BTS: The Making of Rhian’s Birthday Surprise

When you plan, you have that sense of control. But when life suddenly puts bumps on the road and things do not go as you have planned, you start to panic. And in that moment of panic, you are faced with the question “What now?”

The people on this version of the birthday surprise story never met before Rhian came into their lives. This is only an attempt at recreating what happened behind the scenes of the CybeRhians’ birthday surprise for our dear Rhian Ramos on Saturday, October 3, 2015.

Preparation of the Surprise
“We actually had a hard time parking Jo-an’s car. We circled the parking for like five times and then we split the group. It was around 7 o’clock and in the frenzy of finding everything we needed for the surprise,” shared Aubrey, one of the CybeRhians.

A group of eight members bought flowers, balloons and cupcakes at Market! Market! before going to McDo BGC, the meeting place. A number of things went wrong with the plan and negotiations with the purchases had to happen. For instance, there were no candles.

“There was only a 24-piece pack available, so we were still missing one candle for Rhian’s 25 cupcakes. There was an opened pack, so I asked the Kuya assisting us if we could get one for free. The Kuya said yes and we were like, ‘Yehey!’,” said Aubrey.

When the said team arrived at McDo BGC, some CybeRhians were already inside. While waiting for the instructions from the admins, they unpacked the things that will be used for the surprise. There were still things left to do such as fixing a ruined banner. It had to be fixed in the middle of the street. Everyone tried to dry the paint using fans but without success. It also took three people to carry the banner just to avoid ruining it. Then, the admins were contacted about how the group is going to surprise Rhian.

Arrival of the Birthday Girl
The situation before the birthday girl’s arrival was chaotic. Astonishingly, the disorganized group somehow got in position to surprise her. Rhian’s van parked in front of 7/11, where Bank Bar is hidden, and Rhian first saw Deah, another fellow member. The entire clan of about 25-30 miraculously fit in a small space, but a perfect blind spot from Rhian’s view. The moment Rhian took her eyes away from Deah to get her bag, the latter signaled for everyone to come out. Rhian was completely surprised to find cupcakes, balloons, flowers and a wet banner saying “HAPPY BIRTHDAY!”

The surprise for Rhian turned out to be a surprise for everyone! The misadventures, panic moments, and chaos led us strangers to becoming friends. For once upon a time, on October 3, 1990, Rhian Ramos’ shining star guided all of us to find each other to this present. On her birthday, Rhian Ramos continues to give us gifts: friendship, love, joy, and a family to belong to.

Naniniwala ako na minsan sa buhay natin tayo ay humanga o namangha sapagkat bawat isa sa atin ay may sariling personalidad at ilan sa mga bagay na bumubuo ng ating personalidad ay ang mga taong lubos nating hinahangaan at minsan pa sa sarili mo, unti unti ka nang binabago nito ng hindi mo namamalayan… mga bgay na hindi mo nagagawa noon mas magagawa mo na ngayon dahil na rin sa salitang "paghanga".

Sept 5 2015 - yung isang ordinaryong araw na ginawang napaka the best day sa "rastro fans" GLAIZA DE CASTRO at RHIAN RAMOS. Sino ang hindi mag mamahal sa mga taong katulad nila. Sa taglay na ganda at galing sa pag arte na kahit personal na buhay nila ay binabahagi na. Matagal nang hinintay ng lahat ang muli nilang pagsasama kahit ako sa sarili ko, ramdam ko ang pananabik na muli silang masilayan na nagpakilig sa teleseryeng "THE RICH MAN’S DAUGHTER" hatid nila’y saya na worth it naman ang paghanga mo sa knila.

Sa pagpasok ko ng venue malinis at maayos ito; halatang pinaghandaan. Yung hangin na nagmumula sa labas na kahit na nagbabadya ng pag ulan ay talaga namang kaaya-aya sa pakiramdam. Yung saliw ng musika na "Till its time" lakas maka throwback. Ang sarap sabayan ng kanta. Tamang picture taking habang hinihintay ang Rastro. Iba’t ibang emosyon ang ‘yong makikita at halatang excited ang lahat. Hindi mapigil ang sigawan sa pag dating ni Glaiza kasama ang pamilya nya at syempre mas malakas pa sa pagdating ni Rhian. Happy birthday na kanta ang bungad ni Glaiza na saya naman ang dulot na hatid sa fans at feeling ko hindi ako nag-iisa na sabihin ito na kahit straight ka ay kikiligin ka sa kaniling dalawa. Yun ang tunay na kahulugan ng "kennesyon." Sobrang benta ng mga salitang binibitawan nila sa isa’t isa - "sleep over moments" at "yakult" na pigil ang lahat dahil na rin sa emosyon na kanilang nakikita at ang "tigilan nyo ko, hahalikan ko kayong lahat" ni rhian (Rastro Feels). Sarap sumagwan! Isa ako sa mga nanalo ng cd ni Glaiza salamat sa "black nail polish" hahahaha… Matagal ko din hinintay na makapag pa-picture sa kanilang dalawa and then sa wakas at my kasama pang yakap hindi lang nila alam kng ano ang hatid na saya ng yakap na yun na akala ko hangang pangarap na lang.

Habang nagbubukas sila ng regalo tutok ang lahat. ‘Di bale ng hindi makakain ng maayos basta makakuha lang ng magandang imahe sa camera. Sa pagkanta ni Rhian, sobrang mapapahanga ka. Iba talaga ang taglay nyang ganda (dyosa) at sa pag birit naman ni Glaiza, ramdam mo na kaisa ka. Lahat ay gustong mag pa-picture kahit na nga limited na ung time ay gusto ng iba selfie pa, hay! Mahal kong Rastro Fans hindi ko masisi ang iba, sobrang napaka down to earth naman din nila na kahit na nga gusto nilang mapag bigyan lahat ay di kaya :) wag mag alala my next time pa. :)

Isang karangalan na sila’y makasama sa araw na ginawang "bday ng lahat" at ang mga Cyberhians na all out support ang pinakita bilang tanda ng pagmamahal kay rhian. Isa ako sa makakapagsabi na iba-iba man ang ating pamamaraan sa paghanga sa kanila pero iisa lng din ang ating layunin at yun ay ang maging masaya kasama ang Rastro.

Rastro Rebels Fans Day give me such a wonderful experience because I got to get close with RaStro. RFD was my first ever gathering fans day i attended. I thank Rastro for the opportunity. My feeling was mixed. I felt nervous and excited at the same time. I was asking myself if, is it real? am I really here? funny but I did asked.. I was curious also on how and what truly happens in a fans day. But when I met my Cyberhians family especially those I've been with.. I felt at home and it really helps. The excitement was superb when the Queen came, our beloved RHIAN, I was very very happy and it was bonus to see also Ms G. But honestly speaking, Q Rhian, pulled it off.. if not for her maybe, the event was not that lively. I felt her sincerity, her love, care, kindness, passion, simplicity and how real human being she was... Lastly, how professional our Queen. I felt she was tired but still she managed to deal with it and this added to my lists of admiration to her. Such a truly genuine person. Now, I believe I can truly say that I had made the right decision and I belong to the Cyberhians family. Again, thank you to the Rastro and congratulations in the successful event. Journey to the PAST: October 3, 2003 - ‘Twas a very special day for me because I met a kindred soul named PG. I was oblivious though, that somewhere, at that same time, someone very special was actually celebrating her birthday.

An unexpected PRESENT: Earlier this year, our birthday girl Rhian Ramos said YES to a project with little to no preparation, causing a ripple effect, as her portrayal of Jade Tanchingco in “The Rich Man’s Daughter” revealed a Personal TRUTH to yet again, the oblivious “me.” “THE TRUTH WILL CHANGE HER LIFE FOREVER. -TRMD”

Rewind to 7 Years ago: October 6, 2008: I got calls and texts from family and friends, greeting me a “Happy Birthday.”
No one knew where I was since the afternoon of Oct.5, so they all bombarded me with questions. I really didn’t mean to make anyone worry, so I told them I was safe, just waiting at the airport…

I was waiting for a miracle or some kind of feeling because... PG passed away August 31, 2008. We never met face to face, yet why do I feel cold and empty? We promised to meet on the Oct 5th so we could celebrate my birthday together on the 6th. I wanted to keep my promise, so I went and WAITED and HOPED being there would give me CLOSURE, but that feeling never came. This line from one of Rhian’s fave TV shows, Game of Thrones, is befitting: “WINTER is coming.”

So, for 7 years I’ve been angry, hurt, resentful, afraid, and guarded. Not letting anyone in, not letting my feelings out. Basically, I was FROZEN in TIME. Is it really that easy to let it go?

August 7, 2015 #TRMDFinale: I had an AHA! moment that had me feeling so blessed, so I started writing again and made a mental list turned bucket list/ birthday wish- to THANK each person who’s who helped me SEE and FIND the Me that God had always wanted me to BE.

When I booked my flight on Sept.4, 2015, I didn’t know exactly How, When, & Where I’d meet those people on my list. Sadly, I felt my heart break instead on Oct.3 when I made the decision to leave the #DreamsNeverEndConcert because I was afraid I won’t make it to Rhian’s surprise birthday party; only to realize… my 1 chance, I did miss!

I was Heartbroken because I was oblivious again to God’s plans; not knowing that on Oct.4, 2015 at 2:38 pm, God sent help through Cyberhian Jo-An. She told me, “go lng, magpakilala ka na…” So, despite all my fears and panicky feels, I went over to the #MeetPedro booth and spoke with Nadine. She was such an angel and called her sister over. And so it was, as God had planned, I finally met Rhian Ramos, the one who said YES to God’s plan and changed my life for the better. “She saved my life,” that was what I told Mommy Clara. As I was crying on her shoulder, she hugged me tight and I felt like I was coming back to life. Thank you for praying for me. So ‘twas on October 4 when a miracle happened! I met 3 wonderful people who were on my Thank You List. From being Hopeless, I am now Hopeful. A big Thanks to God’s Perfect Timing and to you, our Dearest Rhi Rhi… I hope with this story someone, somewhere, will also be blessed because on Oct. 3, 1990 God used a beautiful soul to save me. “God is never in a hurry, but He is always on TIME.”

I AM A PROUD SUPPORTER OF RHIAN RAMOS.

As a Chief Operating Officer of a fast growing engineering and construction company, I have no more time for extra curricular activities. My daily office routine was focused mainly on formulating efficiency and productivity methods, quality programs, customer service relationship, optimizing profit and training programs. At home, I was living a simple life like reading, watching foreign movies, and made sure that my seven dogs of different breeds eat on time, had vitamins and in good health.

Everything had changed in May 11, 2015.

When I watched Rhian and Glaiza in The Rich Man's Daughter, I was astonished with their acting capability. I could not believe that the effective portrayal of their respective roles could adequately give the audience an undeniable chemistry. The day-to-day episode always brought me to a new height of drama. I can somehow felt the role of Jade. I understand how it is to protect family reputation ahead of own happiness. Yes, I began following the said soap opera without realizing that I was already hooked into it; that I was already in love with the character of Jade.

I joined TRMD Rooftoppers forum in June 28, 2015. From there, I can openly expressed my thoughts about Rhian's effective portrayal of her role. The forum had introduced me to the amazing intelligent fandom who, liked me, were hooked by TRMD. I am really thankful to the people behind this show as I gained new friends who have the same interest as mine. I am thankful because, I have known Rhian in a deeper level.

I first watched Rhian in her fantaseries, Ilumina in 2010. I was then working overseas. The only diversion that I had that time, aside from strolling in the malls, was watching tv. In Ilumina, she already caught my attention. With my background in theatre acting coupled with my interest in Oscar's nominated movies, I knew somehow that Rhian had a potential to be a better actress. And I was right. She is now one of the treasured actresses in the Philippines and could be an icon if given the right projects and good promotion.

By following Rhian in her official Facebook page, Instagram and Twitter, I can already feel that she is already a part of my daily routine. For the first time in my life, while in the height of my own career, I had been an instant avid fan of a celebrity. Can I just conclude that this is how "the venom of a Rhian Ramos" works? Hahaha!

Reading articles and news about Rhian had even brought me to a new height of interest about her. Knowing how adorable she is made me hold on to this fandom. Her charisma is off the chart. She is funny and witty at the same time. I am so amazed on how generous she is to the fans by giving an update about her current projects and whereabouts. Her charity projects are a plus factor to make her more beautiful in the eyes of her fans. These are simple things that made her different from other artists. Her family and social status are not even in her head. She is a very down to earth person.

On September 11, 2015, I became an official member of Cyberhians. I know that it will slice up time from my responsibilities as a COO. But I know that this will spice up my life being a supporter of one Rhian Denise Ramos Howell.

To Rhian, happy #SilveRhian. Always remember that I am always and will always be here for you. I love you!

Dreaming of Meeting Rhian For The First Time

I am currently 21 years old. I am a college student and taking up Business Administration course. A girl with simple dreams...to finish my course and graduate and to have business of my own. Actually its not my first course choice dahil gusto ko talaga maging Interior Designer someday.

So there, here is my story about how I started liking Rhian and how I finally end up...still loving Rhian all this time. I was just watching a noontime show or drama at that particular time when a commercial just caught my attention, sabi ko..."Ang ganda naman niya, ano kayang pangalan niya?" That was the first time I saw her in TV and from that day lagi ko na inaabangan yung Jelly McTrio commercial until Captain Barbell happened. Then one time napanood ko yung Captain Barbell...I saw a very familiar face sabi ko "siya nga yun...yung sa commercial!". From there nalaman ko na yun pala pangalan niya. I started searching for her name sa Friendster but ganun naman talaga pag celebrity diba di mo talaga mahahanap real accounts nila and I ended up adding parodies... in short fake accounts. Tapos nauso ang twitter.. I figured out na andun daw mga artista kaya gumawa naman ako at nagbakasakaling hanapin nanaman si Ate Rhian dun, then I found "@whianwamos"... naghehesitate nga ko nung una kasi nadala na ko sa friendster pero as I have observed "this is it!" Naaddict tuloy ako sa twitter dahil sa kakastalk sa kanya...oops! :P

Hanggang sa pagkatapos ng Captain Barbell, sumunod ang mga iba pa niyang projects...minsan naalala ko pa nga, gumagamit pa ko ng TV na maliit yung nilalagyan ng batteries at kahit black and white basta mapanood ko Lupin dahil kay "Avril Legarda" okay na... I become a fan of Rhian not only because she's beautiful but she's really that kind and super kulit to the highest level. As in. I really love her sense of humor.. That's my first impression to her before at mas lalo kong napatunayan yun nung magkaroon ng The Rich Man's Daughter. Hindi ako nagkamali ng inidolize ko and I am very proud to say na fan ako ng nag iisang Rhian Ramos. As what my fellow cyber told me which I really agrees, "Total Package" si Ate Rhian. Beautiful inside and out. Nung mas makilala ko siya ngayon hindi lang based sa nakikita ko kung hindi based sa mga kwento na rin ng kapwa kong fan... "she's so darn worth it...". Isang napaka down-to-earth, napakamapagmahal, napakamatulungin...lahat na. I really love her. Napakacool niya talagang tao.

Noong din mga panahon na yun I am really looking for her fansclub pero di ko alam kung saan official website nila, nung nakita ko naman...nagdalawang isip ako. Bakit? Kasi alam kong #TeamBahay lang ako. Yes, PWD ako. Or Person-With-Disability. Alam ko kasi pag fansclub you have to be present as much as possible eh for some personal reasons alam ko di ako talaga makakasama sa events... until Jade Tanchingco pushed me to join in.. and really I am so happy and proud right now to be one of them. Kay tagal ko hinintay... love will really find a way. I am so envy with this girl na sinasabing look a like niya sa Wish Ko Lang.. Hanggang ngayon naaalala ko pa rin yung first encounter with Ate Rhi... sabi ko habang nanonood, "Buti pa siya nakabonding na niya si Ate Rhian Ramos...she's so lucky! Ako kailan kaya???"... During The Rich Man's Daughter airing Rastro Rebels happened, kaya ayun I joined in their FB group from there nainspire ako to join cyberhians... na talagang siguro, time na talaga. Destiny talaga ang nagtulak sakin. Saktong relate ako sa TRMD kaya ayan... akalain mo...yung taong minsan kong kinaadikan, siya rin kinaadikan ko ng sobra ulit ngayon it's been 9 years... at ngayon talagang tinodo ko na. I joined cyberhians to interact with people who has the same feels as I have... yung kaadikan namin kay Ate Rhian...at alam ko etong fans club namin ang makakatulong sakin na makita siya in person. I really wish to see her and bond with her.. gusto ko siya makaencounter sa mall, ilang beses na ko nakakapunta dun kung saan madalas siyang makita ng iba pero nahohopia ako. Pero wish ko lang, tulad ng ibang cyberhians na nakikita kong pinupuntahan niya sa bahay, isa rin ako sa makasama siya sa in my place together along with my fellow cyberhians. Kwentuhan, harutan...and more, I wish to experience the cyberhian world also

Matagal ko nang winiwish talagang magkakilala na rin kami kasi alam kong siya na talaga ang first and last kong idol wala nang iba... for keeps si Rhian Ramos I swear! :)

A big hiii to the most gorgeous girl in this whole world. Let me introduce myself, I am your international fan Karishma Dey (Kazz) from India. Gonna write my heart out today. As being from India, we hardly have knowledge and access to your country. But to my delight, as I was surfing net saw an episode from 'Rich Man's Daughter'. I must admit, the moment I saw you I found you really beautiful and sweet. Your acting is marvellous, I fell in love with everything you do. The way you smiled, cried, laughed just mesmerised me.

I tried to gather more information about you, when I gathered it, I just made up my mind that I wish to see this cutest girl. I really wanna see u, hug u. I have seen a part of your movie 'Silong', your acting seems to be scintillating. In India we don't have access to your movies in theatres, unlucky me, I have to wait till it is posted on YouTube.

With whatever I have seen you seem to be very down to earth and affectionate towards your fans. Seeing your humbleness towards your fans, I fell in love with you.

Rhian you are the most beautiful, gorgeous, intelligent and talented girl in this whole universe. I do check all your Twitter, Instagram and Facebook updates. Due to language barriers I find it difficult to understand the updates. But especially for you, I am trying to learn 'Tagalog' language. Cyberhians members and the admins are really helping me out with this.
I am very eager and excited to see you. As a person you are truly an angel. I will surely come to Manila just to see you.

My Journey to Rhian's Amazing World

Madali naman talagang humanga ang tao sa mga celebrities diba? Humahanga dahil sa “almost perfect” nilang mukha at katawan. Meron namang dahil sa talino at sense of humor. Yung iba dahil sa mga “God-given” talents nila.

Madali ko/natin sabihin na “fan ako ni ganito o ni ganyan kasi matalino, magaling umarte at maganda/gwapo”, pero may narealize ako simula nung humanga ako sa isang RHIAN RAMOS.
Tara! Ipapasilip ko sayo kung paano ko minahal, nirespeto, hinangaan at itinuring ang bukod tanging tao na hingaan ko ng ganito

Pilot episode pa lang ng TRMD, may “kennekshen” na akong naramdaman kay Rhian, at habang lumalakad ang kwento ng TRMD lalo akong humahanga sa kanya, at ito na ang nagtulak na sa akin para mag-research about her.

Nanood ako ng mga interviews, guestings at mga movies nya. I even started to tweet Pipi back then on how to join, although I’m really not decided yet, but more of super excited akong makilala pa si Rhian. Kasi habang dumadami yung napapanood, nababasa at nalalaman ko tungkol kay Rhian, mas lalo ko syang hinahangan talaga.

Pero lalong lumaki at tumibay ang paghanga, respeto at pagmamahal ko kay Master Rhian dahil sa ginawa nyang pagtayo at pagbangon, bagay na hindi madali sa mundong ginagalawan nya at sa batang edad nya. Dito ko talaga sya lubusang hinangaan at minahal, sa totoo lang guys, isa sya sa pinakamalaking inspirasyon ko kung bakit din ako nagkaroon ng lakas na makabangon nung mga panahong yun na tila babagsak na ang mundo ko. Nakita ko kay Rhian kahit di sya nagsasalita na “lahat ng pagbasak ay bahagi lang para mas makabwelo ka sa mas matatag na pagtindig at matibay na pagbangon”. Hindi lahat ng nadadapa ay talunan, kundi ang mga nadadapa at patuloy na tumatayo ang mga totoong panalo sa anumang labanan.

Alam ko na sa puso ko na talagang hinahangaan ko na si Rhian, pero sa point na to parang wala pa namang kakaiba diba? Parang normal pa din tong paghanga ko kay Rhian? Well akala ko din hanggang dun na lng pero……

Mali pala ako, alam mo kung bakit? Kasi nagawa ko ang mga bagay na hindi ko sukat akalaing magagawa ko sa buhay ko para sa isang artista, sa isang sikat na artista…..

First time kong sumadya sa isang “mallshow” sa lugar na never kong napuntahan at super layo sa location ko. Nung makarating ako sa MTC nung July 4, at nakita ko ang mga bundok sa paligid nito, seryoso pinagtatawanan ko at kinakakusap ko ang sarili ko, sabi ko habang nakangiti at nagpe-pretend akong may binabasa sa mobile ko ‘Cha, are you serious? Can you really believe na ginagawa mo to? Hahha” At ang mas nakakaloka dito, 10:11am pa lang andun na ako, imagine 5pm pa ang mallshow ha, grabe na diba?

That time, sabi ko gusto ko lang talagang makita si Rhian ng personal, kaya kahit 3-4 hours pa ang travel time ko “lampake” lang ang peg ko. Gusto ko lang talagang maramdaman kung totoo ba ung “kennekshen” na nararamdaman ko or baka mali lang ako.

Nung tinawag na sya ni Glaiza sa stage, I was like nodding while smiling, kasi guys nung makita ko sya nung moment na yun (kahit mga 12 meters layo ko sa kanya), iba ung kabog nung puso ko, something na solid kahit na malayo ako sa kanya, ung ramdam kong nakita ko na ung missing pieces dun sa puzzle na di ko ma-explain.

After that moment, mas lalo akong na-excite na maka-attend ng Fans Day nya, ang fear ko lang baka maubusan ako ng slot. So Monday after nung mallshow, nagdeposit na ako and I was really praying na sana maka-abot pa ko. Ang guess what? Muntik na ko sa cut-off haha! Got my confirmation today then kinabukasan close na, hahaha! So I guess it was really meant to be diba?

First time kong umattend ng fans day buong buhay ko hahaha! Pagpasok nya sa Lounge, I was like “Cha ito na oh, nasa harap mo na sya, grabe ka Rhian, bakit ang lakas ng kennekshen ko sayo” (mga 4 meters na lang layo ko that time).

Kulang na lang wag akong kumurap nung FD nya, coz I don’t want to miss a thing that time, kahit pag CR ayaw ko hahah kasi sayang eh mas gusto ko tingnan at pagmasdan si Rhian haha!

Habang nakikipag-usap sya sa amin nung FD, alam mo yung feeling na ‘Seryoso ka Rhian, barkada mo lang kami?” kasi sobrang walang ere, ang cool magkwento , higit sa lahat may sense sya kausap at very witty pa.

I felt her sincerity sa lahat ng pinakita nya at sinabi nya, ni hindi ko sya nakitang nagpahinga sa loob ng 3 hours na yun kasi sya ung nag-entertain sa amin all throughout the event. To think na medyo may sakit pa sya nun, but then kinanta nya lahat, at alam nyo ba, ang pinaka-cool sa lahat is the way sya makipag usap talaga sa amin, yung parang barkada lang, yun lang sya lagi ang Bangka hahaha! But ung pakiramdam na artista kaharap mo, never kong naramdaman kahit isang saglit (except syempre ung kaka-star struck nyang ganda).

First time akong nakalapit sa kanya nun, naalala mo ba yung pakiramdam na una mong nakita si Jollibbee? Yung parang ‘Waahhh! Nakaka-nerbyos na nakakakilig na ewan” hahaha! Di ko malilimutan kung pano nya ako binati ng “Hi!” grabe natulala ako, but di ko nalimutan makipag-shake hands sa kanya muna (ninja moves haha), tapos wala na akong nasabi, hahaha! Pagbaba ko ng stage, I was like “Heaven!!!” hahaha!

That same night, I paid my membership na, coz I can’t take another day na hindi ako nagpapa-member sa CybeRhians na super-duper organize, mababait, very accommodating! Gosh sobrang swerte ko nameet ko si Rhian at ang mga hunghangs!

I also attended SM Rosario mall show, dun ko unang na-meet ang mga hunghangs as official member, and it was really pretty cool. I remember na parang we know each other like we are sisters hehe. Actually di na ako nakipagsiksikan kay Rhian dun, masaya na ulit akong nakita ko sya sa malayo, although maaga ako dumating sa venue.

Then ito na ung pinakahihintay kong chance manood ng taping! Ito ung second time na nakita ko sya ng sobrang lapit, ung tipong isang dipa lang layo nya sa akin, grabe para akong bata, ung panga ko halos mamanhid na kakangiti. Ang sweet lang ni Rhian para labasin kami kahit na nasa trabaho pa sya, tapos ang pinaka the best dun ung speech nya sa huli. Although umuwi na ako ng 6pm at di ko naintay ung pagbalik nya, nung mapanood ko yun video nya, sobrang na-touch ako, to the point na may tumulong luha sa mga mata ko, sa sobrang saya.

Then I went to church that time, alam nyo ba kung anong narealize ko guys? Sobrang thankful ako kay God kasi sobrang ginabayan nya ako kahit sa pagpili ng taong iidolohin ko at mamahalin, sabi ko na lng sa prayers ko “Thank you po kasi grabe ung blessings na ibinigay mo sa akin, hindi sa maling idolo mo ko dinala, kundi sa isang tao na marunong magbalik ng pagmamahal, marunong tumanggap ng pagmamahal ng mga fans nya, marunong magpahalaga, at nagsisikap lagi na ipadama sa amin na sobrang mahal nya kami at na-aappreciate nya kami”.

Guys hindi ito simpleng paghanga lang, maaring sa iba oo ganun lang ka-simple, pero para sa akin at alam ko para sa inyo na nagbabasa din nito, isa itong “kennekshen” sa mga puso natin at kay Rhian. Ugnayan na parang pamilya, magkakapatid, barkada, parang calling na hinding hindi mo kayang talikuran at i-deny sarili mo.

Salamat Master Rhian for being a “reachable star” to all of us, sabi ko nga hinding hindi ko pinagsisisihan na sayo ko nagawa ang mga bagay na ito. At willing pa akong gawin ang ibang mga bagay para patuloy kang ipagtanggol, mahalin, irespeto at ipagmalaki.

Excited na akong masundan pa ang mga moments ko kasama ka at ang pamilya natin sa CybreRhians!

I will never forget the date September 18, 2015.

Because it is the date that One of my dream came true, I got to meet my Idol, The Amazingly Stunningly Gorgeous Woman Ms. Rhian Ramos. We met at Guylian chocolate shop in Circular Quay, Sydney Australia. And up to this moment I still can't believe that I did had coffee with Rhian Ramos.

She's such a wonderful person, intelligent, funny, witty and so grounded. Before the meeting, I was really anxious about meeting her, there's this thought in my head about what if she's not who she seems to be, what if she's not nice and what if she's not real. But, those questions got answered the minute I introduced my name to her, she is so real. She came with her boyfriend Jayson who I must say is such a great and a real gentleman and I was there with fellow CybeRhian Erica. The 4 of us had brunch together and also share some stories, we chat about the on going polls that time, that me along with my fellow CybeRhians keeps voting on to make sure that Rhian stays on top and win. We talk about how much Rhian loves TimTams and some of their planned activities while in Australia. We also talked about a little about foreign exchange and how it is good for us but bad for them how the exchange rate rose up that week😃.

She told us some detail of her upcoming bday party and how she wants it to be a time to just sort of hang out and have great time. She said it is her way of celebrating with the fans. Then, she told us how proud she is of the CybeRhians and the admins because they are very efficient, hard working and really trustworthy. She also ask us about what we do in Australia. She really listens to what we say and she really pays attention.

She absolutely have no trace of "Brat attitude" in her system. As we were walking on our way to the shopping centre, she told us about her collection of Coffee Mugs with the name of the country where it came from. There's a few other stories that was shared at that moment but if I wrote it all in here it might make you feel as if you were reading a novel.

But, seriously more than the information and stories that was shared I guess the most unforgettable about this meeting is the feeling, she never made us feel even for a millisecond that we are just fans, she gave us a hug like normal friends does. In fact the meeting actually felt like seeing an old friend, someone special that you haven't seen for a long time. And like seeing an old friend it gives you the feeling of extreme Happiness and that was what Rhian Ramos made me feel.

Even after the meeting it still puts a smile on my face whenever I recall the conversation that took place that day. And I am quite positive that it will always have that effect on me. And I hope that one day, I'll get lucky again and have another brunch with Ms. Rhian Denise Ramos Howell. "Happy Birthday Rhian, and Thank You so Much for being the person that you are😃" "I love you and more power!!!" God Bless Always!!!

First time kitang nakita noon sa Montalban Town Center. Hindi pa ako member noon pero nakipagsiksikan pa kami ng kuya ko, haa. Oo, kasama ko ang kuya ko at todo suporta sya sa mga ginagawa ko para sa'yo. Kung saan daw kasi ako masaya susuportahan nya daw ako; basta wag ko lang daw pababayaan ang pag-aaral ko. Tapos, nag-mall show ka for Silong at nasa Alabang ako noon, kaso hindi ako umabot sa Market-Market. Parang engeng ako nun sa sobrang lugi, parang natalo ako sa lotto; kung kaya nag-decide ako na pupunta talaga ako sa block screening. Grabe, sa sobrang excitement 1:30 p.m. pa lang nandoon na ako, haha. After ng block screening umuwi pa akong Batangas noong araw din na yun, haha. At sasama din ako sa race mo, kaso hindi na ako umabot kasi 2:30 a.m. na ako nakauwi. Pero worth it lahat ng ginawa ko para sa'yo. At kahit magkapatong-
patong pa ang eye-bags ko, okay lang. Hinding-hindi ako titigil; hanggat kaya ng schedule ko, okay sa'kin.

Meeting Rhian in Sydney

Background.

In the afternoon on the 17th of September the CybeRhians were told that Rhian would be in contact with the admins to meet up for coffee with those in Sydney. This announcement instantly made me excited as I reside in Sydney and this would be my chance to meet the one and only Rhian Ramos! So much later that evening Admin Rach notifies myself, and two other Australian CybeRhians that we can meet Rhian tomorrow in Circular Quay for coffee at 11am. With this knowledge it made it extremely difficult to sleep that night, but I managed and soon it was the next morning and the day I would meet Rhian.

The Day of: September 18th 2015

So I arrived at Circular Quay and eventually managed to meet up with the other CybeRhian; Kris who was also able to attend. We then waited while we communicated through admin Rach to Rhian about where to meet, which involved figuring out a suitable café to visit, and we eventually decided on the Guylian Chocolate café because we figured Rhian loves chocolate so why not go there?! And so we waited and looked around to find that then recently coloured red haired Rhian. Surprisingly a lot more red haired people were around then I expected, but then I saw a quick glance of someone who looked very familiar. However they walked past a pole and I was like I think that’s her, I saw the hair but maybe it isn’t them. And then they appeared again and it was her and Jason! In that moment it was like this is it! It’s really happening! So we went over and greeted them.

We then moved to the café where a lot of conversation proceeded to happen, which also meant we did not pay attention to the menus so after we were initially asked for our orders we actually looked at them and determined what to get. And we consequently learned that Rhian was definitely embracing being on holiday by having consumed quite a bit of chocolate already, and thus she would be sticking to the savoury meals at the café. We continued to chat a lot, and whilst this isn’t overly significant when we ordered, I had done mine quickly, but Rhian had not heard and so after Jason and she ordered and the waitress repeated our choices, she checked to make sure I had. Which I got to say really made me feel special despite it being a really mundane thing really.

So conversation during the lunch as it became (not just a coffee as I had expected), covered a range of topics. This really made it feel more than just a fan meet and not as though we had only met that same day. It was really relaxed and surreal to be talking about various subjects which to me showed a different side of Rhian which I had heard about and was now experiencing. Here are a few memorable and kind of unusual moments which stood out to me:

Discussing her fitness routine and how a balloon shaped Rhian may pop up at the concert on October 3rd. Can’t wait to see it! – haha but we all know she won’t be
Her desire to see giraffes in Australia which is possible at Taronga Zoo. And consequently we learnt how she wants to have a miniature pet giraffe which was very funny to hear. To imagine Rhian feeding this tiny giraffe leaves in her home is so ridiculous and yet really epitomizes what she is like.

More about her mug collection which included mugs from Starbucks of places she had visited. Hopefully she got one in Sydney which she did not yet have at that point. She also spoke on the phone to the other CybeRhian in Australia who couldn’t make it and even apologised to her about the late notice of it, further illustrating to me how open, generous and kind she is to her fans.

Another special moment to me was when once Rhian briefly said something in Tagalog, which she then proceeded to translate into English. What it was I now have forgotten, but I have to say Thank You, and she is an awesome translator!

The whole experience of meeting Rhian is one I will never forget. Even though little details will fade, the emotions I felt that whole day, and for several following, will always be remembered. The courteous manner in which she presented herself was great and confirmed to me her wonderful personality and willingness to meet fans. As gorgeous as she looks, especially in person, her character is what truly stood out to me and reaffirmed my decision to be a CybeRhian and to continue to support her in all her future endeavours. She is a person who has over a million followers and often has a busy schedule and yet was here spending some of her holiday time with fans. The fact that it was happening in Sydney, let alone with myself was completely unbelievable. However after meeting and getting to know her somewhat, I can now see why she would and it makes me incredibly grateful for what she did.

September 27,2015 (ate rhian's race at batangas) yung araw sa buhay ko na sobrang naging masaya ako para bang lahat ng masasayang event sa buhay ko napag sabay sabay na yung parang birthday ko tapos pasko at new year ganun naging kasaya ang araw ko nun dahil finally nakasama ko yung ibang member ng cyberhians at syempre si ate rhian sobrang cool nya plang tao yung tipong halos lahat ng ibabatong tanong sknya kayang kaya nyang sagutin at napaka natural nyang tao na hnd mo aakalaing ganun sya kasi syempre artista eh kala ko nung una lahat ng artista hnd mo malalapitan anytime eh.

Pero iba sya eh astig syang tao napaka ibang klase wala lng sakanya kahit anong amoy nyang haharap sayo/sainyo. kahit first time ka nyang makita kasi nya bago ka wala lng sakanya hnd na sya magttnong pa ng kung ano ano bsta all about her mahal ko kasi para sakin sobrang perfect creation na sya ni god her eyes her body bsta lahat sobrang ganda at cool nya pa wala nakong masasabi pa.

Kaya nga minsan napapaisip ako bakit may mga haters padin sya kung wala ka nmang makikitang kapintasan sa pagkatao nya? eh kaming mga nakakasama nya nga off cam walang nakikitang mali sakanya yung iba pa kaya? pero wala akong pake kung anong sasabihin ng iba as long as mas kilala ko si ate rhi kesa sakanila. nung unang kita ko sakanya grbe na starstruck ako sakanya yung tipong pag akyat nya nun ni hindi ako maka galaw sa kinatatayuan ko kasi as in grbe parang isang dyosang naglalakad papunta samin no words can explain my emotions that time, at dahil birthday nya gusto kong i wish for her is sana makamit nya lahat ng gusto nya sa buhay , magawa nya lahat ng gusto nya bsta kahit ano pa man yan andito lng ako to support and love her at gagawin ko ang lahat para maisangga sya sa lahat ng taong gustong manira sakanya.

Rayne's Story About Rhian

Hi,

I'll try to make this story short as possible.

I am Lorraine, you can call me Rayne. I decided to write this story to let Rhian know that she bridged the gap between me and my family that I haven't seen for 18 years. So, here it goes.

I am adopted. My adoptive parents were actually my Aunt and Uncle. I didn't know this until my adoptive mom died. My adoptive dad tried to hide the truth from me. I bet he was scared that I would know it and he's going to lose me. So, he decided to go to Davao and start a new life.

By the time I knew that I was adopted I was 10 years old. I still see my biological mom and my sister way back then. It was too awkward for me then that they were introducing me I am her daughter or sister. I guess my adoptive dad had an idea that they were trying to win me over. That's when he decided to go home to Davao.

We've lost contact for years. Just when Friendster started to be popular, I signed up. My ate, had this idea to search me in Friendster just in case I might have an account. Voila! She found me. When I saw her name, I knew what's going to be next. Meet ups a couple of times, but then I felt at that time, I felt I am not ready to face them like face to face. So then, they I stopped communicating with them. A lot of attempts to communicate with me and they even bargained that they would shoulder my plane tix so that I could come over and be with them. But then I declined. Even when my brother-in-law would have a shoot in Davao or in Bukidnon, I'm dodging him. I won't answer his calls, wont reply to his texts or even I will say I am somewhere far from him.

But when TRMD came, I go so hooked not with only with the story but with the Rhian. I came to know her more when she makes kulitan in twitter. She's so witty, coolet and this girl has a lot of sense. Not to mention she is so gorgeous. So, I decided to join the CybeRhians. And the final step, to come over here in Manila. I don't want to be just in TeamBahay.

So there, if not because of Rhian, I won't be able to see and be with them. I had regrets I hadn't done it sooner. However, as they say in God's perfect timing. And I thank Rhian for it. She's part of that perfect timing and I would forever be grateful.

It’s More Than Just A Triple Decker.

It’s more than just a triple decker.

I wouldn’t call it faith, I wouldn’t call it destiny and definitely I wouldn’t call it luck. I first met Rhian at an event in my province, I was able to get in due to a friend who is also included there. Rhian is just new in Showbiz but I already knew her, there I was able to take a photo with her and amazed at how tall she is, I said “Ang tangkad mo pala?!” and she replied “Haha, hindi po, kunwari lang po” and then we laughed and go on our ways. But that didn’t stop me from looking forward to her projects even if I’m not so into it. Besides she’s the only artist I had ever got a chance to take a photo with up to this day.

Then generally, life happens, as it always is. People come and important people go. I’m on the lowest point of my life when two people from 7 years ago came back in my life. One is my friend and the other one, Rhian Ramos. Although TRMD aired in May, I was able to watch it exactly 1 month later. I was so into that show that I never missed every airing after that. And of course help it trend, funny because my tweets started from 100 for 3 years then became 2000 in a span of 2 months.

Then an opportunity to see Rhian again at a mall show in Montalban paved the way. On that day, where skies are gray and the air is short of being fresh, I was there waiting. Never in my life have I tried to go on a Mall show just to see an artist, even my friends are quite shocked to know that. In that scorching heat, I was bathing in my own sweat and its like I just came from a 10 km run! but I never cared, all I want is to see Rhian. Then I got to share this to Rhian on her facebook page and got a reply, she said “Haha, I can imagine how going to your first mallshow could be a different and nerve-racking experience. Hope you enjoyed despite the disbelief of your friends  walang basagan hahaha”. What a joy! I was at a mall that day when I read it and I was jumping up and down and hugged the nearest person beside me! Fortunately that is a friend hahaha.

Social media makes me feel close to Rhian, through her tweets, instagram posts and even facebook video blogs. There I decided to be a proper fan, so I joined CybeRhians. If my life changed 360 degrees well it turned another 360 degrees the other way around in a span of 3 months! When the admins of CybeRhians asked us to create or post a question for Rhian to answer, well I was one of them. I was able to ask her when or when she is going to Sky Dive, I was so hyped that it was picked and she answered it, that I played that video over and over again, who knows how many! And its so timing because by that weekend I am going to see her again for a Meet and Greet of Rastro Rebels Official.

So I was there seating at the back with the CybeRhians, enjoying myself while Rhian and Glaiza are in front and talking to fans. I was also talking to my co-hunghangs when out of nowhere my name was called! So the fact that the people who will ask questions we’re preselected before it starts suddenly changed and I was picked! What’s going on in my head that time? “What am I going to ask!?” and a lot of curse words of course! You know the feeling of floating while walking towards them and thinking why the hell are you picked and got to ask in front of these people. Well that didn’t go too well, because the second I was there, I was not me! I’m not cool, I’m not relaxed and I’m blurting out words that I don’t even remember! All I remember is that Rhian standing up and hugging me, like it will calm me down, when actually made it worst, hahaha! Sorry Rhi. I returned to my seat like I was drained from head to foot. And do you think it stopped there!? No! hahaha! We were able to meet her before she left and she made beso that made me stunned again! But I said to myself, girl wake up! This is your chance to take a photo with her again! So I did!

I went back home accomplished and happy, like the world is suddenly bright again. Whenever I see her posts, I will smile at some corner, wherever I am (even malls!). But what can I do, I am hooked. Then another opportunity came to me, Rhian went to Subic for a shoot, so here I am, looking at the tweets about her and where she is last spotted. I even looked at the map and trace the few kilometers that is standing between us. So after how many hesitations, I made up my mind, I ask the Admins and go to Subic not knowing what will happen to me. What will I do? What will I say? Yes this is the third time, but I still don’t know how will I approach her. It’s driving me crazy and my nervousness is up to my throat. So I waited at the place where I’m suppose to meet her. The plan was, get in, take a pic, sign the mag and get out… Well that didn’t go according to plan.

Well as much as I want to elaborate what happened in Subic let’s just say that it’s one of the most unforgettable moments in my life. Never had I dreamed to talk to her (well, I dreamed but never intentionally) and know the Rhian that is not in front of camera. Everything she says and everything she does at that time is like burning a CD in my head, every detail that I needed to know about her, what she wants, what she likes and even a glimpse of her dreams. That time all I want is to make her relaxed after the tiring shoot she had all day. Everything that I want, I held back, even the fact that I might faint when I see her, I also successfully overcome hahaha! So every good thing must come to an end, we said good bye and went home happy again.

So do you think it stops there? You are wrong. I told you opportunity keeps coming my way. I decided to go to her mall shows for Silong, supposedly I want to do it on weekends but schedules did not permit, so my free day is Monday, my decision is so strong that I forgot that my car is coding that day!... Rhian had 3 mall shows, first stop is the Fisher Mall then San Lazaro and Fairview Terraces. I went to the 1st 2 shows but didn’t make it in Fairview, because the traffic was so heavy, I’m still on coding time and its raining that I might get tired and not make it back to the province. Plus there was an offer to me, that if opportunity permits at ABS, I might see her during her taping for A&A. But if its not meant to be, I will gladly go back home, since I already saw her. Or so I thought…

Not until I crossed the electronic bar of ABS did I assure myself that I will see Rhian. But just in case, I bought her favorite in McDonalds that I specifically ask from the kitchen. I was very excited to give it to her because during our talk in Subic this is the specific topic that stuck in my head. So there I was waiting for her, and when she finally arrived I handed the paper bag that contain the surprise from me, which I know, she knew what it contained but not exactly haha! So she opened the bag and take it out, she sensed that it was heavy, well its not the typical Fillet-o-Fish I tell you that.

She said “Bakit to mabigat?” she was smiling and hurriedly opened it, “Ay nako alam ko na to!” oh really? Hahaha, I thought. Then she was expecting it to be double decker Fillet-o-Fish just like the one in Thailand that she told me about. But no, because it is not my intention to only give two, when in fact that I made it three deck is because I noticed that she didn’t eat the bun. The other two fillets should represent the bun, but the kitchen crew did not follow my instructions and still added the bun, so it became triple decker. Then she thought that it’s only two, when she lift it up she saw three and she was so shocked and happy that she didn’t eat it until she could take a proper picture of it. I was glad that she liked it, that before we went home, she even thanked me for that, when I totally forgot about it.

The next day, when my life was back to normal and I was still under slept, bad mood, sored throat and my head is somewhat floating all morning. She tweeted about the Fillet-o-Fish and she even mentions my name. But what surprised me is that its her dream to have a triple decker Fillet-o-Fish, but I guess no one bothered to give it like that, I just want to make her happy. It became my eye opener, for a person like me, who always thought about what can make a special person happy and after 5 years still made me feel like I’m not enough and not introduced to people. But Rhian, I only gave her a burger, but she shout it out to her 1.3M followers, that’s how appreciated I felt, that’s how important it is to me. And that’s how important Rhian Ramos in my life.

The first time I heard about “Silong” I quickly dismissed it and for a number of reasons.
Reason 1: I don’t watch Tagalog movies. (Sorry, I had this preconceived idea that Tagalog movies are very predictable.)

Reason 2: I don’t really like thrillers. (Why would I want to scare myself? )

Reason 3: What could “Silong” possibly offer the audience that other films have not already shown?

So there’s that moment when you debate with yourself if it’s worth seeing or not...
then suddenly you find answers or the answers find you.

Answer 1: The very talented Ms. Rhian Ramos revealed that she was attracted to the role of Valerie because when she read the script it surprised her and it was a role she hasn’t done yet. (As a movie-lover, I feel exactly the same way. If I can predict the plot, then it’s not really worth my time.) So, taking Rhian’s word for it, I got my phone and set the date for September 16, 2015 to watch Silong... solo or not.

Answer 2: “The DEEPEST SCARS are the ones you CANNOT SEE.” I stumbled on a pic of the T-Shirts made by the CybeRhians (their dedication and love for Rhian) and this line in itself hit me to the core. #WoundedIntrovertAlert

Answer 3: #Self Discovery. As the story unfolds, I kept asking myself… was I Miguel? was I Valerie? My realizations, I’ll keep to myself. Ha Ha Ha!

Answer 4: Yes, there’s a #4 and #5! I got more than I paid for. ^___^
This was actually revealed to me when I was already inside the cinema. It was during a scene where Valerie was looking at herself in the mirror, dolled up in a blue dress.

Then I remembered a post by the equally talented Ms. Glaiza De Castro… it was a picture of THAT scene! Ms. Rhian Ramos as Valerie! #SelfDiscovery

Answer 5: Pinoy Pride. Let’s just say my respect for Filipino films & artists = REDUX!

“Interconnected lahat ng bagay sa mundo” that was what Glaiza said in an interview.
And if not for “The Rich Man’s Daughter” I would not even bother with Silong because “the cast” is also an important factor for me. I knew nothing about Ms.Rhian Ramos and as much as I love and respect Piolo Pascual after having closely seeing him on the set of Walang Kapalit, it was really Rhian who tugged my heart to watch it.

So it’s really true, never judge a book by its cover. Same goes with my movie preferences and life… note-to-self: take more risks.

As I said earlier, I don’t really watch thrillers, so I brought my “guardians”-- my LABrador and my ninja PANDA (RaStro Rebels, you know who these 2 cuties represent *winks* This was actually our first group date together.) *giggles* And as our lovely PANDA once said, it was so darn worth it!

Silong Takes Shelter in 120 Cinemas Nationwide

Silong (Shelter) opens today, September 16, 2015, in 120 cinemas nationwide distributed by Star Cinema. The romance thriller movie is directed by Jeffrey Hidalgo and Roy Sevilla Ho. It is produced by Black Maria Pictures and SQ Film Laboratories Inc.

The film stars our very own Rhian Ramos as Valerie, the wife of an abusive husband. Piolo Pascual is Miguel Cascarro, a widower doctor. The story revolves around these two characters finding shelter in each other. It takes place in one house where their relationship develops and things transpire. Both of them are trying to move on and heal from the past. However, the deepest scars are the ones you can’t see. The cast also includes Sam Shoaf as young Miguel, Angel Jacob as Miguel’s late wife, Guji Lorenzana as Gilbert, Miguel’s bestfriend, and Arnee Hidalgo-Shoaf as Miguel’s mother in the past.

The movie marks the first leading role in an independent film for Ramos. In an interview at the Silong special media screening, Pascual stated that she is one of the easiest he has worked with. He described her as a real trooper in the set because no complaints were heard from her. Ramos also shared that two days after the script was sent to her, she already wanted to do the film.

“Whenever celebrities or members of the production team say na Ay ibang Rhian yung makikita n’yo dito, I don’t think anyone believes that anymore, because it’s kind of like a used term,” said Ramos. “I was like, I guess the way I felt about it when I read it is the way they felt about it when they watched the film, which is kind of my goal.”

Silong is a product of team effort and collaboration of creative ideas. Even Ramos is one of the producers of the film. According to her, the team involved everyone in the entire process before doing any finalizations. There are a lot of unexpected scenes and twists to watch out for. The movie is not just a new and different experience for the actors but also a new material for the audience.
“One, we wanted to entertain. Two, we wanted to surprise people. And three, we just wanna give them something different,” said Ramos.

SIlong is graded B by the Cinema Evaluation Board. Don’t forget to watch it in theaters nationwide!

Wala pang bagong drama project ngayon si Rhian Ramos matapos siyang magbida sa GMA primetime series na The Rich Man’s Daughter.

Pero hindi naman nababakante ang Kapuso actress dahil abala siya ngayon sa promo ng lalabas nilang pelikula ni Piolo Pascual, ang Silong, na mapapanood sa mga sinehan simula September 16.

Ayon kay Rhian, sa exclusive interview sa kanya ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) sa premiere ng Heneral Luna noong Linggo, September 6, marami nang nakalatag na promotion schedule para sa kanilang pelikula.

Excited pa niyang sabi, “We have a lot of promotions planned already, guestings on both networks, mall shows, stuff like that.”

Binanggit din nito ang isa niyang show sa GMA News TV, ang Full Throttle.

KAPAMILYA GUEST. Posibleng tumuntong daw si Rhian sa bakuran ng ABS-CBN para mag-promote ng Silong.

“I’m gonna guest pa lang sa mga talk shows.”

Hindi raw problema ito sa GMA Network kung saan siya nakakontrata.

Paliwanag niya, “Ipinaalam lang naman… there’s proper permission for everything.

“The team of Silong and my management wrote to GMA.”

Kung sakali, first time ang napipintong pagbisita ni Rhian sa Kapamilya network. Ano ang feeling niya rito?

Nakangiting sabi ng aktres, “Okey naman, okey naman.

“I would probably be more nervous if Piolo wouldn’t be there.

“But he will naman, so I have a friend to depend on.”

Isa si Rhian sa mga nag-produce ng Silong pero wala raw siyang naranasang hirap sa aspetong ito.

Last August 14, 2015, isang star-studded celebrity screening ang ginanap sa CCP Main Theater na kung saan ito ay pinagbibidahan nina Rhian Ramos (Valerie) at Piolo Pascual (Miguel). Ngayon ito ay mapapanood na nationwide sa lahat ng sinehan. Yes! Mark your calendar and save the date - September 16, 2015.

Kwento ito ng dalawang taong higit na nangangailangan ng pagmamahal at pagkalinga ng isa't isa, si Miguel (Piolo) ay isang doctor na pilit inaahon ang sarili para sa kanyang mapait na karanasan sa pag-iwan ng kanyang ina at namayapang asawa. Si Valerie (Rhian) naman ay isang babaeng binubogbog ng sariling asawa na my tinatagong sekreto sa kanyang pagkatao. Sila ay pagtatagpuin ng pagkakataon para malaman ang natatagong sikreto ng "Silong".

IT’s August 18, 2015 – just a typical Tuesday – or so we thought. In the morning, CybeRhians Admins or Pipi as we call it has posted an announcement to the group.
[VADK TAPING] We were given the chance to visit VADK Taping today for limited people. First 10 to comment na lang po ang ipriority nten ah. Next time naman ung iba! PM na lang ang time and location sa mga makakasama. Thank You! – Admins
It was one notification that no CybeRhians would miss.
This is THE day when Rhian will be doing Vampire Ang Daddy Ko taping. This is THE day when RaStro – Rhian Ramos and Glaiza de Castro – will be in the same show again. So, it’s not a Typical day after all – not for CybeRhians and definitely not for the Rebels as well.
But you know what, in a CybeRhians’ mind – it is never a TYPICAL day when you will be with Rhian Ramos – Period. #Fact

2:00 PM – This is our call time on the set (Yas, parang kasali lang!). Most of us stayed outside of the studio, while some went inside to take some snaps for the BTS.
In between takes, Rhian always finds time to come out of the set and join the group. She would join the group conversation like one of us.

She would join group photos, and ‘photo-bomb’ on some as well.
And she would also happily join the short videos we take, make some weird dance or weird face, makes a “pabebe” wave and just be her usual self – “makulit”. The taping ended up at around 2AM the next day. At the end of the taping, Rhian called us out and asked us to join them inside to have a group photo!

There never was a dull moment even during wee hours in the morning when you’re with Rhian. She is just so full of energy!
I know I know – this is VADK taping so you might be looking for photos with Vava (Glaiza)! So here it is!

So guys, don’t miss to watch on Sunday – September 6 and 13 for Rhian’s VADK guesting. She will be playing Vivi, also a Vampire. No clues on her role though! Just watch and enjoy!

Jade Tanchingco (Rhian Ramos), she is the one and only daughter of

Gabriel Tanchingco (TJ Trinidad), who was married to
Pearl Sy - Tanchingco (Pauleen Luna). Jade’s grandparents are
Cecilia “Ama” Tanchingco (Gloria Romero) and
John “Angkong” Tanchingco (Tony Mabesa). Her best friend is
Sally Lim-Apolinario (Sheena Halili) and she had a boyfriend
David Limjoco (Luis Alandy).
Althea Guevarra (Glaiza De Castro) is a lipstick lesbian and a wedding coordinator. Her best friend is
Batchi Luna (Chynna Ortaleza) who has a family with
Abby Luna (Stephanie Sol) and her child is
Marinelle Luna (Kariz Espinosa).
Wila Mateo (Katrina Halili) is Althea’s Ex-Girlfriend. Althea had an ex-husband
Tommy Alvaro (Paolo Contis) and a son
Miggy Guevarra (Marc Justin Alvarez).

The Richman’s Daughter was the first lesbian-themed drama on television. It was the most provocative drama and was shown on GMA 7 Primetime from May 11 – August 7, 2015.

The story begun with the parents of Jade who at first were not accepted by Angkong because of a Chinese tradition. Amanda, Oscar’s wife, made everything for them to be accepted. Until one day, she found out that a baby girl is the key. She prayed for a daughter and it was heard. Their daughter then is Jade. They were welcomed again in the Tanchingco Family and all because of the lovely Jade.

After a trip in Europe, Jade went back to the Philippines for the wedding of her brother, Gabriel. On the wedding, she met Althea who was the wedding coordinator. On the next days after the wedding, they were able to have time to see each other and became friends. They go out for a movie and mall and they enjoyed each other’s company. They even give gifts to each other and talk to the phone for long hours.

Jade got now confused about David, her boyfriend and Althea. She is bothered so she talked to her parents. Oscar, her father was alarmed, he talked to David. All of a sudden, David proposed to Jade and immediately organized an engagement party.

When Althea knew the engagement of Jade, she was in tears. That was the time when she finally admitted what she feels about Jade.

The engagement party of Jade and David was cancelled. She went to Althea instead, whose father died. That time, she also told Althea what she feels.

Jade’s family was very mad at her. They said she was a big embarrassment to the family. Jade had no choice, even if she loved Althea, she still continued the engagement party and broke up with her.

The first person who knew about the preference of jade is her brother, Paul. Paul was mad at Jade, since she was the reason why he was hated by their family.

After the engagement party, David knew the relationship of Jade and Althea. He then called off the wedding. Tanchingco family was ashamed of what happened, so they punished Jade. Jade do not know what to do, she tried to commit suicide.

After the incident, Paul talked to Jade to go with Althea which she followed. She escaped from her family. They were together for days.

Not so long, Jade’s family knew about her whereabouts and her sexual preference which they cannot accept.

The Tanchingcos are powerful, they made all the possible ways to degrade Althea and broke the relationship of the two. But, they were not successful.

The family was embarrassed about the truth on Jade’s part. Aside from Jade being a lesbian and Paul being a gay, their eldest Gabriel also said he didn’t love Pearl and wanted an annulment.

After all these challenges, Jade and Althea are still strong. They thought of ways on how they can solve the problem. Jade had an idea of pretending to marry a man. She thought after that, they won’t have any problem anymore.

Hence, the man Jade asked to pretend was the ex-husband of Althea. She did not know anything about it. Althea was afraid to tell the truth. Nevertheless, Jade knew about it by her father. She got mad and broke up with Althea.

Jade stayed to Sally first. After few days, Jade really loves Althea. She forgave her immediately.

On the other side, Abby went home from Dubai to her love Batchi and her daughter, Marinelle.

David went back from the U.S, he knew everything Jade and Althea had to, and so he volunteered to be his professed husband.

Althea and Jade agreed to it. They also asked David to lend them some money so that Althea can get her son, Miggy from Tommy.

Althea got Miggy and said goodbye to Jade because they will do the plan. Without the knowledge of Jade, her father Oscar and David allied to make her go away from Althea.

David and Jade got married but they are still seeing Althea because it was the condition agreed upon.

Jade together with her parents and David went to U.S for a honeymoon. Before going, Oscar used Tommy and Miggy and talked to Althea that if she wants her son back she must first break up with Jade which she did. But, Oscar did not do as agreed. He even flogged her. Althea was emotionally depressed that see needed to see a doctor.

Wila and Batchi were there for her. They took care of her. Wila still love her, so she took advantage of it. Hence, Batchi got busy and Abby was getting mad.

By the way, Abby and Batchi met the biological father of Marinelle. His name is Lester. It made Abby realized that she wanted to be a mother and set aside his own needs and she left Batchi.

From U.S, they went back to the Philippines because of the sudden death of Angkong.

When they were home, Jade looked for Althea but she cannot find her nor contact her. She gave up finding Althea until she found out the allied plan of her father and David. She knew all the things they did to Althea through Batchi.

After the burial of Angkong, Pearl said that she would annul her marriage to Gabriel after she knew he would have a child from another girl. She is Angeline San Jose (Charee Pineda).

Jade did everything to find Althea but she did not. Althea is now with Miggy in a new home. She was having night outs with Wila and Batchi who was problematic also.

Sally and Paul become closer. They became the best of friends. Unfortunately, Sally fell in love with him but Paul only wants her to be a friend. When they were drunk Sally took advantage of him and something happened to them. Oscar knew about it and assured Sally that Paul will marry her.

Paul did not agree with this idea. So, he committed suicide. He died.

The family mourned deeply.

In the wake of Paul, Jade and Althea were finally able to talk. It was a heartbreaking talk; it was painful for both them that they were not yet able to be together.

After the burial of Paul, Jade with Amanda & Gabriel decided to leave Oscar for a while to think about their life.

Sally helped them and lived in their house for a while.

Gabriel also talked to Pearl. He found out that they will be having a child. Pearl forgave Gabriel and live together with their son.

Jade made a foundation dedicated to Paul.

After these they went back to the Tanchingco house with Oscar who changed for the better.

Jade looked for Althea. She asked Wila and Batchi, who were now couples but they did not say it.

Unluckily, she found her with her new love Kathleen (Solenn Heusaff). Jade decided to move on and accept the truth.

After that, there was a rally on LGBT Community. In there, Althea and Jade saw each other. Jade was ready and proud of her sexuality while Althea is free to love her. In the end, they are still meant for each other.

The Rich Man’s Daughter was just a proof that whatever happens, definitely LOVE WINS.
