I need a professional look for my ebook and want the cover to really look really attractive.

The cover needs to catch the eye of someone even on a page with lots going on. Because the same cover will be used to make the banners to advertise the product all over the internet.

This is a quality product that needs a cover that conveys the same.

I would like the cover to look EXACTLY like the attached ones (see ebook cover) same font, colors, background, effects etc. with a few minor changes. Please make sure you can meet this requirement before starting. The last designer was unable to finish it.

The “Quit smoking” part should stick out (a much bigger size than “how i” and “1 day”) most so it grabs attention and the surfer knows pretty quickly what the ebook will do for them.

Have control over carriage returns

1. How to add carriage returns on certain pages
2. How to remove spacing (that looks like returns) between paragraphs and add a first line indent

Add additional reflow text tagging options or edit attributes within the available options

I have been able to locate the CSS file for quark and it appears to me in forums that I can edit that file and if it is saved as style.css, Quark should pick it up.  However, I have edited it and saved as that file, but the tagging reflow options do not change.  Is it possible to add/edit/customize reflow text tagging options that are availabe while laying out the e-book in Quark?

if the above is not an option then....

Create/edit formatting options in the Epub file itself

So, if editing the limited reflow tagging formatting options available while laying out the book in reflow view is not an option, than it appears that one can edit the css file of the Epub file by unzipping the contents of that file.  So....

Can one create new classes in that file? - if so how do they get applied to certain content? Is it done in the actual files or can you open the Epub file in some other program (Dreamweaver) to assign the classes to certain content?

I assume one can edit classes, so - perhaps this is where handling the carriage returns and paragraph indentation is handled? If so, what should be added/changed?

For a presentation, I want few (2-3) screens of mobile application which will work similarly to Rumgr. E.g. craigslist-like application where every item has its photo and location.

As a seller, I can photo an item, set a price, category and location and post an ad. As a buyer, I can see items near me with map and pictures.

Ideally want a designer who has experience in graphic design and illustration specifically for books, and experience in ebook formatting and layout.  I will need the final version to be available in both Word or EPUB doc (for uploading to Amazon) and as a PDF (for selling on my own site.)

Would prefer to have this completed by mid-May.  Planning to hire by April 23.  For the entire job I'm willing to go up to $250, however for the initial contract I will create a trial job of $40 with the assignment of creating several graphics or layout just to make sure we are on the same page design-wise.

I'm in need of a quick logo design. The word is 'CrownCulture'.
The design should be fairly simple but elegant as it will be used for fashion and accessories. As the name implies, we'll need to include a crown as part of the icon. Maybe we could have both 'C' turned back to back with the crown on top and then the words 'CrownCulture' below. You're welcome to try out different colors.
