I know I just wrote an article about your clothes and style so I won’t write a long post about that again. I was just so impressed with the way you dressed for school so I had to get a picture of it. It’s not really a great angle for a picture and your cheeks are looking kind of chubby but your clothes are so very cool.

I am sure you girls know how much of a Duck fan I am. When I was younger I was really into Duck basketball. But after I graduated from the UofO I started to really get into Duck football. And boy has it been fun. Maybe I should do a blog post about my experience of following the Ducks and their amazing rise from futility to playing in the National Championship game. Or maybe that post wouldn’t be interesting at all to you.

Anyway, because I am a huge Duck fan I thought this experience was pretty cool. I read all the Oregonian articles and often read the comments about those articles on O-Live. I seldom make my own comment but once in a while I decide to give my two cents. I was kind of annoyed by all the people getting annoyed with Chip Kelley’s clock management at the end of the game that we lost to USC. I decided to give my opinion. Well, with big articles O-Line often takes a few of the comments from those stories and does another posts with those comment. I went to look at this like I look at all the articles and was surprised to see that my comment had been chosen. I thought it was so cool that I took this screenshot. My ID is DuckUup so you can see which comment is mine.

I think I talked about this before but you are really getting into clothes these day. You often look at clothes on the internet and you like going shopping. But it’s not all smiles for a couple of reasons. First, your mother doesn’t really like spending a lot of money on clothes and especially because you are still growing. And secondly, because it is hard to find clothes that fit your body type and at the appropriate maturity level. It seems like all the clothes that fit your are made for college girls and are just too provocative for you. And I am not talking about you wanting them but me saying they are too provocative. You also don’t want to dress in clothes that are too sexy.

Why am I talking about all of this? Because this is a new jacket you got and you were really happy about it.

In the back you can see Ho-Joon. He’s a friend of yours. Actually, your mother and me are friends with his parents so you two have become friends.

Getting Big

I guess they did some physical in school for all the kindergarteners so they sent home this slip with you Avya.

As you can see this was back in November of last year. And at that time you were 117.2 centimeters tall and 22.8 kilograms.

I am not sure how the weight compares to your weight at the same age Sudona but I do know that you were taller than this. Since you could stand I have been measuring you on a wall chart and I started doing the same thing with you Avya. I date each mark and put the age in years and months so it makes it really easy to compare. Sudona you were taller than Avya at all ages so for. I am guessing that this will continue into adulthood. But you never know about height so maybe things will reverse when you both become adults. Only time will tell.

Fomo Phoenix

I think it was around version 2.0 of Blogsy that we decided to start giving each update a name instead of just some number and do a graphic to go along with it. Our main company Character is Fomo. I know it is kind of geeky but with thought it would add some fun to what we are doing. And we would talk once in a while about the background story of Fomo and how it all fits together. I won’t get into it in this post as I will wait until I have all the version images to put into one post. I will just tell you that this is one of Fomo’s relatives and that’s why it kind of looks like Fomo.

We had gone down to the restaurant to see and spend some time with your mother and we saw all these people gathered around a truck just a couple of doors away. We decided we would go and see what it was all about.

It was a truck advertising Puma shoes. But you could get your picture taken in the display and if they chose your picture you won something. What you would win, I have no idea and didn’t really care. I just thought it would be fun for you girls to get your picture taken doing this.

I don’t think the picture really captures your reluctance to do it Sudona and your real desire to do it Avya. But that was the situation. It seems like that happens a lot with you girls. Avya you really want to do something but Sudona you don’t want to do it. Especially something in the public eye. But obviously I was able to talk you into it.

My Big Room

We were getting all the wallpaper and flooring redone in our house so we had to pull everything out of each of the rooms so this could get done. While everything was in flux I thought that it may be a good idea to switch the livingroom and you girls’ room. The living room isn’t all that important as we typically just sit in there to watch some TV. But your girls’ room was so small it was hard for you to play and also it meant that all your toys were organized in every little nook and crany so it was hard to get to them. I just thought it would be better for your developement to have a bigger room with desks and easy access to your toys and craft supplies. I asked your mom what she thought and she said if I didn’t care about losing my living room then go ahead and do it. You girls were pretty happy about it.

We had this rug, which you can see in the picture, that we hadn’t been using so I decided to put it in your room. Your mother didn’t really think it was a good idea to have a rug in your room but it just makes a home feel more comfortable to me so I put it down. And if you girls destroy it we can always throw it away as we weren’t using it anyway. Sudona, you seem to have mixed feelings about it and Avya you don’t really care.

Another Award

I have no idea what this award is for and you aren’t around to ask Sudona. I assume it is for your grades but I’d have to ask to be sure. I know the second image is of you report card and both of these images are together so that’s why I am guess this award is for your grades.

As long as you are getting awards I am going to keep posting them. I don’t think I will keep posting examples for the actual tests but awards and report cards I will keep on posting.

Building a City

Just a couple of pictures of some arts and crafts time Avya. I think you have the potential to be into arts and crafts like me. I think you could grow up to enjoy building stuff and making stuff just like me. A long time ago I realized that you are just not into it Sudona so I don’t push you. Time will tell if it is in you Avya. I do need to make more time to do things like this with you.
