I miss Deadwood

Seeing all the different actors from deadwood doing guest spots on all sorts of different shows, just makes me mad that we only get our 4 hours-worth of movies and that's it, I still don't think they're filming anything yet so I highly doubt we'll see them anytime this year, although I'd guess that if they start filming now, we could get them by the end of this year.

If you watched the show from the beginning, you know how god awful it was. It has done a complete 180 from the 2nd ep and is slowly replacing My Name Is Earl's spot for my #2 comedy pick. Alec Baldwin makes this show. I still don't know why Rachel Dratch left SNL for her bit parts. She got replaced at the last moment by Jane Krakowski and she now only gets 1-2 mins an ep, if she's even in the ep at all.

British Shows

2 popular Brit shows are coming to the US, like us remaking their shows is anything new. The IT Crowd is coming. I really liked season 1, not so sure I want to see a US version. Life on Mars. I had to struggle at some parts to get through season 1. Season 2 just started airing in the UK this week. and some bad news. Adrian Lester is leaving Hustle. It airs here on AMC, still don't know why BBCA isn't airing them, but anyways. It seems we are going to be getting him in a new pilot or something like that. I'd hate for him to leave this show and then have the show he left for fail. I don't think Heist will be the same without him. He might not even be in the 1st ep back, although with them filming in Vegas and Los Angeles this past fall/winter, he may make an appearance, or that might be his exit to leave the show. I'm not certain what his new show will be about, just kind of bummed about it.

Battlestar Galactica

I'm not so into the 3rd season part 2. I haven't even watched it from Sunday and really have no desire to. That's kind of how the show is now for me. How about we stop worrying about who is fraking who and get back to the main storyline of, oh I don't know, Cylons want to kill humans so we gots to FTL our asses to Earth. They did get a pickup from Scifi for 13 eps for Season 4. Maybe that's a sign that Scifi is losing faith in them too. On another note, BSG looks awesome in HD on UHD (Universal HD). They just started season 3 two weeks ago so for those who want to wait and watch it in HD, might be an option. I know going back to watching in SD really just rubs it in how bad it looks.

The Office

Still going strong. I'm happy to have it back for sweeps. I find one thing wrong now, they have these absolutely hysterical shows, and then a still funny show after but it seems horrid b/c they keep giving us too many laughs, I know it sounds silly. From the 1st and 2nd ep of this season. The first, fantastic. The 2nd one, not so much. It's the one show I can't wait for on Thurs nights.
