Scheduled Deactivation of Fall 2011 Course Sites

Before noon on Thursday, February 16th, 2012, Fall 2011 course sites will become inactive automatically. This means that students will no longer have access to course sites for the Fall semester.

February 24th, 2012: D2L Purge/Archive

On Friday, February 24th, 2012, D2L course sites will undergo an archiving/purging process.

Course Materials & Design Elements from Fall and Winter session course sites older than two years will be moved from the main D2L system to an archival area. The semesters affected are:

Fall 2009 & Winter 2009/2010

Student data of Fall and Winter session course sites older than 2 years will NOT be archived; these data will be purged in February of each year. The semesters affected are:

Fall 2007 & Winter 2007/2008

6th, 2012, from 10:00 p.m. through 2:00 a.m. while UITS upgrades the
system's hardware in preparation for the Spring semester.

Beginning at approximately 6:15 p.m. on Monday, December 12th, users may have experienced slow performance when working in D2L.

D2L was completely unavailable from approximately 10:20 p.m. to 10:45 p.m. while UITS worked to resolve the issue. Service was completely restored by 10:45 p.m.
