Hi Jason,

Don't know if you have an answer already. I am quite new to DC SlideMenu as well.
I had some trouble changing the CSS-files too. It turned out they were write-protected.
Try change that with your FTP-software. You will find the three CSS-files in modules-mod_slidemenu_ddlevelfiles instead of the template_css you were looking in.

Hope this helps.

I created the blank.htm page that the script was searching for.

and placed it on the server.

Then adjusted the path in ddlevesmenu.js to point to its location.
Tip in ddlevesmenu.js search for: httpsiframesrc: "blank.htm". Change "blank.htm" with the name and path of your own "blank.htm" so the script can find it.

Tested it, it works in Firefox 3.0, Internet Explorer 7 & 8 and Chrome 2.0. At least until now I haven't seen any weird things on the pages, when viewing them through SSL connection. In the non secure connection the problem the problem doesn't exist at all.

Dart,

This did fix MY problem, but now the problem that you were actually referring to (The Arrows) vanishing is showing up to me. So see, now the menu isn't losing its styling as I was talking about, but now the arrows don't appear on any subsequent pages, only the front page. Oddly the menu still expands like it's supposed to, just not graphically. Because you mentioned SEF I again tried turning sef,sh404 and joomsef off. The problem exist irregardless. Thanks Dart for any suggestions.

Hi there again,

Is there any way to adjust the drop down delay of the Slide Menu?

What I want to achieve is when the mouse is over the parent object that there is a delay of a second before the submenu opens.

I know that there should be a variable somewhere in the java script but I couldn't find it?
Never had time to learn Java Script :-(

Thanks in advance.

Subject: How to adjust the widht of the secondary menus - by: zarro

Yep, indeed !

to adjust the width of the drop down menus you can adjust the ddlevelsmenu-base.css in modules -> mod_slidemenu. Search for .ddsubmenustyle li a.
you can use min-width, max-width, auto or a static value.

I hope that could help you solve some aesthetic issues with the menu.
