2013-01-22T23:39:00.000-08:00

I was hired by Collabo Arts, the artist representetive agency to design a series of posters to be used for Google events.
These posters were designed in many different sizes for different locations and applications. What you see is a part of the series and the whole set is total of 14 different versions. Each poster represents Google’s particular product/service and I came up with a certain look to tie different product together.

Mexican inspired skeleton packaging

2012-11-03T02:28:00.002-07:00

For hundreds of years the Cuervo family has distilled and blended some of the finest Tequila. In 2011 the Tequila brand Jose Cuervo unveiled its 2011 edition of Reserva de la Familia. The 16th instalment of the limited-edition packaging design was designed by López Ramírez also know as “Dr. Lakra.”

Dr. Lakra is well known for his strong connection to Mexican culture, graphic art and traditional tattoos. The limited-edition thermochromic packaging design on the Jose Cuervo Tradicional Reposado and Silver Tequila features Mexican-inspired skeletons designs that fades to its optimal colour when chilled to at least 42 degrees. via [ creativeroots ]

Whenever I pass bleak-looking school buildings, I imagine their exteriors transformed wall into playful wonderlands. Nevercrew, a first-rate Swiss-based artists duo with roots in graffiti, did just that to an elementary school in Lugano.

Clown Timeless The brightest rainbow shades, polka dots, and baggy clown costume in place, this clown with a clock has a timeless appeal.

Alone Styled in a top hat and horse rider’s costume this smiling clown shares gentle vibes as he walks all alone.

Football Clown The bright orange wig with braids really goes well with the face of this football fan made up as a clown. source: slodive

Photographer Wojtek Kwiatkowski probably the most famous horse photographer. He is an author and a publisher of books about Arabians breeding all over the world. “I have many years of experience in the field. I collect books and archival photos of Arabian horses. For about 25 years I’ve gathered a wide photographic record library of the breeding in Poland. But that was just a documentation of horses in a specific – standing, halter position.

DJA’LOUZ – EXTRAORDINARY 3D STREET ART

2012-07-18T06:17:00.000-07:00

French graffiti artists have been setting the bar for quite a while. While we in the Netherlands have a tradition of readable graffiti or abstract, France artists embraced the wild style and embraced it as their own.
One of my personal favourite artists and a prime example of mind-blowing French graffiti is Parisian artist Dja’louz. Inspired by Arabic and Asian calligraphy, Dja’louz developed a unique 3d style which most of the times he applies in site specific ways. We had the honor to ask this inspiring artist some questions in between preparations for his upcoming exhibitions!

Body Painting Female art lets a woman decorate her beautiful body in wonderful ways. What with a woman’s curves and her natural grace, her body can be the ideal canvas to express her creative self. Be it her wild side with animal motifs, or her delicate and sensuous side with flowers or butterflies, body painting can express a lot of ideas.
