Apologies for the years break in Blogging!!! I think the excuse of another gorgeous little girly and Annabelle keeping me busy is enough to understand a spare ten minutes to do theses, are, well a bit like rocking horse droppings!!!

BUT HERE GOES..........................

So now as a mum of two gorgeous girls I can offically say I am shattered most of the time, but never too tired to enjoy the horses and training. I have made the decision to do more teaching and training going forward so I guess have entered the world of being a "professional" rider although I am more importantly a MUMMY!!!

All the horses are going really well, having just returned from the nationals where i had to WD from the last test due to felix being unlevel, I was preparing for the worst but luckily it is not serious and nothing an easy cople of weeks won't sort, although it makes me love this horse even more as he still managed three top ten placings in the other classes he was in with a tweak and unable to give me all he had.

I do have a new little (hopefully) future star on the yard, Felixs 1/2 sister from the same Dam but by Totilas, although only small at the moment I am hoping she will be a late developer a bit like her brother.

Bodyguard and I had our GP debut at sheepgate a few weeks ago and a PB at inter 2 as well. Although we opted to do the GP hc (just incase of a disaster on my part more than his!) but we didnt really need to with just under 65% i was over the moon with him.

Lara & Gary tie the knot

Lara Edwards (nee Dyson) married her long term boyfriend, Gary Edward in a ceremony at St James Church Grimsby, followed by a reception at her parents home in September 2015. Although you would think this would mean less competing upto and after the wedding, Lara was still seen out competing only three days before and less than a week after returning home from honeymoon, Lara gained her GB badge and was out competing in the CDI* at Le Mans, France.

Having spent a few days away at Rhetts training with Cadans, Bodyguard and Amigo I am now looking forward to the BD Northern Regionals next weeks, with Amigo in the Elementary open and Cadans and Bodyguard with be in the Advanced Medium Restricted and the Advanced Medium music.

Well I don't really know what to say, my stallions certainly don't disappoint. Yesterday I took them both to their first proper Advanced Debut in my new gorgeous tail coat. And they were amazing, Cadans was a little shellshocked by the small enclosed arena but still managed to pull off a 69.8% score inc a rider error ;-( whoops, but bodyguard stole the show coming out the winner above cadans in 2nd on a score of 70% with the feeling of so much more to come. EXCITED about these two doesn't even come close to how I feel after my weeks training at Rhett. Bring on those regionals in a few weeks.

Phoebe is very kindly riding our wonderful pony stallion Cyden Oosting Amigo at the regionals in the Elementary open as Lara has qualified him but feels far to large to be competing him! So Phoebe has stepped in. Last weekend she had two lessons on him with Rhett setting her up for Somerford next weekend. We all just sat in amazement at the pair, what a brilliantly talented rider Phoebe is, running through the test as though she has been riding him for years. Good luck to both of you at the reigonals.

Cyden Stallions had a fantastic performance at the Sheepgate Premier league with 16 tests in total over the four days both Cyden Cadans M and Cyden Bodyguard Moorland took it in tern to come 1st and 2nd to each other with scores over 74% in the advanced mediums. Setting Lara up well for the regionals in a few weeks with both boys.

Fantastic Friday competing for Cyden Bodyguard Moorland and Cyden Oosting amigo (rider Fiona Steel). Bodyguard started the day of well with a win in the Advanced Medium and collected the last few points to complete his qualification at this level and then went on to win the second advanced medium class too! As well as then making it a hat trick and qualifying for the regionals at Medium Freestyle too! Amigo wasn't going to let the side down with two fabulous wins and grabbed those last few needed points ready for the regionals at Bishop Burton in February.

So the Cyden Stallions are standing their own against some tough competition in Lincolnshire with qualifications for the regionals ;-

Cyden Cadans M - Medium Open, Advanced Medium Restricted, Medium Open Freestyle and Advanced Medium open freestyle.

Cyden Bodyguard Moorland - Medium Open, Advanced Medium Restricted and Medium Open Freestyle

And finally Cyden Oosting Amigo - Prelim.

Good job boys, bring on a winter of training training and a bit more training! Hopefully without any snow! ;-) Or we may have to up and move the boys for a few weeks!!

Cyden Dressage is very pleased to welcome Charlotte up to Lincolnshire (rather than me making the trip down to her) for a full two days of teaching at Cyden Dressage, Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd November and Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th December. These clinics are now full and we are all very much looking forward these days, lets hope the weather is good to us xxx

First Class (Freddie) - 3 yr old Stallion by Armani x San Remo has just arrived from Stal Brouwers for Lara Dyson to train and compete in next years 4 year old classes. With only a few rides under his belt he is already proving to be a fantastic boy to ride, train and deal with. Already hacking out like a pro and schooling like a ten year old. Lara's very excited about next years young horse classes with him.

Lara and everyone at Cyden Dressage would like to say a huge thank you to all friends and family for the support you have given in making 2012 such a successful year, starting with a win at the Area festival, then Advanced Medium Petplan National Title, the purchase of her amazing Stallion Cadans M through Find a Dressage Horse.com, setting up business with the Brouwers, to producing a young horse from just been backed to all 70%+ scores, the present of Cyden Amigo and finally a few weeks ago the arrival of x2 stunning three year old ponies - it has been one of the busiest, challenging but most exciting years to date. Next year however may just be the icing on the cake for Cyden Dressage and the team with no more outdoor riding!! Watch this space......... thank you to everyone involved in making 2012 so succesful.

Lara now has the ride on the fantastic Stallion (breeding KWPN approved and graded) Cyden Cadans M and will be contending the 5 yr old classes with him this year. He will be standing at stud later in the year keep your eye on the website for his location. He is a very balanced, well educated and polite stallion so this is an exceptionally exciting year for Lara, with the ride in the 5 yr old classes on him and also new owner, Bakers with the ride on the Dimaggion son, Keystone Dimaggico in the 4 yr old classes.

Two new "Cyden" horses arrive safely from Germany

Cyden Chess and Cyden Cabanza are now settling in well at Cyden Dressage. Both horses made the journey over from Germany last week and are currently out enjoying some well needed grass and nutrition!! Needless to say both arrived a little poor so are having the winter in lush grass and will come back onto the yard and ready for break in around next spring.

Lara is concentrating on Training over the Winter now with all Cyden Horses. She had many weekend and between Christmas and New Year planned at the Eilbergs to concentrate on Cyden Perplex's training ahead of the Winter Regionals in March.
