Garland Trunk Rebanded

As of yesterday morning the Gardland Public Safety trunk has now rebanded. The frequencies that were above 865 Mhz are now all 15 Mhz lower. For a complete listing for all of the frequencies you can find it here. Also to be able to properly track this system you will have to put in add a custom band plan to the system. The information for the band plan, the scanners that support custom band plans and programs that are supported can be found here.

New FCC Licenses

I know I haven't done this in a while but there is 5 new FCC licenses for the DFW area this past week. The first one is Maxim Integrated Products on 6431 Longhorn Drive in Irving. They have been issued a 40 watts analog repeater on 461.5750 for their semiconductor manufacturing operations. The next one is for Mary Kay on 1330 Regal Row in Dallas. They have been issued analog 20 watt repeaters on 461.5500 and 464.3000 for their daily operations. The next new license is for Wellmark International on 12111 Ford Drive in Dallas. They have been issued a 10 watt analog repeater on 461.7250 for their pesticides manufacturing operations. The next new license is for the Crowley Independent School District on 2205 N Crowley-Cleburne Road in Crowley. They have been issued a 75 watts analog repeater on 155.1600 for their school buses operations. The last new license is for LyondellBasell Advanced Polyolefins on 100 South Mitchell Road in Mansfield. They have been issued 2 possible analog repeaters on 451.6125 and 451.6625 with 4 watts of power and 6 analog simplex frequencies on 451.4875, 451.5625, 451.6875, 451.7125, 452.0875 and 452.1875 all with 4 watts of power for their engineering firm operations.

There are three new FCC licenses that have been issued this week. The first one is for Lincoln Property Company at 2000 McKinney Avenue. They have been issued a 45 watt analog repeater on 463.7125 for their property management operations. The next new license is for Mizkan Americas at 4647 Bronze Way in Dallas. They have been issued 5 analog simplex frequencies on 457.6625, 457.8375, 467.3125, 467.4125, 467.5125 all with 2 watts of power for their manufacturing operations. The last new license is for the Western Company Of Texas at 3575 Lone Star Circle in Fort Worth. They have been issued a 60 watt analog simplex frequency on 43.1200 with 60 watts of power for their oil field service operations.

Irving Trunk Rebanded/New Test Trunk

For those who don't know yet, the Irving Public Safety trunk has now rebanded. The frequencies that were above 865 Mhz are now all 15 Mhz lower. For a complete listing for all of the LCNs with the co-responding frequency you can find it here.

Also there is a new VHF P25 Test trunk that has been reported to be active in the Irving area on the DFWscan Yahoogroup. I haven't been able to hear it here in Plano yet so I am not sure if it is still active or not. Here is the message details from the DFWscan posting about this new test trunk.

There's a P25 trunking system being tested in the DFW area for the past couple
of days.

WD2XHY is an experimental license to EF Johnson. Their location is in Irving,
near the airport. I think this solves some of the mystery systems people have
heard in the past with the WACN of 1 and SYSID of 7.

This week there is only one new FCC license added in the DFW area. The one and only new FCC license is for SemMaterials Energy Partners who are based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma but has a tower in Saginaw. They been licensed a 4 watt analog simplex frequency on 461.8500. Hopefully they are more new FCC licenses next week. I was thinking of maybe expanding my scope to more counties that are located outside of Dallas and Tarrant counties. I would like ya'll to email me and let me know if I should or shouldn't do this.

Plano East Marching Invitational

I have been hearing operations all morning for the Plano East Marching Invitational that is going on at John Clark Stadium in Plano. This event will going on all day long and ending very late tonight. So far I have been able to confirm the following frequencies that are in use for this event, 462.5500 PL 79.7, 462.6250 PL 82.5 and 462.7000 PL 85.4.

There is two new FCC license and one modified FCC license in the DFW this time around. The first new license is for the Denton Fresh Water District 1A on 688 Lady Of The Lake Blvd in Lewisville. They have been license a 40 watt analog/Mototrbo repeater on 464.4125. The last of the new FCC licenses is for Birchman Baptist Church on 9100 N Normandale in Fort Worth. They have been issued two 40 watt analog repeaters on 461.8875 & 462.0375. The one and only modified FCC license is for Watermark Community Church on 7540 LBJ Freeway in Dallas. They have been issued a 20 watt analog repeater on 463.5875.

There are 4 new FCC licenses and 2 changed FCC licenses in the DFW area for the past two weeks. The first new license is for Game Stop at 625 Westport Parkway in Grapevine. They have been issued a 45 watt analog repeater on 464.3625 for their operations. The next new license is for Carson Pirie Scott Holdings which is Saks 5th Avenue at 8040 Park Lane in Dallas. They have been issued 4 analog simplex frequencies on 467.8500, 467.8750, 467.9000 and 467.9250 all with 2 watts of power. The next new license is for Vaquero Club on 2300 Vaquero Club Drive in Westlake. They have been issued a 45 watts analog repeater on 461.2250 for their operations. The last new license is for SPR Packaging on 1480 Justin Road in Rockwall. They have been issued 5 analog simplex frequencies on 452.4125, 452.4625, 452.7875, 452.8375 and 452.8625 all with 4 watts of power.

The first modified license is for Farmers Electric Cooperative on 980 Sids Road in Rockwall. They have added 152.9150/158.2200 to this site as a 100 watt analog and Mototrbo repeater. The last modified license is for the Village At Allen on 190 East Stacey Road in Allen. There are four new FCC licenses this time around and I am pleased to say that all of these licenses are analog. The first new license is for Victory Plaza Buildings on 3090 Olive Street in Dallas. They have been licensed a 45 watts repeater on 461.6875 for their operations. The next new license is for the Allen Independent School District on 300 Rivercrest Blvd which is Allen High School in Allen. This site has been issued a 50 watt repeater on 461.6125. There is an additional site at 601 East Main Street in Allen that has been licensed a 50 watt repeater on 463.8875. The next license is for the Courtyard Dallas Allen at the John Q.
