Review: This great new set features 10 episodes from each of these three classic 80s action cartoons. Cops was an amazing show about futuristic police, Pole Position is based on the old Atari racing game and Jaycee was an original show that had tons of great fantasy action. This one is priced cheap, usually found under $10 and is a great way to relive some of the fun from our childhoods!

Synopsis: Every second counts in this sexy, stylish action-thriller starring Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried. In a future where time is literally money and aging stops at 25, the only way to stay alive is to earn, borrow, steal or inherit more time. But when a poor, working-class man (Timberlake) is falsely accused of murder, he teams up with a beautiful heiress (Seyfried) and must figure out a way to bring down the corrupt system before their dwindling life clocks run out.

Review: Filmmaker Andrew Niccol is responsible for some very thought provoking and entertaining movies. His previous works include The Truman Show and Gattaca. This go around his film, In Time, is thought provoking to a point, but is then glossed a little bit by overly attractive lead actors, stiff acting and maybe a little too much running around. That being said, its still a great movie. This one is a fun watch and is pure entertainment. I'll be adding it to my personal library.

Review: We enjoy a lot of stand-up comedy here at the Legion. Subsequently, we're rather particular about what we enjoy..and what we feature. Lets face it there is a LOT of crap out there. Today, we're featuring John Mulaney's new DVD, "New In Town". I wasn't familiar with Mulaney and I didn't think he'd be anthing to write home about, but I was dead wrong. He does a bit on Home Alone 2 that still has me laughing as I write this. Yeah..I said Home Alone 2. His comedy is fresh, new and absolutely hip. John is a writer on SNL and one of the best young comics out there. Definately pick this one up!

Review: We see a lot of anime here at the Legion. We have been watching it avidly since the 1990s. Ef is one of those great anime that focuses on a love triangle between school-going teens. The complete 12 episode collection is on this DVD set. This one is well worth the watch for anyone into romantic teen-drama anime. The voice acting is great on the English dub and the animation is fantastic.

The only downfall is Gere..he's not right for the role, but Topher more than makes up for his shortcomings.

Review: And the Town Moves On is one of the coolest additions to the "maid genre" of anime. The unseasoned viewer may not realize all of the various forms of anime that really exist out there. And the Town Moves on is fun, charming and hilarious. This DVD features all 12 episodes of the series and is a must-own for anyone that enjoys light-hearted anime!

Soon he realizes the gangsters are after more than the bag of cash and is forced to shift gears and go on the offense.

Review: Drive is a throwback action film that is remiscent of the 1980s glory days. I don't typically enjoy Ryan Gosling, but this film redeemed him a bit for me. This film has some fantastic drive sequences and a great romance backround theme. This one may appeal to all and would be a great weekend watch!

Sal LaMattina, Boston City Councilor representing Mayor Menino renamed Avery Street as The Town Take 2 Place, and a one-time only theatrical screening followed the renaming at AMC Loews Boston Common. Warner execs -- EVP Jeff Baker, himself a Boston native, and VP Ronnee Sass -- greeted Welliver. Welliver also played cops in “Man on a Ledge” and Affleck’s “Gone Baby Gone” and will next be seen in TV's “Touch” (with Kiefer Sutherland) and Affleck’s new film “Argo.”

Due to its cult status it has been released in the blu-ray book format, being hardcover with a book attached that has info about the filming of the movie. This one is a no-brainer, must-have for any collection.

Review: There have been countless documentaries about World World 2 on both DVD and Blu-Ray, but this one is unique, in that it is in blu-ray 3D! The entire film isn't 3D, of course, but rather portions of it. The documentary really goes into how the Nazis were at the forefront of photography and filmmaking in their day with a few other general facts and scenes that we've seen before. Seeing the marches at Nuremberg in 3D was absolutely intimidating and is the closest most of us can get to ever seeing them in real life. This one is a great watch.

Review: The best thing that I can say about Gus Van Sant is that he's a genius. His films are absolutely breathtaking and beautiful and Restless is no exception! I found this film to be quirky, charming and touching. This is a great movie to curl up on the couch with your sweetie and enjoy.

A few of the topics covered this season includes the wild west, high energy fields and what may really be below the permafrost in Siberia. We continue to enjoy this show and I'm surprised they can still find more subject matter! Its a great watch.

Review: Real Steel isn't a new and fresh film. The plots and character motivations are in no way original..in fact they're even cliche. Thats not to say that this isn't a great movie....because actually it is! The fact that you add in boxing Robots and the great Hugh Jackman didn't hurt, but this one is so finely polished and so well executed that its an absolute joy to experience. My 9 year old son LOVED this one, and I found myself very much into it, as well. Its the old underdog story with a new twist, and defiantely a great family film.
