It was a silencing and eye-opening question for me.&lt;br /&gt;

After what felt like an hour, she spoke 20 seconds later to share how she had
been observing me for years.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
She said she had observed how I was always there to help out family and friends
with what they needed, but she questioned who I reached out to when I needed
help.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I paused for some time before she and I both responded – “NOBODY!”&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
After a few moments, I realized that wasn’t totally true.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Sure, I seldomly reached out to others for help.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
But on the rare occasions when I did, I reached out to a select group of people
who I knew I could truly count on and trust to help me.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
She was one of those people.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Not only did she support me with what I needed, she encouraged me, cheered for
me, and challenged me to become who I am today…&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
A career coach for busy professionals!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I take a moment of pause to say “THANK YOU” to my dear friend.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I thank her for reminding me not to go it alone, to reach out for assistance,
