Raven Relik & Anna Setib are going through what they consider to be the most important years of their lives....High School!!! Not only do they deal with everyday problems of most seventeen year old girls, they are also under constant pressures of maintaining and achieving a certain status & reputation among their peers. To make matter worse, both girls have recently been "talked" into getting BRACES!! Realizing braces are a sure way to destroy their popularity among fellow students, the girls go and visit an Orthodontist to see about concealing their new and unwanted dental jewelry. Constantly seeking validation, Raven & Anna will do anything to make sure that they are liked by everyone. But they are about to make more of an impression on the folks of Canales, FL and Greene High School than even they ever imagined!!

Spine Tingling!! Mesmerizing!

Jest….it waits no longer starts out as an innocuous story about a sick old man and a group of college kids looking for their trip of a lifetime. Disneyworld would have been a much better choice…….

David Warren definitely has a talent for spinning a sweet little tale into a spine-tingling thriller. His writing keeps the reader mesmerized in the activities going on at Bodlum Castle—putting the book down is next to impossible. I had no idea when I started Jest that I would rush through my life just so I could get back to the book. I made up excuses so I could sit down and turn some pages, especially near the end.

Reading is my passion so I have read a ton of thrillers and most of the time I have either an idea who the killer is or can eliminate “suspects”. I thought I had the killer all figured out in Jest—all the way to the last 10 pages. Needless to say I was completely shocked when the real killer, and the reasons for the killings, was revealed. When I finally put the book down, I had to sit for a minute just to take it all in!

This book undeniably rates 5 out of 5 stars. Mr Warren is an author to watch—he is certainly an up-and-comer in the literary world. I, for one, can’t wait for the second book in the series Jest 2: Welcome Home.

About the film........

"Tormented" is a psycho-thriller trilogy based on the super natural obsession that the dark mystical character "Luke Pagan" holds for Amanda Stone. The live-action game of "moderated tag" that spread through college campuses via Facebook is now a feature length movie where a group of students attempt to discover the source of the "zombie" virus and save the world.

ABOUT THE FILM:
Students on summer break are exposed to a deadly virus, a neuroinvasive organism that is spread rapidly through direct human contact. The Infected are enslaved by the invading swarm intelligence and driven by an insatiable appetite to consume human flesh. Returning home, the infection spreads quickly to their fellow classmates and other unsuspecting townspeople. One by one, more and more fall victim to the plague, triggering an epidemic that spawns a horde of ravenous zombies.

The zombie horde grows and spreads throughout the community. Amidst the chaos, a campus security guard, obsessed with conspiracy theories, leads a group of students to safety as they and a small band of uninfected townspeople set out to find other human survivors in an attempt to discover the source of the "zombie" virus and save the world.
