This took some engineering and creative design work to make it both physically lightweight but also appear very light.  It had to let sunlight through the upper shelf so the plants on the lower shelf could get sunlight.  With some creative thinking we were able to create a beautiful plant stand the meets all their requirements.  This stand is made from hickory and finished with stain and conversion varnish to ensure a long life.
