Jen and I had a great time at AnaCon 2026! It was our first time at the event, and we both agreed it’s one to try to attend moving forward. The Anaheim Central Library is a beautiful place, and the staff is terrific.

If you’re in or near the Anaheim area, you should check it out. Their 10th anniversary AnaCon is scheduled for Apr 24, 2027, and we hope to be there…!

The Last Bookstore Studio City Comic Book Weekend Fun

Fun was had hanging out at The Last Bookstore Studio City’s Comic Book Weekend for a couple hours on Saturday, May 1!

I got to meet Planet of the Pets creator Anthony Falleroni and chat with fellow comic fans about Laser Joan, Errand Boys, and comics in general while in a lovely local bookshop.

And now the Laser Joan and the Rayguns one-shot is on one of their spinner racks, which is pretty cool!

Comic Book Weekend at The Last Bookstore Studio City!

I’m not sure what to expect, but The Last Bookstore Studio City is a great store, and they have lots of comics. I’ll be there for their Comic Book Weekend on the afternoon of Saturday, May 2, with some comics I’ve worked on, and maybe I can sell and sign ‘em, or maybe I’ll just chat comics. I dunno!

Hey-o! I’ll be one of the vendors at AnaCon Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 10am to 4pm!

It’s at The Central Library in Anaheim, CA (500 W. Broadway Anaheim, CA 92805, to be exact), and it’s FREE to attend!

They’re gonna have comics, comedians, trivia, Star Wars storytime, cosplay contests, and more, so I hope you can make it!

The LASER JOAN AND THE RAYGUNS Kickstarter campaign just ended yesterday, and it was a success!

Now we’ll be printing the comics and the mini-print (which is of the awesome Robert Wilson IV drawn & Frank Cvetkovic color-designed image above) and getting ready to sign comics, package things up, and ship ‘em all out.

If you backed it, you’ll be receiving updates in the coming weeks, and we can’t wait to get you your comics!
