I need one of those “ Winning Smiles “ a smile from the heart that makes you feel Loved. I receive many smiles through the day are what I call “ put on smiles, I would just as soon have the frown.'They are not from the heart.

Is there such a thing as having the Sumatra x bold coffee to early, I am at work a little early this morning, it is now only one a.m. what in the world am I doing here at this hour, well I am here the coffee is ready and I am ready and pretty sure that you are read, sit down and we will see if any one will pour.

This is going to be all until I talk to Mary, she is taking some extra rest which I know is badly needed. Prince is with her and has been since she had the fall, he ran to her down the steps when he heard her cry and has been with her most of the time since.

I want to talk to her again before I give you a report.

I am missing her so much here in the office, I know that you can tell by these terrible entries on our blog.

I must tell you about Jim and Beverly and what they did for Mary and I yesterday, I really should just write another special blog to tell you about it, but I can tell you more as I go along, first they got here about noon and brought our lunch, and then the work started, as you know Mary had the fall and was not able to do any laundry and other cleaning getting things ready for Sunday morning meeting, well that is all done now. And Mary usually does all the grocery shopping,so Jim went with me to get our groceries for the weekend, I am just going to stop talking, I think that you get the idea, what would we have done without them. Thanks Jim and Beverly.

Good Morning.

I forgot to tell you that when Mary fell on Wednesday night, it was on the concrete floor in the basement so that made it worse. She is still dazed and hurts really bad. I promised to keep all of you updated on Mary's progress. It is going to take a lot of rest, her shoulder injury that was the worst is still very sore and painful, she is so sore that it is a real problem to dress. Very limited movement with her arm.We did get a pleasant surprise when we visited her dentist, he was able to do an extra good job on her teeth.

I am your friend, I try to always remember our coffee, and you don’t have to worry it is always the same Starbucks Sumatra x bold. Every morning as I write this I am wishing so much that it could be really true and not make believe , but its fun any way, and it could be true if you ever come close Dads house, I have invited several of our friends to do that, Mary and I could meet you at a Starbucks store or you could come right here to Dads kitchen, that way you could meet Prince, that would make him happy.

DAD’S WEDNESDAY ENTRY TWO THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED SIXTEEN

GOOD MORNING,

Are you in a Happy mood this morning ? Oh, come on we need to be happy today. Dad

This is a silly question for me to ask, is it to early for coffee, I can hear you saying not if it is Starbucks Sumatra x bold. Well I assure you that is what is perking, sit down and I will serve you in a very short time. But you must smile for me if you drink my coffee Dad.

Our local weather is looking real good, right now at 12:38 a.m. the temp, is 45 degrees and no rain in sight, but don’t count on that very long, it rains almost rains in the afternoon.

Mary and I have not thought of any plans yet for today except the fact that we will be in our Wednesday night meeting tonight, which will be at our house at 7:30 p.m. The study is 1st Peter, chapter 4.

Mary and I have three outside Cameras that we are very proud of. CAM. 1,2 and 3, and we spend lots o time keeping these in good condition, because I think that they are the heart of our blog and all that we are trying to bring to you. Number 1 travels around every where showing you tomatoes and roses growing and it spends a lot of its time on old Dad showing him working on our blog, and drinking x bold coffee, maybe just a short nap. The other two are one looking south and one looking north from my office.

I must stop this buggy unhook old Pete, get him fed and ready for his hay pile, and get myself inside the warm house. please remember my side panels. We need to talk about money matters pretty soon, because it does matter.

I am sorry that I have had so much trouble this morning, trouble that is with Live Writer, but I am determined to give you a

These two lines are in one of our hymns that we sing often, what a wonderful thought, from here on out I am going to do my best to accept whatever God sends my way, and accept it with a smile, thinking of the fact that He is working out what is good and best for me, if I try to do that job Oh what a mess it would be. Good Morning.

Another new sheet clean and white as the snow, what will it look like at your bedtime tonight, it’s up to you, and I know from experience that it is going to take help from above where Jesus is sitting at Gods right hand pleading for us. What a comfort that is t0 us poor souls that cannot help ourselves.

My mood this mourning is kindly in doubt, things did not go very good with us over the weekend, but Mary and I are going to get these things out of our thought, think on better things and try to live a life that might help some other souls struggling on like we are. We need to remember that this is a cold, cruel world that we live in and we all need to do our best to make it a better place.

This is the morning that we love to begin to say a few words, it always reminds me of rest and some time to relax and get refreshed to help us in the week that faces us. In the 51st psalm David ask God for some of these things after he was made aware of his sin.

And being in a HAPPY MOOD this week will help us and every one that we are with,some one ask and old man that was in a rest home how he spent his day there, I love his answer “ I spend my time sitting down and thinking of all the good things that others have done for me

If you have missed me I have been having a little coffee break all alone, you could have saw me if you had been on Cam, # 1, That Cam. follows me around all day, gives me no privacy at all, but that is what I like, this spring we will be showing you lots of beautiful things such as Tomatoes in all stages of their growth and beautiful Roses, keep your glasses clean. Good Morning,
I like to find about about all my friends, all around this wide world the first thing each morning. I like to know what kind of a mood that you are in, so I will know how to talk and and not get myself in hot water. I am in a very Happy mood myself, things went well with with us at the Wound Center and then we had a very pleasant visit with Sherry and part of the crew there, The Oxygen is still going strong.
From the looks of me in the picture below that Mary captured of me this morning, it sure looks like I am in bad need of some of that Sumatra x bold Starbucks coffee. I will get it going in a jiffy.

Some colorful birds in our back yard, these birds are spending the winter with us,enjoying our Wildlife Habitat, looking at them it makes me want to better of it, and keep plent of water and food for them,

Are you in a Happy mood this Wednesday ? I hope that we both are, it will make it a better day if we are, We need to start it right for it to ever end right, "Begin the day with God " it will be easier for the ones that we are with today if we will do that.

This is our night for our mid week meeting, we are studying 1st Peter chapter three, these meetings help this old man to keep on going until the end of the journey, which may not too much longer for me, Dad.

The weather is starting off real nice, no rain and a temp. of 43 degrees. You cant beat that with a stick. Mary, Prince and Dad have not made very many defnite plans for today, we got so many things done yesterday, our friend John D came by today and fixed the light switch at the front door and other things around here that I cannot do. He works the Postal service, off at noon, and stops to check on us. Thank you John.

I am running very late this morning , problems with Live Writer, But I am doing alright. I may not get very much posted but I will do the best that I can.

We are happy to tell you that all three of our outside Cams. are in working order, and they are in their usual spot, you will see more of old Dad on Cam # 1, we have fun with that one, but just wait until Tomato and Rose season, you will get lots of smiles, and that is one of the things that I am trying to produce the smile that goes around the world, and it is understood in every language.

I am posting a little late this morning , Style writer is not working, I am a little slow writing like this, but we will make it, I have learned to not worry to much about any thing that goes wrong, I know that it will turn better soon.

Mary, Princ and I had a nice time, a helpful meeting, much spoken that I needed, now its up to me to do it, if I don't it would not profit me one bit. I must watch my clean sheet today and every day the rest of my short life here, time is running out.DAD.

Pamela has been here, cant you tell by the condition of our three Cams, She is the best in the busines and I am glad that she is our friend, when trouble comes up the first thing that we say is call Pamela, and here she come with a smile and leaves us smiling.

The three Cams. are in the same place that they were in from the beginning. Number one is our traveling camera, it can go anywhere on our tomato garden the Wildlife Habitat, and any thin else that we might find interesting, some days you may see a lot of Dad either working, drinking his coffee are just taking a shot nap.

Number two camera is the one at the Tomato Garden, where we will have more bird feeders, and a good place ts sit and watch the birds and othr animals that pass our way, I spend many hours of my day there during the summer months

Now number three, this looks out the front of my office window, showing a beautiful bird bath, and feeders. also some or our roses will be there, on this one you will notice the instructions on the left of the screen , please turn on the audio and you might hear me telling you what is going on out there at that moment. Dad.

Would it be all right to wake you up at 2:13 a.m. on a Saturday when you should be resting, I don’t think so, I have a pot ready, and I am going on and have a cup alone, or if you are awake Saras Aunt this early you might like to join me. I appreciate those early comments that I get from you. DAD
From what I can see looking out my office window into the dark I do not think that it raining, that sure is a change for us.
Even if it is early Prince is with me and I hear Mary moving around in her room, that coffee smell is what does it, any way I am glad that she is near, if I have a problem with Del she will com to me . DAD
These Saturday morning remind me of relaxing and resting. This blog is for two days, Saturday and Sunday, and them I will bring you a new one on Monday talking about Tomatoes, Roses, and smiles

Good Morning.

Would a cup of our Sumatra x bold coffee get you in a Happy mood right now, Well I am the man that can take care of that at a minuet notice , I stay prepared to keep a fresh pot going all the morning for you, so sit, relax and meditate and Dad will pour, I hope that it is x bold this morning.

Since we do not have Cam. # 1 back yet it looks like that Cam # 3 will be our best today, here at 7:05 it shows our front Wildlife Habitat. and I will be able to discuss with you things that we are both seeing, well its fun any way. DAD

The weather did not get as cold as was predicted, here at Dads tomato garden at 1:07 a.m. it is 29 degrees , and we hope that it will rise above that today, We are interesting in our Wildlife Habitat which you can see by using our # 3 Cam, which I hope is working. So now # 1 is still out, but as I have already told you our friend Pamala will be here Saturday to begin work on it, we must have patience with her because it may take longer than one day to repair this, but it will be done, Pamala never fails. DAD

I have an appointment with my regular Doctor this morning, nothing wrong as far as I know, he can’t under stand me, he wonders why at 98 plus years plus I want to keel working, he has been my friend an Doctor for many years, we always have fun teasing one another when Mary and I visit him.

Good morning.
I am in a very good mood, considering all the problems that we had yesterday. As you know our # 1 cam. is not working, we spent most of the day looking for a new one but no luck. I am going to call my friend Pamela and see if she will have mercy on me and send me one, she is the one that installed our Cam. system in the beginning and it has giving very good service.

I miss # 1 so much, we had a lot of fun with it, you could watch Prince and I write this blog every morning or see me drinking coffee or taking a nap.
We were looking to use it when we begin to get our tomato plants in the ground and when you could see a big red tomato smiling at you.

This is the second journal that I have wrote this morning, at 2am I had completed a long one, about 2 hours of writing , and like magic it was gone.I had even received a comment from Betty. In Hi’
I am going to make this one a little shorter this time around.
I was talking about all the good that I have received from Hyperbaric Oxygen treatments, I want to thank Sherry and Dr. Hall for all that they have done for me. I am a walking example of what this oxygen will do for you, I am planning a 50 plant tomato garden this spring, a few months ago that would have been impossible.

We were also talking about business and the hard time of making a living in this hard cold world, My book that is being written will soon be done and I expect a little help from that. Watch for it.
My outside cameras have been giving me trouble, # 1 is complete gone, # 2 and # 3 are working, # 1 is the one that I miss the most, with it you can see me working on my blog and Prince sitting there with me, and sometimes you may catch me taking a nap. Mary and I are going out this morning and see what we can find, I am sure that we can have it ready this afternoon
Our weather is I might say wet, it rains almost every day, raining now with a warm 48.

Good Morning,

Oh, What good coffee. I am sure that it is Sumatra x bold. I will pour, you drink and smille.

That looks and smells so good, sit down and we will have a cup, and talk about all the good things that have come our way, they have been many and we do not want to forget

them. We sure do not want to be complainers.

I have not said anything for a few days, but I have not forgotten about Sherry and Dr. Hall and the wonderful work that they are doing in providing us with those Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatments.

It has meant a lot to Dad, I would not be where I am today if it had not ben for them. Here I am today making plans for a Tomato Garden of 50 plants, and you know what I like to produce, Tomatoes, Roses and Smiles. Dad.

I am not so sure of our plans for this morning’ We may go to look at some new Cameras, we have been having all kinds of trouble with Cam # 1, it is completely off, Cam # 2 and # 3 were working when I closed last night. # 1 is the one that I enjoy the most. You can watch me as I work and drink my x bold coffee, with Prince at my side.

Our weather is I might say is wet, it seems that we have rain every day in the early morning it is raining now at 1:45 am and a warm 47 degrees .

I wonder why I don’t go back to bed for a little while, any sensible person would, but not old Dad.

It is time for me to talk about business, trying to make an honest living in this mixed up world. Each day it seems a little harder, so we must try a little harder. My book that is being published will be ready soon, that should help me a little I hope. watch for it.

We had a wonderful day yesterday our meeting was so helpful, I heard a lot of things that I am going to give my best to do. And then to make the day perfect Benna and Sara had a home cooked meal in Dads kitchen with us. I do not enjoy eating out anymore, I think that Mary can beat the best of them , stop in someday and let me prove it to you. Dad

And I have found some one else who likes Sumatra x bold coffee, Sara, she loves it, a smart girl. And we had plenty of it, and you would have enjoyed the conversation that went on around the table for a good while.

We have not made any plans for today, hardly know what to do. it is little to wet to break the ground at the tomato garden spot, so I think that patience is the best things to have, we don’t need to worry, the time will come.

Some Thoughts from Dad

Good Morning,

I hope that all my friends all around this world are in a happy mood, we should be happy just for the fact that we are still in the land of the living, but much more.
A weekend causes me to think of Relaxing and getting prepared to face the coming week, we will be facing many trials and tests, the old devil will be presenting to us, we must say to him NO.
Our Meeting will be at 10 a.m. Sunday morning, Mary and I will be there, and then a lite lunch in Dads kitchen afterwards a few naps with Prince.
I have already told you lots about our visit with Sherry and Dr. Hall and the wonderful time that we had, but I forgot to tell you what they gave me, when we left, this below is the hood that I wore in all the oxygen treatments that I had there.

This will always bring memories of all the help that I have receive there, I feel like I am a walking example of what the Oxygen treatment can do for you.
I will be able to have my usual Tomato Garden of 50 plants.

Good Morning,

“DAD RECOMMENDS “RELAXING”

We had a wonderful day on Thursday. first we went to wound center and found good news. Heather was well pleased with the progress on my foot, and has decided that I do not need any more 0xygen treatments. It is wonderful what those treatments have done for me, soon they are going to measure me a pair of new shoes, then who is going to smile.
Our next stop was to see Sherry and Dr. Hall at the Oxygen office, and did we ever get a Royal welcome. We had not seen them since I had my last treatment there, Right here and now Dad wants to tell you what he thinks about this wonderful treatment
There is nothing like it, I am a walking example of what it has done for an old man, Dr. Hall said that I was his oldest patient 98 plus years old and happy and content with my lot in life.

My Beautiful Wife LaVerne. Oh, how I miss her still. She is holding Greg, our first grand child.

You hear me talk a lot about “ Living for others”

I learned that from LaVerne, she truly did this every day. One of our hymns goes like this,

This hymn was sung at her funeral.

As I write this it brings back so many sweet memories.Dad

To day we go to the wound center to see if I can continue to leave off the oxygen treatment, it has been about 2 weeks since I have been there, and I feel pretty sure that I will not have to go any more. DAD.

I don’t seem to have any plans for today, it rains so much every day that you don’t know what to plan.

Tomato season is on its way, I am afraid that it will be here before I am ready Lots to do and I have scarce begun. But I am going to have to quit taking so many naps with Prince and go out and get my clothes and hands dirty.

I must be getting older than I thought , I forgot to start the Sumatra x bold coffee.I will do that right now, in about 15 minutes one of us will serve you, Sit in that rockers over there.

All three outside cams 1,2,3 are in service and working good at the present. I am having fun with # 3, when it is working good I can talk to you on it.
