Hello all, wondering what some of you guys might have to share about LED LCD Tvs. They are pretty new I guess... But any info is apreciated. What you've seen, Bad/Good reviews, Bring it on I have some money to spend on a new toy, maybe Ill spend extra 300-500 for an LED.

Go check out their prices on pre-orders. For example Terminator Salvation dvd is $10 and the blu ray is $16.99(many dvd preorders are $10). Plus they are offering free shipping. Amazon has now dropped some of their $27 price tags to match Walmart. Its about time Walmart gets in the game. Their $30 Blu price tags had to go.

eh!? perhaps its a test to see if a proper movie adaptation is worth the investment... but judging by the sales of Halo 3 and the #buzz around ODST i think its a no brainer to do well on the silver screen! this just seems like a waste of time, but the animatrix was fun while it lasted, maybe this will have more lasting appeal...

i know im probably going to get the idiot treatment for asking this, but i really wanna know will the bluray edition of transformers 2 will have the IMAX framing similar to what we saw in dark knight? i think it'd be cool if it were there! i know it wasnt the most well recieved movie critically, but im still looking forward to getting this movie considering it was (albeit sugar loaded) eye and ear candy for sure! PS - when's the review up?

Well I just read a story on Yahoo and they listed the top toys of all time. Now on that list was The SEGA Dreamcast, which I did own. I was not much of a gamer, but the sports games were amazing. Well I mean the console was amazing. Now I did some Google work and I see where there was a BAD rumor of a Dreamcast 2. But my questions is, I was reading where they may be producing some new games for the Dreamcast? And I also found a site, Gold Star Games, who is saleing new Dreamcast consoles for $99.99. So is there any truth, if anyone knows, are they making any new games?

The sad part is that the voice over is from a scene within the movie, so at one point in the film, we know we're gonna encounter yet another lame exposition scene. It looks polished and yellow, just like the game while Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton (playing the female lead) share a very disturbing British accent that pulls you right out of the scenery. Kinda reminded me of Orlando Bloom and his leading-man failure "kingdom of heaven". I also found the lukewarm jokes between the leads annoying. Anyway, give it a shot and write your feelings about it.

I don't know anything about the site, but, they seem to know what they're talking about. I seem to remember reading a similar tech blog about Super-Def in Japan, back when BD, HDDVD & Microsoft were all trying to become the next "DVD" technology in 2002 or 2003. I've said this before, but, I'm pretty satisfied with standard DVDs right now. I've got a fairly large collection that I don't relish replacing, even if it's just the "big movies". Maybe if Super-Def becomes a reality in 2020, I'll start replacing some of my standard DVDs. After all, 32 million pixels that you can't distinguish from one another, is hard to argue with! However, I predict that short of Sony forcing us all to switch to Blu Ray and getting rid of it, standard DVDs will still be around and being produced. By then, my collection could be 1,600 DVDs or so! :lol: - Josh

FOUR discs? It's stuff like this that makes me realize there is a future for movie downloads after all. I could understand if the movie was remade and they had different versions of the movie on each disc (Blade Runner, Star Wars, etc) but a brand new movie that isn't a remake? A bit much.

personally I enjoyed this movie. and if you compare it to surrogates then this one would have won best picture p sadly for them they're both getting compared to avatar!

I can't get through a Costco store without stopping in the electronics department until the Wife-O-Meter pulls me out. For those still interested in BD players, they have Sonys for $179, Panasonics for $159, and Sharps for $129. I guess the magic selling point is now $100? Or $99.99? And they all come with an HDMI cable, which right there saves you about $800 if Monster Cable had its way. Oh, and women in their sixties should not dye their hair purple. Unless they intend to shop at Walmart. John
