful information about the site and page in question.
Pageaddict – Pageaddict simply shows your internet usage by website. It’s not as intrusive as Invisibility Cloak or LeechBlock, but it can provide a helpful look at where you really spend your time online.
urlfixer – I can’t tell you how many times I’ve typed in “gmail.cmo” to get a frustrating error page. Instead of having to perfectly type in every url, urlfixercan usually guess where you’re trying to go, and will send you there anyway.
Colorful Tabs – This extension is deceptively useful. Much like office file-folder tabs, colorful tabs gives a color to each tab opened in Firefox. Quickly find which tab you need without having to read it.
Faviconize Tab – Save some serious tab bar real estate with Faviconize tabs. With a simple right-click, you can shrink each tab to only the size of the favicon(16×16px), giving you much more room for open tabs.
Google Notebook- Google notebook is another bookmarking tool, except it can save whole excerpts from pages, images and links. Quickly save all parts of a page into an digital “notebook” for easily collecting. Not quite as nifty as the Scrapbook extension, but definitely a contender.
Dictionary Tooltip – A perfect companion for any writer. Just highlight any word and hit Ctrl + Shift + D to see the word’s definition, without having to open a new window

Yipee! It also means an increase in injuries. Yikes! According to The National Trauma Bank there is a greater number of trauma admissions in the middle of summer compared with the middle of winter.

An arm cast experience

A few weeks ago I broke my wrist. An ugly bone fracture but fortunately i did not need wrist surgery! Having to wear a cast, and sling really sucks. Everything from opening the door to put pants is infinitely more difficult. I dont want to tell you about the shower time. Then a s*** of a b*** is trying to play to the smart a** and dares to write "F*** you b***" in the plaster cast. This inspired me to look for designs to match what was written before I meet with the family for Christmas.

An the end I deleted the words leaving a stain remover ugly all around the cast. As you can imagine, the internet, Facebook, Twitter and many social networks gave me ideas to cover such an insult was nothing easy, nor pretty, but some made me grace.

Dressing up and Crutches? Doesn't sound like a match made in heaven. But who says you can't look good while on crutches? Find out what works and what doesn't as we answer some of your wardrobe questions.

What is the easiest way to get dressed?

If there's no one to lend a hand, lying down on the bed is the best way. Never try dressing up standing or while on crutches because you run the risk of falling down and doing your injured foot more damage.

Can I wear high-heeled shoes?

In terms of ability, you definitely can, but we discourage wearing one especially if you are using traditional underarm crutches. You need all the balance you can get, and the hard cast gives you added weight. So before you put on those high-heeled shoes consider the risk of twisting your good ankle or falling down on your injured leg. Not such a good thought after all.

Can I wear jeans?

Of course, as long as it is not too tight. You should be able to easily slide in your injured foot, and should be able to sit, bend, and walk around comfortably in it.

I'm going to a fancy dinner, should I wear a long gown or a short dress?

Either would be okay, but shorter dresses (think knee-length) work best. Avoid dressing up in floor length gowns as your crutches may snag on them which may either cause your gown to rip or worse, cause you to fall. Make sure to wear something with sleeves or add a cardigan to act as a buffer to avoid rubbing & irritating your skin from the contact of crutches. Better yet, loose the crutches and go in with an alternative device like the Hands Free Crutch or Knee Scooter, and just have a blast!

There's a beach party that I'm going to, what can I wear and how do I keep my balance on crutches?

You can wear what you would normally wear on the beach. If you are using underarm crutches, wear a t-shirt to avoid the rubbing. For the balance, you can get beach pads for your crutches. Be careful with sand going into your cast, and keep it dry. Traditional crutches are not really suitable for the beach. You can check out the Hands Free Crutch, as it works well with sand, and it elevates your foot so you don't get to rest your foot on the sand. It also frees up your two hands, so it's definitely worth looking into.

What can i wear during winter?

Best to wear something that'll keep you warm and is easy to slip on, like sweatshirts & sweatpants. You can get Toe Warmers for your injured leg to warm your toes up. Traditional crutches may be hard to use on snow and ice, try looking into other alternative devices.

What clothes would you recommend wearing for fancy occasions?

Choose tops that are not prone to wrinkles, and those that don't have loose or dipping necklines to avoid wardrobe disasters. (Crutches catch clothes, and could bunch them together.) Choose those that have sleeves or use a bolero or jacket over it. Choose a color that suits you, and a bottom that makes you comfortable and covers you even when you bend. Focus on your upper body to direct the eyes away from your cast. Wear comfortable, supportive, neutral colored shoes.

Hi folks...I am sharing an awesome post from Lucy's blog I got many many e-mails and messages asking about my disappearance. I didn’t want to tell the truth but, my photographer Nick finally convinced me to do.

It all happened about a month go when I was doing a photo shooting for my blog. The location was in a bathroom and the photo set title was “Lucy in the tub”. I know that many of you now are dying to se them but, unfortunally the wet floor caused that horrible accident. I simply broke my left ulna bone. The doctors said that it will take about 6 weeks to heal which means there still two weks left.
I know you all miss me and I miss you too guys so, lets just hope that I get well soon so I can get back to you sooner.

What are the reasons for my cast fascination?

I have a strong sexual attraction to, and erotic fascination with, the sight of the female leg wearing an orthopaedic cast, particularly along its full extent, from toes to hip. Now in my mid-forties, I have been aware of this ‘interest’ since my early teens, which might explain my particular attraction to plaster casts, as were the norm at such a time, which somehow seem heavier and more of a physical entity than contemporary casts.
For many years, I assumed this peculiar attraction to be mine alone, but, since the advent of the internet, I have become aware that a number of like-minded souls exist, that the ‘cast fetish’ is out there in the world of cyberspace, and is practised recreationally in the real, everyday world by those who have the inclination & means to do so.
As the online aspect of this fetish has developed over recent years, I now find I am able to satisfy my visual needs through the large number of available images, of both medically- and recreationally-worn leg casts – I have obsessively built a large collection of pictures of women wearing leg casts, and frequently enjoy these.
I have always assumed that my obsession is based on the aesthetics of the leg wearing a cast, being related as it is to my general attraction to women’s legs, feet, toes, boots, etc – the leg cast is very much an ‘object of desire’ in its appearance and in the manner it objectifies the leg inside.
However, I wonder whether my ‘interest’ may have other underlying, hidden causes and inspirations?
I wonder this because I have never had occasion to wear a cast myself (and thus experienced the physical restrictions imposed by one), and neither has anyone with whom I might spend regular, extended periods of time, such as a family member or close friend, although I have often imagined that female friends might have to have a leg in plaster that I might be around them, or that I might meet & form a relationship with a woman in such a situation. – I have a very strong desire to be in the presence of a leg cast as it is being worn, that I might interact with it and the wearer, that I might experience the sexuality of such.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated, thank you.

I think you did answer yourself a bit there. You mention that the cast is a restriction and perhaps when you first became interested in this fetish, you put together the "restriction" with hiding your feelings and the turn-on/rush for the sexual act and not being caught?

Do you feel you could harm someone or anything like that? If so, I would definitely worry about that, but if you feel that nothing bad would ever become of it, I would just let it go as a fetish, and realize that many of us have different and odd things in our lives.
If you do feel it is a stressor, than seeing a therapist could be a good thing. If not, (I mean, if you feel it is not a stressor) than I would definitely not worry about it, unless, as we said, you are thinking about harming someone or something like that.

In order to understand your fetish, you could read up on fetishes in general. All I know is somehow when you were young this connection was made and it became an object of arousal. Think back to when it 1st happened and you may find the clue there. I think the attitude with fetishes is - as long as you're happy, it isn't interfering with your life or interfering with the happiness of your life partner - then it's fine What kind of women are you attracted to? Do you like it when the woman seems vulnerable? Do you need to use this fetish(pretend casts) during sex and are you fine without it too?

I think fetishes are very interesting and it always tickles me what fetishes people develop.
As long as you have perspective of it--i.e., as long as you realize it's just a fetish and don't let it take control of your mind-you're in the clear. I think lots of people have fetishes, they're just so common (big breast, thin legs, butts) that we don't recognize them as abnormal. Even guys with these traditional fetishes can compromise those fetishes if they meet someone special. They can also give them up by reminding themselves that if they focus exclusively on one superficial quality, they may be missing out on a lot more going on inside. You have that option too, even if your particular variety of fetish is more rare.

As to the source, I don't know. I'm generally skeptical of traditional psychological interpretations of these things. "Your mother did this, and the cast represents that, blah blah blah." I think those explanations are intellectual games and not reality. I can see one possible scenario where you saw a very attractive girl wearing a cast and from then on, were reminded of those same intense feelings of attraction the next time you saw a cast. Simple explanation. Side question: do you have any obsessive-compulsive tendencies? It would be consistent with the interpretation I offered.

I also think that lots of fetishes develop around the fact that something is peculiar, abnormal, socially unaccepted, and therefore forbidden. The forbidden quality is physically and sometimes sexually arousing. In that case, the root of the fetish just lies in the fact that something is perceived as odd. That's an alternative explanation for your fetish.
