I'm not really big on blazers, not because I don't like their style but I always found it challenging to find one that fits me the way I like. But when I saw this one at Urban Outfitters from their "Classic Collection" line a while back, I couldn't resist all the tweed-ed shades of gray and it was the only one and a perfect fit! Yeah baby! Don't you love when that happens? The blistering hot weather in Kuwait has finally began to cool down so I've already started to whip out some of my fall goods.

I had a few meetings lined up this week and I glamoured up the usual black slacks and white collared shirt look with some nude bow-studded heels and a nude pink ruffle clutch to match. You can always make an ordinary outfit a bit more glamorous with the right heels and accessories.

Anyone living in Barcelona can tell you that you'll most likely meet more Brazilians there than Catalans so it was somewhat inevitable that I ended up having Brazilian friends as some of my closest there, one of which taught me one of Brazil's famous desserts, Brigadeiros! They are insanely easy to make, literally 20 minutes max and you can top them however way you wish. I used this recipe and rolled a few in icing sugar, a few in crushed flake chocolate bar and left the rest plain. Chocolatey Delicious-ness!

Summer days in Barcelona have been perfect for relaxing and tanning on the beach and summer nights have been ideal for barbecuing and chilling on rooftop terraces. With the heat getting too intense at times, I'm keeping cool in breezy pieces such as harem pants and flowy dresses. Hope your having a pleasant summer so far.
