Are you wondering why DLS has no events posted on our online calendar after August? It's not that we have nothing planned! Watch for the new Library Learning calendar/registration system, coming in September.

In the meantime, you can download lists of future events (sorted by date and by event) in PDF format. These are also available at our current online calendar. These lists will be updated as we add more 2008 and 2009 events, so check back periodically.

The Library Learning calendar is a cooperative project of the Illinois regional library systems and the Illinois State Library. You will be able to:

See library continuing education programs and other events across Illinois, as well as to limit by the regional library system or by the Illinois State Library

View events in both calendar and list formats

Create a personal account to make registration easier and to help you track the events that you're registered for

And more new features are coming! Watch for more information later this summer in DLS e-memos and this blog.
