Thank you, Debora. I'm happy to learn that this info was able to help you out. I know I spend a lot of time making things work out on my own. I also appreciate it when people post their findings on things so I don't have to spend more time than I have to. Thank you again.

This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I enjoy seeing websites that understand the value of providing a prime resource for free. I truly loved reading your post. Thanks!

I've always thought that the most important thing when branching away from your "first" or "native" style is that you have a very strong core understanding of the fundamental principles and mechanics. Once you've learned the mechanics of the individual techniques, how to apply them, and how to properly transition between them then it makes sense that you could do your own thing. Of course, one should also be aware that one has suddenly joined a community of one (himself) when starting his own system, so that presents challenges for maintaining proficiency, finding mentors, and connecting with training partners. Innovation is necessary for survival - perhaps nobody understands this better than the martial artists who've evolved their respective styles for the last 1k years!

During the Winter, I'm a fan of Barley Wines. I love stouts and porters as well. Since returning from Iraq in Jul 2010, I've decided to explore what my "favorite" beers are in the different styles. So with that, I've decided that Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is my favorite Pale Ale - as of right now.

Lately: Cold Smoke is my favorite. I prefer dark ales and dark lagers in wintertime, along with double bocks.

I loved hops once, but my taste buds have gravitated away from the bitterness.
