Anything I say, I mean we because there?s another person that I work with Mark Harrington. So, what?s it like to be so tall [Craig has to be 6?6? at least]: Craig Siebels: [laughs] You come out with the tough question right away. Have you been with the show since the beginning? Yes, I?ve known Matt Nix for 9 years and we started talking about this show at least a 1 ? before there was a pilot. I didn?t design the pilot; I started with the 2nd episode. But I was advising Matt when he was here shooting the pilot. How did you create the unique look of the show? It?s not an easy question. When we first talked about the show we wanted the world to teach the audience to look at things differently. When we walk around scouting locations it?s ludicrous that we all think like spies now. Whenever we walk into a restaurant...

And keeping track of it all is your very own TV Addict, with the latest news on which actors and actresses will soon be popping up on your favorite shows come the Fall 2008. The News: BATTLESTAR GALACTICA’S Paul Campbell [Billy] will be joining the cast of KNIGHT RIDER as the head research tech at Knight Industries. The Lowdown: Finally giving us a reason to tune in after February’s uber-disappointing two-hour car commercial. [Source] The News: Ex-FRIEND Matthew Perry has signed on to headline Peter Tolan’s [RESCUE ME] Showtime pilot THE END OF STEVE. A dark comedy revolving around Perry, who will play a local TV anchor who’s real-life personality is somewhat different than his cheery on-camera one. The Lowdown: Could we BE anymore excited for the return of Matthew Perry to television? Umm… no. [Source] The News: Madchen Amick is returning to Central Park West, or more accurately, the Upper East Side to play a possible MILF for Nate [Chace Crawford].
Hollywood Crush: Bradley Cooper

There he played Will Tippin, one of Sydney Bristow?s (Jennifer Garner) closet friends. Though his character could sometimes get annoying because he would often naively wander into situations that would threaten to endanger both himself and Sydney, you could never really outright dislike him because he was ultimately a nice, well-meaning, and even admirable guy. He was the kind of guy you would actually want as your real life friend. That feeling was all Cooper, who infused Will with such seemingly genuinely natural charm and sweetness ? further accentuated with those emotive, gorgeous, entrancing eyes, and that debonair smile ? that you never really held it against the character (or the show runners) that he kind of a pain on occasion. His success as a genuinely good guy made it all the more interesting that he followed up his roles on ALIAS playing a clich?d chauvinistic jerk boyfriend to Rachel McAdams in WEDDING CRASHERS, and a sidekick to Matthew McConaughey in another romantic comedy, FAILURE TO LAUNCH. Neither of them were great roles, but I...

From the creator of Deadliest Catch and Ice Road Truckers comes one of the most explosive, relevant and thrilling original series of the year. It follows the high-stakes world of drilling for oil in west Texas. With the ever-increasing tensions from rising gas prices and dependency on foreign oil, Black Gold goes inside the world of men who risk their lives drilling for American crude. It’s a multimillion-dollar race to tap into the nation’s last remaining reserves, and Black Gold presents an unfiltered look at lives on the line. Tonight is also the season finale of Ghost Hunters . on SciFi at 9/8c.
The TV Addict Takes a Detour on 12 MILES OF BAD ROAD

For instance, yesterday I received the first six episodes of the recently cancelled HBO series 12 MILES OF BAD ROAD accompanied by a hand written note [see above photo]. Revolving around a wealthy Texas matriarch who must balance her booming real estate business and immense wealth alongside her [surprise!] dysfunctional family, 12 MILES OF BAD ROAD, at least on paper, seems like the perfect fit for the cable network that brought us THE SOPRANOS, SIX FEET UNDER and BIG LOVE. Unfortunately, HBO didn’t think so and decided to shut down production following the recent WGA strike. But not before six episodes were already in the can [which is TV speak for completed]. To their credit, executive producers Linda Bloodworth-Thomason [DESIGNING WOMEN, EVENING SHADE] and Harry Thomason are not about to give up so easily and have sent out the six completed episodes to critics across the country with the hopes of generating positive buzz and finding a new home for their fictional family. But you failed to answer it yourself. How are you getting through, as you so accurately put it, “the dark days of summer rerun/reality TV hell?” ? Dylan Rather than turn to overrated and frivolous pursuits like ‘reading’ or ‘the outdoors,’ this TV Addict has thus far survived these dark days of summer with the assistance of two phenomenal shows: GREEK and BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER. And while I’ll get to BUFFY later in the column, I do want to take a moment to give a huge shout-out to GREEK creators Shawn Piller and Lloyd Segan. Who, much to my surprise, may have delivered the most entertaining and heartfelt teen-centric drama of the year. So good in fact that I’m willing to overlook the incredibly unrealistic hookup I just witnessed between Rusty and Jen K. I mean seriously, in what dimension does a girl like that fall for a guy like Rusty. And no, I’m not bitter. Really. Thanks for the genuine TV scoop last week . But just out of curiosity, do you ever have any scoop that doesn’t involve a DEGRASSI star?...
