How to Run PHP in Linux ( Ubuntu 13.04)

As we all know PHP is Most Popular Scripting Language, Facebook also developed in PHP, So, why can't Use and Learn Open Source Language in an Open Source Platform Linux.

Well, Before Installing PHP on your LINUX machine, you Need to Install First Apache2
to Install Apache2
Open the Terminal and type the following commands

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install apache2

When Apache Installation Completed Successfully you need to install PHP and PHP support for Apache2

To Install PHP and PHP support of Apache 2.0 on your Linux ( Ubuntu 13.04) .
Type This Command in the Terminal

sudo apt-get install php5 libapache2-mod-php5

Now, Open the Editor to Type your Code.

sudo gedit/var/www/adityaphp1.php

An Empty GEDIT Editor will Open , Type your Script

For Example :-

then save this file, Now to run this file open your Favourite Browser and Within the address bar type

Hello Everyone, today we will Learn about the Fork Bombing, Fork Bomb is a Denial of Service attack which replicates the CPU Process and Executes the copies of that process and makes system dump.

The Above Diagram Describe the Fork Bomb Architecture , it shows that a Process F is Decomposed into the Copy of F1 and F2, and these get Sub Replicated and this Process Continues until the System is Running.

To Execute the Fork Bomb on your Linux machine, open the terminal and Type these 13 characters

ipcalc and sipcalc command in Linux (Ubuntu 13.04)

IPCALC

IPCALC is used to calculate the sub-net under the Linux, it is used for retrieving the address information from the interface. IPCALC takes an IP address and net-mask calculates the resulting broadcast By giving a second net-mask you can design sub- and super networks It is also intended to be a teaching tool and presents the results as easy to understand binary values.

How to Install IPCALC ?

To install IPCALC open the terminal (ctrl+alt+t), then type this command

sudo apt-get install ipcalc

after the installation type ipcalc in the terminal to display its result.

SIPCALC

Sipcalc is also an ip subnet calculator consisting of two parts. A plain text based console version, and web (cgi) based counterpart. Sipcalc, in it’s simplest form takes an ip-address and a subnet mask on the command-line and outputs information about the subnet. Sipcalc has support for both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses.

How to Install SIPCALC

To install SIPCALC open the terminal , then type this command

Hello Everyone, As My Previous Post are from Linux so, In This Post I will continue to Linux itself, Today we will Learn Simple tip to Check File Size from the Linux terminal.

Well there are many ways by which we can check the file size under Terminal, but today we will learn about stat command. To know More about stat command.
Open the Terminal ( Press Alt + Ctrl + T)

type "man stat" without quotes to know more details

it will display the details of stat

Now, to Know the size of the file situated in any directory , First Change the path to the Directory at which the file is present, ex:- if the file is in desktop type cd /home/aditya/Desktop

then type ls to display the list of files in this directory.

Now,

type

stat -c %s filename.txt

the extension could be any depending on the file type.

example:-

use this command to read in simple way

ls -lah fw8ben.pdf | awk '{ print $5}'

Back to the Post:- To Send an Email to your Friend from the Ubuntu 13.04 Terminal Follow the Simple Steps.

Step 1:- Open The Terminal ( Press Ctrl + Alt + T )

Step 2: Install ssmtp by typing

sudo apt-get install ssmtp

Step 3: Edit the smpt config File

gksu gedit /etc/ssmtp/ssmtp.conf

Edit this in a root

Enable Restricted Extras in Ubuntu 13.04

Hello Everyone , Recently I Switched to Open Source Linux World and Closed all the windows that I used Till Now , But Its not that Easy to Use Linux as compared with Windows OS because it consists of Typical Commands.

I had installed Ubuntu 13.04 on my Dell Inspiron 3520 Laptop , but the Problem after installing is that I am not able to play Sound Because of Missing Plugins,

after Installing all the Plugins that are Required to Play Music Files, the problem Remains Unsolved, I called Dell Customer Care for the Solution But they aren't able to solve my problem they said that " Sorry Sir, We are unable to solve your Problem on Ubuntu Sound because our Engineers aren't trained With Ubuntu".

But Later on after Searching Whole Day for the Solution I found a Command that you can install Ubuntu Restricted Extras which are packages that are left of by default by Canonical because of legal and other reasons. Installing these extra packages will allow you to play MP3 and DVD files, enable Microsoft Core fonts, Flash Player plugin, and many more.

Below is the command to install the extra packages.

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras

Today We will Learn How to Enable/Disable Write Protection mode in SD memory card it can be easily done by following certain simple steps

Method 1 :- Check The Switch

SD Cards have a physical switch on the side of them which sets the write protection of the card. If the write protect switch is in the locked position, then it will not be possible to write to the card. It will, however, be possible to read the photographs from the card if they are already there.

Mini and Micro SD cards do not feature a switch, however, when they are placed in the SD card adaptor to fit into your computer, there is a lock switch. Some people mistakenly believe that this is to lock the card in position, however, this is actually a write protect switch. When using the adapter, you shouldn't touch the switch.

This is how it look like

Toggle the yellow switch to lock or unlock the card

Method 2 :-

In this method you need to open Command Prompt in Windows and in the cmd type the following commands.

1st :- diskpart

2nd:- list disk

3rd:- select disk 1 ( Your Memory card or Pendrive)

4th:- attributes disk clear readonly

Well It has been 11 Months So Far, I purchased my first domain www.cyberaditya.in , My blog Isn't gained lots of traffic, So most of you all can't call is successful blog, But I must Say its my successful Blog because it has traveled a hard Journey , Which is " Journey From Minor Dislexia.. to Cyberaditya"

I was born on 7th July 1993 in Small City of Madhya Pradesh called Marble City " Jabalpur" I started my Schooling Life in St. Aloysius School , You Might me thinking that what's strange in that ?

The Strange Factor is My Life Story is that its Filmy ( Sounds Similar with Taare Zameen Par ) . I suffered from an Disease called Minor Dyslexia whose definition according to wiki is

"A general term for disorders that involve difficulty in learning to read or interpret words, letters, and other symbols, but that do not..."

I dropped out from school when i was at 4th standard for its cure, all gets cleared and back to normal because of my Mom Counselled and taught me a lot to fight and win against dyslexia , Later I rejoined Aloysius at 5th Standard and this time I am an Below Average Student who suffers from Minor Dyslexia which causes me to learn something with time, I did't have Friends that time,

later on at 8th class I got the final victory against all the D - terror and -My Father Bought a Computer For me which was ( Core 2 Duo - Compac Presario) or Simply a Black Desktop for me at that time, It contains a Boring Wallpaper of Window xp which i don't like, Neither my Father Knows about computer or Neither any one from my family, I went to one of my freind House to ask him " How to Change Computer Wallpaper" and How to Play Road Rash Game on PC ?

all of them including my good friend Insulted me from their door and Said " Tujhe Wallpaper Change karte nahi aata " and all closed their door , I cried and came back to home. and tried to change the wallpaper by opening and Pressing all the keystrokes from the keyboard.

and that results to the system crash and My father Called the employee to format the computer , he formatted my PC and I Stuck to Watch it without ever getting my eyelids down to learn how he is formatting the PC, I even Learned and Mugged up the Serial Key of Window xp at that time which was " QBQFD-B3RKG-H3GGB-W9KTJ-QQH7W" ,

at the evening i went to my uncle home, and there he was formatting hiss laptop with XP , when i went there he was searching for the Serial Key of XP , I told them plz type "QBQFD-...." which i learned when My PC is formatted , he shocked to see that I knew the CD key even though i don't even know how to change wallpaper,

later on he taught me thee basics of computer such as creating a folder and using the internet ...

After Learning all the basics I joined the Coding Camp for 4 weeks and after attending the camp, i joined AFCEH , which probably most of the hackers didn't consider as an Hacking Course but this course is the turning point of my Life , I went there and I learn lots of things however i didn't learned and mastered Practical there, after attending that course I connected with Many Facebook Groups of Hacking, and also started my website called (hackeraditya.hpage.com ) which is a free domain site, in this site I use to update simple hacking post, however my site got hacked by the fb group called "Stealthers ", I got Shocked and Happy too .. because this will help me connect the real website hackers from which i can learn and Explore hacking knowledge ( Script Kidde) , I got my First Guru name " Manoj Beckham " he taught me the basics of website hacking such as IIS,DNN,SQLi and i use to hack some Non Indian websites and post them on the fb hacking grps, there i Got many contacts who are hackers..

What it helped me ?

It helped me to connect with thousands of IT Professionals ,

Helped me to Become Independent ( In Terms of Money )

Most of the People Didn't Focus on Security issue, they aren't serious from the fact that they are vulnerable to Internet hacks. I am Talking about the new age criminals called "Crackers" who can crack your PC and Steal all the data you have on your PC including your Browser Cookies which stores your Browser history and all the other important Secret Files and Documents that you Save on your Drive.

Your PC has many “ports” which are vulnerable to attack from a hacker. These ports are used to communicate internally with your monitor or printer or externally to the internet. For example, Port 25 is used for receiving incoming email and Port 80 is used to connect to the internet.

In addition you have a unique IP number which is assigned to your computer by your Internet Service Provide which is required for you to use the internet. This is how you send and receive information. It also serves as your computer’s “address”. The IP number looks like this – 106.185.21.243 .

If you have a broadband or DSL connection your IP address rarely changes which make your computer more vulnerable. If you connect to the internet via dial up then you typically are assigned a new IP address every time you log on, but this doesn’t been you are not vulnerable to attack!

Another issue is that with broadband connection you are likely to be on line for longer periods of time giving hackers more opportunity to attack you.

Hackers use “port scanning” software to hunt for for vulnerable computers with open ports using your computer’s IP address. They will then send malicious programs through these open ports onto your computer.

Another common way that hackers use to gain control of your computers is by sending out Trojan Viruses disguised as email attachments. Hackers typically send out these messages to 1000s of users with enticing headings and an attachment which they are hoping you will open. When the attachment is opened the virus loads itself onto your computer and allows the hacker to control your computer.

Hackers also bundle Trojan viruses into free downloads like screensavers which are commonly installed on home user’s machines. Illegal P2P networks also circulated large numbers of infected files.

Here are some steps you can take:

1) Make sure you are receiving a week or after being on line for a long period of time.

2) Install an anti virus program and keep the virus definitions up to date. Carry out a virus scan a least once a week.

3) Use a Spam Filter to stop dangerous email.

Further actions you can take:

Don’t open suspicious looking email messages especially if they have attachments.

Be careful what free software you download.

Remember to switch off your broadband connection if you are away from your computer for a long period of time.

Get into the habit of switching your computer and broadband connection off at night time. This is especially relevant for wireless network users.

Go through the following steps

If you are a dial up user then you use a modem either internal or external kind to get online. If you have an external modem then this tip is easy. If you look at the modem you’ll see lights on the front of it. When you’re doing anything on the net you’ll notice lights blinking that indicate that you are Sending Data, and Receiving

Data. Depending on how often the lights blink and how fast they blink gives a rough idea of how much activity is going on between your computer and the net. Here’s where a little perception comes into play. If you are

connected to the internet, and are just sitting by your system doing absolutely nothing, those lights have no business to be blinking rapidly. They will flash periodically indicating it’s checking it’s connectivity, however there should be no heavy data transfer of any kind if you are not doing anything on the net.

For Example: If you have your email program open and you are just sitting there reading your mail, you may notice that every 15 sometimes 20 mins that the lights will blink back and forth indicating it’s sending and receiving data. This is normal because chances are you have your email program configured to check

your mail every 20 mins. If by chance you notice the lights on your modem is blinking consistently for let’s say a period of 2mins non stop be extremely suspicious. If you have an internal modem, you will not be able to see the

lights on your modem, instead you can rely on the two tv looking icons at the bottom right corner of your screen near the clock. Any data being sent and received will be noticed by the blinking of the lights rapidly.

Now ,How do you know what’s going on?

Let’s do a short exercise.

• Click Start

• Go to Run (Click Run)

• Type Command

• Click OK

Once you have this screen type the following:

• Netstat –a

This command will give you a listing of everything your computer is communicating with online currently. The list you get will look something like this:

Create Popup Window message in C#

In Engineering i have a subject called C# ( pronounced as C Sharp ), one of my most favorite Subject.

Because it Involve coding and didn't contains any of the boring theory I alhways try to learn and explore new things in it and also try to create good apps with it, but most of the time it results in the faulty application and it result "system hang" :P

Getting the popup was easy, XAML provides us the <Popup> tag for doing just this. But it doesn’t really provide the built in ability to darken the background or even center the popup, so I had to take things a bit further.

The first thing you need to do, is start off with some XAML code on your page. We need to create a popup, and a rectangle, and of course we want the rectangle to be “behind” the popup, so we put it in first.

As you can see here, I have created a Rectangle that has a background color matching that of my application, and made it 30% transparent. I have also created a popup which contains a grid of the same color, with a light gray boarder, a text block to display my message, and a button that will close the popup. I also have a button on my page that will show the popup.

Now that I have my XAML in place, I need to create the code on the backside, which is actually pretty easy once you get the hang of it.
