The Benefits of an Integrated eCommerce System

http://blog.dwebware.com/posts/the-benefits-of-an-integrated-ecommerce-system.cfm

An integrated eCommerce system is a professional business solution that wraps your website, shopping cart system and content management system into a unified package. The benefits of such a solution are many---the first being that it provides a seamless flow between your website and shopping cart system. Everything has the same design, so there are no branding inconsistencies as customers step through the checkout process. From an administrative standpoint, an integrated eCommerce system is beneficial because it brings together all the key components of your website’s management into a convenient location, accessible by a single login. An integrated eCommerce system delivers outstanding return on investment by bringing a level of professionalism to your website that your competitors may not have.

Heritage Lace is an excellent example of an integrated eCommerce system. DWebware partnered with Movement to create a website that allows Heritage Lace to sell its lace products online. The website has a soft, soothing design with a customized eCommerce system that drives sales and promotes professionalism. It is an example of the benefits that an integrated eCommerce system can bring to your business.

Case Study: YouNique Gear

http://blog.dwebware.com/posts/case-study-younique-gear.cfm

As web developers continue to search for creative ways to add fluidity to websites, AJAX has become a popular buzz word. AJAX is a sophisticated framework that makes websites function like software, with limited page refreshes. The idea of limited refreshes presents the challenge of laying out all the action of a website on a single page. DWebware met this challenge with YouniqueGear.com, a sports apparel website that allows shoppers to customize clothing online with their favorite college team logos.

Using an AJAX framework, YouNique Gear shoppers can create customized clothing and design it virtually. They can select the colors and logos and watch as their customized product comes to life on the screen. All of this is done without a single page refresh. We partnered with the Adobe team and integrated their Scene7 product into the site, which made this type of visual customization possible. Our programming team enjoys pushing itself to new levels using the most cutting edge webware products to achieve success.

DWebware Launches New Website

http://blog.dwebware.com/posts/dwebware-launches-new-website.cfm

For the past few months, DWebware has been working with its most difficult to please customer... ourselves. After more than 3 years it became obvious that the existing dwebware.com website had outlived its shelf life. As is common with any marketing tool, as time wore on our website no longer represented the type or quality of work that we produce.

The new dwebware.com allows us to showcase not only our work, but the work that we have jointly created with some of the best creative firms in the Midwest. We consider ourselves quite fortunate to work with such talented teams of artists, marketing experts, project managers, video producers and other industry leaders.

In addition to our growing portfolio, the new website will feature employment opportunities and a blog dedicated to keeping our customers and friends notified of company and industry news.

Thanks for visiting. Check back often for updates.
