            <description>&lt;p&gt;Starting January 1, 2008, Tero Ojanperä holds the position of Executive Vice President, Entertainment and Communities for &lt;a href="http://www.nokia.com"&gt;Nokia&lt;/a&gt;. He is also a member of the Nokia Group Executive Board, a position held since 2005.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;A sought-after industry commentator, author and speaker, he has played a defining role in the research and development work of Nokia's business groups since joining the company in 1990. Since 2006, he has served as Chief Technology Officer, a wide ranging role spanning corporate and technology strategy, strategic alliances and partnerships, research, standardization, intellectual property rights, venturing, Mobile Software sales and marketing, Forum Nokia developer activities, business infrastructure and Industry Relations.&lt;/p&gt;

            <title>René Obermann</title>
            <description>&lt;p&gt;René Obermann, born in March 1963 in Düsseldorf, Germany, has been Chief Executive Officer of &lt;a href="http://www.telekom.com"&gt;Deutsche Telekom &lt;/a&gt;since November 2006.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;From the end of 2002 to December 2006, he was CEO of T-Mobile International AG &amp; Co. KG and the Deutsche Telekom Board Member for Mobile Communications. In this period, T-Mobile continued its growth course as one of the leading mobile operators in the world with more than 100 million customers, successfully introducing the T-Mobile brand in eleven countries.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;René Obermann's career began with a business traineeship at BMW in Munich. Following that, he set up his own business ABC Telekom in Münster in 1986. He became Managing Partner of Hutchison Mobilfunk GmbH, the successor of ABC Telekom, in 1991. From 1994 to 1998, Obermann was Chairman of the company's Management Board.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;René Obermann has been a presidium member of the German industry association BITKOM since March 2007.             <title>Neta Oren &amp; Yam Aylon</title>
            <description>&lt;p&gt;Neta and Yam are students in the Democratic School in Hadera, Israel. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;They started Juggling and Circus studies about five years ago, with the first two years in the circus tent of Benyamina. &lt;/p&gt;

            <title>Markus Miessen</title>
            <description>&lt;p&gt;Markus Miessen (*1978) is an architect, writer and curator migrating between Berlin, London, Cambridge (MA) and the Middle East. In 2002, he set up &lt;a href="http://www.studiomiessen.com/"&gt;Studio Miessen&lt;/a&gt;, a collaborative agency for spatial practice and cultural analysis, and in 2007 was founding partner of the Berlin-based architectural practice nOffice. In various collaborations, Miessen has published books such as East Coast Europe (Sternberg, 2008), The Violence of Participation (Sternberg, 2007), With/Without -Spatial Products, Practices and Politics in the Middle East (Bidoun, 2007), Did Someone Say Participate? An Atlas of Spatial Practice (MIT Press, 2006) and Spaces of Uncertainty (Müller+Busmann, 2002). He frequently contributes to magazines and journals. His work has been exhibited and published widely, including at the Lyon, Venice, and Shenzhen Biennials. Miessen has taught and lectured internationally at institutions such as the Architectural Association (AA), Columbia and MIT. He has consulted the Slovenian Consulate (NYC) during Slovenia's presidency of the EU council, the European Kunsthalle, the Serpentine Gallery and the Swiss think tank W.I.R.E.; in 2008, he initiated and now directs the AA Winter School Middle East (Dubai). Miessen is a Harvard fellow and a PhD candidate at Goldsmiths, London. &lt;/p&gt;

            <title>Marcus Englert</title>
            <description>&lt;p&gt;Dr. Marcus Englert studied physics at the University of Munich before earning his doctorate at CERN, the European nuclear research institute in Geneva. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;From 1994 to 1998, he was a consultant with Boston Consulting Group in Munich and in 1996, he earned an MBA at INSEAD, the European business institute in Fontainebleau, near Paris. In 1998, he assumed the general directorship at ProSieben Digital Media in Munich, and from 2000 to 2001, he was a member of the Executive Board at Kirch New Media AG. He has been Managing Director at SevenOne Intermedia since 2001, and the ProSiebenSat.1 Group's New Media and Diversification Director since 2004. &lt;/p&gt;

            <title>Itay Talgam</title>
            <description>&lt;p&gt;Itay Talgam has conducted some of the world's best ensembles, studying with and assisting some of the world's greatest conductors, including Leonard Bernstein and Claudio Abbado.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;A native of Israel, he studied music in Jerusalem (and Philosophy in the Hebrew University), Siena, and Tanglewood.             <title>Hans-Peter Siebenhaar </title>
            <description>&lt;p&gt;Born in 1962, Dr. Hans-Peter Siebenhaar has studied political sciences, dramatics and communication sciences, sociology and new history in Erlangen (Germany), Kalamazoo (USA) and Madrid (Spain). During his studies, he worked as a freelancer for Bayerischer Rundfunk and volunteered at "Fränkischen Tag" (Bamberg, Germany).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Siebenhaar graduated in "media politics within the European Union" and received a scholarship from European Parliament in Luxemburg.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;As of 2000, Siebenhaar has served as an editor for the daily newspaper Handelsblatt within the companies &amp; markets department.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;He is the founder of the media podcast, Bel Etag (together with Thomas Knüwer since 2006), as well as last year's blog, &lt;a href="http://mediawatcher.blogg.de"&gt;Mediawatcher&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;

            <title>H.E. Paul Kagame</title>
            <description>&lt;p&gt;H.E. Paul Kagame was born in October 1957 in Rwanda. He fled persecution and killing in Rwanda and became a refugee in Uganda in 1960. He attended a staff and command course at Fort Lavenworth, Kansas USA in 1990. In October 1990, Paul Kagame returned to Rwanda after thirty years in exile to lead the Rwandan Patriotic Army (RPA) in the struggle for the liberation of Rwanda. On 19th July 1994, Paul Kagame was appointed Vice-President and Minister for Defence in the Government of National Unity. On April 17th, 2000, Paul Kagame was unanimously elected President of the Republic of Rwanda by the Transitional National Assembly. H.E. Paul Kagame was elected First Vice President of the African Union during the Second-Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union held in Maputo, Mozambique on July 11th 2003. On 12th September 2003, H.E. Paul Kagame was sworn in as President of the Republic of Rwanda, ending the transition period. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Paul Kagame holds a diploma in Professional Management and Business Studies from the Open University of London, UK. &lt;/p&gt;

            <title>Christiane zu Salm</title>
            <description>&lt;p&gt;Christiane zu Salm is founder and CEO of About Change Ventures (ACV). ACV is an independent private equity fund which was founded in spring 2007. ACV offers growth capital for media content, internet, telecom and advertising companies. ACV focuses on later stage investments on a global basis. The fund was closed in October 2007 and has a volume of over €100 million.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Christiane zu Salm was formerly the CEO of Euvia Media AG (2001-2005), under which she founded the two TV channels 9Live and sonnenklar TV and has turned the loss-making channel tm3 into the interactive quiz channel 9Live and led the company to profitability within just a few years.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Prior to joining Euvia Media AG, Christiane zu Salm was Managing Director of MTV Central Europe (1998-2001). Her success at the music channel earned her the 'Echo' music award for 'Media Woman 2001'.&lt;/p&gt;

            <title>Niklas Zennström</title>
            <description>&lt;p&gt;As an Internet entrepreneur, Niklas is one of &lt;a href="http://atomicoinvestments.com/"&gt;Atomico&lt;/a&gt;'s co-founders and partners.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Previously, he also co-founded Joost, Skype and Kazaa, among others. He is also co-chairman of Joost and chairman of Skype. Through Atomico, Niklas serves as a Board Member for several start-up companies, including FON.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Niklas started his professional career at Tele2 and holds dual degrees in business and MSc Engineering Physics/Computer Science from Uppsala University, Sweden. He spent his final year at The University of Michigan.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Niklas has won a series of industry awards, including 'Business Leader of the Year 2006' (European Voice), 'Innovation in Computing and Communications 2006' (Economist Innovation Awards) and the 'Wharton Infosys Business Transformation Award for Technology Change Agent of the Year 2006.' Niklas has been named 'Entrepreneur of the Year' (European Business Leaders Awards 2006) and was included in Time's '100 Most Influential People' List 2006.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Niklas lives in London and is happily married. He and his wife's interests include environmental and human rights causes.
