Babahera Ice cream @ Akita, Japan

Akita city is a capital city at Akita prefecture. Akita city has castles. Sensyu park is just in front of Akita station. Around Akita castle and other main streets, some old woman sell ice creams. They make instant shop around castle at summer. You can see several shop around it. A special thing is a shape of ice cream like as following photo.

A women makes this shape of ice cream in front of you. This shape is rose flower. Pink color is strawberry flavor taste and yellow one is banana flavor taste. Actually this taste is not as such natural one. In my image, it taste is soda flavor taste. But I did not feel bad when I took it. Actually, basically, I do not like banana taste of foods. But I did not make image of banana when I ate it. So, I can repeat to buy this ice cream. This taste is good for hot summer.

As I wrote, we can buy it around city from old woman, but i found it in convenience store. I did not have any hesitation to buy it or not when I found it. Sure, I got one.

Well, what meaning of babahera? baba = old women. hera = spatula. Women makes this flower shape only using a spatula. So they call it as babahera. When you order this ice cream, a women will start to make this flower shape. This creating will make your attracting.

If you will go Akita city on summer, I recommend to try this ice cream.

Rail line history museum @ Shinbashi, Tokyo, Japan

Several weeks ago, I found a history of rail line museum around Shinbashi station. I usually walk around that point on weekend. However, I walked 2nd floor at that point. And I did not know about a museum on 1st floor. Our weekend walking is changed from distance oriented to unknown load finding. We just enter a small street and then that small street connected new world.

Shinbashi is an important area for rail line in Japan. Because, Shinbashi started a history of japanese business rail line. The betting of business rail line started from shinbashi to yokohama at 1872. 9 trains on every day were operated at that time. It was needed 53 minutes for one way (it is needed 20 - 26 minutes, now). Average passengers were 4300 people per day. Bothe Terminal stations on that line required many functions, so both stations were not only passenger line station but also transportation base.

A function of main terminal of passenger station moved from Shinbashi station to Tokyo station 1914. So, only goods train terminal function was kept on Shinbashi station. And then, Shinbashi station was renamed to Shiodome station.

This rail line history museum shows such histories. And most explains are in english, too. Inside a museum, we can not take photo. So, I do not have any photo inside it. However, I recommend to go this history museum. Actually, this museum is for free. I was surprised about it.

A museum is used an old building that is kept since meiji japanese period (1862 - 1912). We can see such classic building in jungle of many skyscrapers. To see this building is also enough value.

I am not sure, but probably this is a cafe space. This is opposite side of entrance. In case, this space is only for specific event.I came here just before last admission time. So, a cafe was already dark.

I saw Dr. Yellow Shinkansen Super Express!

I saw Dr. yellow! Dr. yellow is a kind of Shinkansen super express. Dr. yellow is running on Tokaido shinkansen line and on Sanyo shinkansen line. Tokaido shinkansen line is the oldest shinkansen line in japan. a service area is between Tokyo station and ShinOsaka station. And sanyo shinkansen line is for ShinOsaka station to Hakata station. Both lines are very important public transportation for many seen. Tokaido shinkansen line serves shinkansens every 3 minutes and 30 seconds from both of Tokyo station and ShinOsaka station. And we do no need to change any trains from Tokaido shinkansen line to Sanyo shinkansen line. If we are living around one of Tokyo area, Osaka area or Hakata area, then shinkansen line is more convenient than air lines for moving between such three area. (If we can book super cheap air line tickets, then air line is more cheap than shinkansen line. Because shinkansen line has few discount tickets. And shinkansen line's discount rate is not so big as air line discounting.)

Dr. yellow is one of the most rare shinkansen in japan. Because, no passengers has an experience to take it. It has no chance to serve a business operation. Dr. yellow is a doctor of rail line, overhead wires for power infrastructures and monitoring many kind of signals from infrastructures. Such testing works are executed with real running and such running is exact same conditions as business operating shinkansen.

Because of such purpose of operation, Dr. yellow is working almost every 10 days. So, it is not so easy to see this trains in our life. Yes, some super rail line manias are checking traffic diagrams. But Dr. yellow is not for business operation, so no public printing contains schedules of Dr. yellow. So, such manias sense or making imagination of real diagram of Dr. yellow. And some of them publish his/her predictions of schedules to his/her own web pages. If you have internet in such predictions of schedules, you can find them using google (I think). Such kind of rare shinkansen, some people call Dr. yellow as happiness shinkansen. It will make lucky to a people who can see it.

TokyoWalking : Tram @Arakawa-Line

End of last year, I went to cycling to Ikebukuro. Ikebukuro is one of the main city on Yamanote-line (loop line) It is north area of Tokyo (loop-line).

Basically, most rail lines on mid-tokyo are as subway or elevated railway. So, it made my so surprising, when I saw it.

This is tram in tokyo. I did not know that tokyo also has a tram.

Following photo is another tram station.

I saw several tram on the railway. Most of them are painted with different line (maybe...) This tram is named Toden-Arakawa-Line. This line is for Waseda University. I could not take the tram, becase I rode my bicycle. However, I will take the tram on some day.

Following river is River, Kanda. The river is used on some old japanese song.

Octoberfest @ Hibiya-Park

Hibiya park is one of the largest park in Tokyo. And Hibiya-park has many events.

Last week to today, Hibiya-park had an Octoberfest. Octoberfest at Germany is the largest festival in the world. And an Octoberfest at Hibiya-park is also organized same society of the Octoberfest on Germany. So, we can try many Germany beer and Dishes.

We went to Germany at last year. And we drank Kölsch beer. Yesterday, we could fined a beer shop from Köln. So, we could try it again.

The dish fried potato and fired cheese. Usually, we take fried potato with salte and black peppers. However, the dish had orenge jam. It made our surprising. However, the combination of them is also quite nice. This thing is similar to when we sow a dish of meet balls at IKEA.

Kölsch Beer

Yes, you need to cover too of a glass when you do not need more beer.

Tokyowalking : Castle Park @ Tokyo

Kokyo (castle in tokyo) is one of the largest park in tokyo. Kokyo meaning is the house for royal familly.

Now, half parts of the kokyo is still house for royal family. However, half of them are opened for park. Several years ago, it is opened for public. Before the day, it was opened for special days as a season of cherry blossom or autumn leaves.

Now, most day except monday and friday are opened. (You should check exact schedule before to go) LInk

When the Edo Period, the castle was a house for Shogun family ( Main General) So, stone walls are so sharp angle. I think I dont want to climb such wall....

Following photos are from a place where it had main tower.

I don't know when the main tower was removed or broken. But i did not know the castle also had a main tower.

Most space of this castle are not barrier free. It is little bit hard to climb the space of main tower.

Well, Kokyo has many histories to build it. So, many places has different stile of building for stone wall. Like as head of this article, the stone wall is built just after to start a city of Edo. So, this stile is quite diffence with this kind of stone wall.

You can check many stone walls, when you walk in Koyko. And the building style are quite difference from European building stile of stone wall.

I think this was head of main tower. (Im not sure. I did not read this explain board....)

Beefsteak plant in a room

When I was in Kanzawa-city, we made some vegetables at balcony.
I also continue to make balcony farm in tokyo.
However, it is much more difficult to do in Tokyo, because tokyo is much higher temperature than Kanazawa-city. And my room in Tokyo has less sunshines than Kanzawa. Because just in front of my balcony has another building. And between two building have very few sunshine.
I try several rosemaries. However, most os them are damaged due to both of temperature and few sunshine.

We found a new farm kit which we can grow beefsteak plant in a room as following. Actually, we like room plant kits which we saw in north Europe. That was good idea. However, we can not find such kit in Japan.

We went to shopping mart for finding soil for olive. Then we found not only soil but also this kit.

I'm not sure exact price but I think this kit and soil was less than 1000 JPY.

Package is also document of this kit. Maybe you don't need to understand in japanese. There pictures are enough for how to use this.

Top of this kit can be used as bottom of this kit for saucer. This element is so important to use this kit in a room...

I thought this kit grow with only water, but the kit includes soil. it the soil is so soft.

After taking out everything from kit.

This is first experience to see such kind of seeds module. They are looked sugar courted beens ^_^;;;

And, DONE

Now, it is 1 week past from to start this module. However, we dont see any new sprouts.

Tokyo walking : New spot in Tokyo (akasaka, Kioicyo)

After long redeveloped, Kioi-cyo, Tokyo has new spot.
Akasaka Pince Hotel was closed. And the place had nothing. Recently, there are new place.

This building was owned by Li (re?) KIngdom family from china at 100s years ago. It is kept as important cultural assets.

I think it is not only for cultural assets but also for cafe. Because I saw several staff people just in front of this building. I have not entered to this building.

This cultural assets is not only building but also this graden. You can see this garden for free. (I'm not sure that seeing the building needs fee or free.....

And just border of the building and parkgarden has a deer. Big deer..... The height of the deer is larger than 4m.... (i think)

In the garden park has many restaurants. The area has 3-4 floors. And you can enter them directory from Akasaka-mituke station . I like there area.

Chipstar Wasabi Flavor

Today, we try wasabi huraba of Chipstar. Chipstar is one of famous potato chips in japan.

Today, we found a bottle of chipstar with wasabi flavor, There are many kind of potato chips with wasabi flavor. However, we have not seen wasabi flavor on Chipstar. So, we try to take them

It is enough wasabi flavor. But it is not too strong.
It was so nice flavor. We think it is on top 5 of wasabi flavor of potato chips.

Tokyo walking ; Edo culture. I found old Tokyo (EDO)

Now, Tokyo is one of famous cities in the world. Not as europa main cities, it is difficult to find classical parts in Tokyo. Most of them are modern building. I found some classic parts in tokyo as previous posts.

Last week, I found other classic parts in tokyo. Most people in tokyo are moved from other city as me. However, almost 10% of population in tokyo are living in tokyo from hundreds years ago. Last period of Samurai was Edo period. And, people who were living in Edo (Tokyo now) had difference culture from Osaka , Kyoto, or other cities. Such people who live(d) in Tokyo are/were called as EdoKko.

If you have interest in EdoKko then check it from google, please. I can not explain what is EdoKko. Because I also don't about it in detail.

However, I could have mood as Edo city in a festival in Hie-Shinto-Shrine. It is one of oldest shinto-shrine in Eod city. Almost(?) every year, it has festival on it. And it was 400 years memorial festival.

This festival uses cars as above. The Shinto think the car have shinto spirits. And, each town around the shinto-shrine have different cars for this festival. And I think to carry such car in a festival is one part of spirits of EdoKko. ( to carry such car is not unique in tokyo. many area in japan has same festival. ) However, EdoKko like to make such festival. ^_^

Same town wear same color of clothes.And each town rival there activeness.

Design of each car are dependent on town.

Lucidchart: Diagram drawing tool

There are many drawing tool. And it is difficult to choice one from such drawing set. Because there are many different features.

Several years ago, I used OmmniGraffle (https://www.omnigroup.com/omnigraffle)
It is also good tool for drawing. Because OmmniGraffle has many pre-provided object not only UML diagram but also room-design, circuits-design, chemical diagram, etc, etc..... And ommnigraffle has good and easy to use UI. So, it is not so difficult to drawing diagram as me who is awkward. (^_^ ;;;) However, it is not easy to share data with several computers.You need several installation of ommigraffle onto individual mac, and you need to share your graph data using some way as using e-mail, network storages, dropbox, box.com, or some other way. If you forget to make data onto such storage, then you need to remake from zero.

Recently (this 3 - 4 years), I switch to use Lucidchart. Lucidchart has more simple interface and objects than ommnigraffle. So, it is much easy to use. The UI is simple but well designed for using. However, I don't need to install any software on my computer, because Lcidchart works on web browser as GoogleChrome. So, you don't need to consider operation system choice. You can install Lchidachart from chrome store. And you can save your data onto google drive. So, you can edit and use your data on any place if you have the Internet connection. And you can export your diageams as PDF, PDN, JPEG, and so on. Pricing of Luchdchrat is not cheep but not expeincive. it is same level with other software. 5USD per month. So, you need 60USD per year. A drawing software life time is 2 years to 3 years. So, 60 USD is not so cheep and expensive. But, Lucidchart also have free user account. It have many limitation from payed version. However, it is also enough usable.

And, it is also good point for me. Lucidchart can inport data of Ommnigraffle. So, you can use old data, if you used omminigraffle.

highway, Tokyo. Tokyowalking

Tokyo has many highways (syutoko). However, most highways in Tokyo are built before Tokyo Olympic (1964 : Tokyo Olympic).

Tokyo was nothing just after 2nd war. maybe, you can check many photos in the Internet about Tokyo just after 2nd war.

so, the largest question is why there long distances of highways in Tokyo were built only less than 20years? Because if they were built from nothing, then it was needed more than hundreds years.

the answer is there highways were reused of moat around castle. Tokyo had been capital since 3-400 years ago(Edo period: 1603 – 1868). so, there moats were grown using for 300-400 years.

As following photos are a part of highway. You can see a wall on right side on each photo. They are a trace of moat. If you have interest in this seen, you can see Shintomicyo. I pined on a map on this blog.

Tokyo Walking : Photo Vlog

Recently, I walk Tokyo, Japan with my wife. Our walking distance has began more than 10km for each day. Before that, I like to take photo when I walk around my life spaces, when I take bicycle and so on. I uploaded some video when I went to cycling.

Well.... I took many photos after my mobile phone was changed. My new phone is snoy Xperia. Xperia have good quality of camera. And Xperia have good video maker which uses photos data. And, it is much easy to make small video than to use Mac Or PC softwares.

So, I start to publish Tokyo walking Vlog, too.

Following video is around Kanda area, Tokyo, Japan. I took them using Xperia and making video. I needed only 5-10 minutes.

Next video is around Ebisu (Yebisu), Tokyo Japan. Usually, we go there for buying wine. Around Ebisu station, we have favorite wine shop.

Like as above, there is not so special or not so good quality for video, however I think it is enough for vlogs.

Discover of tokyo "Omotesando area": it mixes modern design and old things

i may write some posts about life tracking devices.
well, after i start to use such devices, our walking distance became larger . it was two km was the largest distance for walking, when we got them. now, especially, after came back from europe, two km for our walking is normal thing. we walked 30km on beginning of this month. And, we walked 23km on last weekend.
"I'll write review about such devices later. "

today, i write about walking on one day of last weekend.

I walked around omitesando, tokyo. it is an area between harajyuku and gaien park. Usually, the area are famous for modern and arts. I do not know well about tokyo. But, i also know littele bit about the area, even if i am such person.

In that walking, I could find more new knowledge about omotesando.

Like as above, Omotesando has many shop which is famous for girls and people who has interest in fashions. (in my image)

However, Omotesando had some other faces, too.

One is green. Some small streets have some green area like as below.

I was surprised because of the green. In Osaka-city (2nd or 3rd largest city in japan), there are not such greens in a center of city.

The other face is old.
I found many too old building among modern designed building as below.

This building clothed vegetations. And the vegetations made fruites.

Like as above, Omotesando area is not simple area. I will be able to find some other new elements on next time, too.

Dragon : Denmark vs Japan

We went to Lego-land in Denmark. However, we could not enter it at that day due to holiday.

Well, we went to Lego discovery center in Odaiba, Tokyo. Some day, Lego Discovery center makes an event for adult people. And, we saw many items. I will write about them later. Today, I will write about dragon.

Both of Hotel Legoland (denmark) and Lego discovery center (Tokyo ) have dragon. They have common parts but bit difference. So, I write about the dragon.

When you enter to Hotel Lego-land from main entrance, then green dragon gives your welcome. As following dragon. the dragon is so big more than 2 meters tall (maybe)

The dragon is much wider than a dragon of my images. And a dragon in my images has two horns as deer. However the dragon has a horns as unicorn (uni??) However, this dragon is enough power. I like this dragon, too. The cute point is his tongue especially the fork of thongue.

The dragon is also different from my images of dragon. But the this dragon is much closer than denmark's one for body line. My image has green for dragon body. So, Denmark's dragon is much easy to image ^^

The dragon has two horns for his head. And shape of face is much realistic for japanese. I think this image is for japanese or east asian. Fingers are also realistic. Actually, I wanted to try hugging with him ^_^

However, dragon in tokyo has full body. This is good point for me. Wing is much smaller than denmark's dragon. I think this is due to space in building.
If you want to go lego discovery center then you need at least one children with you because of the rule of discovery center. And you need to reserve the ticket from the internet. Some days, discovery center makes an event for adult as i wrote above.

Ice cream Spaghetti

When we are in trip to europe, we met several friends. Friends who we met in germany introduce us about ice cream spaghetti.

We took dinner together in keln. At that time, we had a topic about ice cream. We like ice cream.

And I was thinking to go hargendaz at that time, because we saw hargendaz in hamburg central station. In such context of our talking, they introduced about ice cream spaghetti.

Ice cream spaghetti is not a spaghetti. It is an ice cream plate as following.

Above picture is not a spaghetti meat sauth. I thought it was spaghetti with Parmesan cheese, when I saw this photo after coming back to japan. It is really ice cream as following photo.

You can find ice cream spaghetti in such cafe. If you can see ice cream counter on front of the shop then you may be able to take ice cream spaghetti. The friends said that you should ask menue about ice cream spaghetti before you will enter the shop. Most such shop, you can find.

And you should find a staff who has as much as similar to Italian. Such cafe can save good ice cream spaghetti.

Starbacks among europe and japan

Starbucks are most cities in the world wide. Sure, we use starbucks in some situation not only weekend but also business sean.

One of my friends said that a NY cheesecake by starbucks is a best cake for him.

And, it is easy to find starbucks in a city. Because we know the symbol of the starbucks, even if they are little bit difference on each countries. The coffee is not so special but the quality of coffees are not so difference.

Well, I found a thing about starbucks. ( I think it is common thing for people who are in EU.) The coffee taste are quite difference among the countries. Before to leave from japan, I thought starbucks are serve coffees similar qualities and taste. We tried not only starbucks but also local cafe in each cities. There are many good cafes in germany and north europe. Starbucks served coffees which are much for each nationalities. So, we could try many difference type of starbucks coffees.

And I was surprised about custom menu. Usually, I change milk to soy milk. (in my case, it is not for diete ^^;;) But, all countries in our trip also had soy milk, In my opinion, I thought that the soy milk customize is only for japanese menu as match drink.

And, usually, in japan, few officer ask a name of customer. However, most shop officer asked our name in europe.

Rail line stations in North Europe and Germany : View From Japanese

We used 5 airports in our last trip. Copenhagen Airport, Helsinki Airport, Stockholm Airport, Frankfurt Airport and Bile Airport (Denmark). I have used CDG and london airport.

This is Copenhagen airport station. I think I took this photo on last day on europe when we headed to Copenhagen airport.

This is one of the express train. Some trains can being us to central station of copenhagen. However, some trains are not done to the station. You need to check it by yourself throug the schedule board as above photo. Actually, we asked to some people too much time, when we went to central station of copenhage.

Following two photos are in Helsinki. I took them on 1st day of europe. We were surprised about airport station's deepness. In tokyo, we have several deep line but most case they are subway. From airport to center of station, most case, the rail line station is not so deep. (sure, there stations are underground, too)

We needed to take such long escalators several times. I have only seen such long escalator on Otemachi station, tokyo metoro hanzomon line. However, in north europe, most of station (for subway) were such deep lines.

I think this is central station of Copenhagen. Copenhagen was third countries in our trip. So, we could adjust the cultures for rail line in europe.

Following station is taken from inside of train, I don't know what station is that. However, most europe countries' statino is exact same as images what most japanese have for stations in europe getting from japanese animation or comics.

Next photo is one of the most surprised seen for us. This is a train what we took from Copenhagen to Hamburg (ICE). Because this photo is taken in a ship. When we moved from Copenhagen to Frankfurt through Hamburg using trains. We switched state of sleeping and waking up for many times, because we took early morning's train. Suddenly, our train was stopped in building. And most people except tourist as us were getting out to train. And officer came us and say we need to get out from train. We really could not understand what happened with us. Actually, it is in ship. ICE entered to ship. And, we need to get out from train for an hour.

This is Humburg central station on Germany. The station was much wider than noeth europe countries. However, the station was much hard to see the rail line schedule board. Because, most countries in north europe had many central boards for announcing. However, germany station had only one or two central boards. And we need to check the schedule on annouse board on each platform independently.

I think this is Frankfrut central station. In my opinion, architecture of many stations in germany are as with arts. North europian countries, there station have also arts much more than japanese stations (this is sure) However, stations in north europe are basically painted on there walls. However, stations in germany are much more 3d arts.

I think stations in north europe are as modern arts and stations in germany are as traditional arts.

Drinking at Room For Tourists : Compare with Helsinki, Stockholm, Compenhagen

In our travel, most of dinner, we ate in our room by several reason.
1. We wanted to try dinners which are eaten by there countries people
2. We walked too much (average more than 20K steppes per day), so we were so tired for going out for dinner.

So, not all, but most dinner, we took in our room. However, this meaning is not as taking room service. We bought from supermarkets, convenience stores. So, today, I try to write which countries are most easy to get dinner in a travel for drinking/ eating at our room.

We think the dinner is Helsinki was easiest way to get. Because we could find supermarket easier than other country.

We came to Finland through Denmark. So, we really wanted to try Denish. Following photo is a our 1st danish. The danish is a pumpkin taste, It was nich. However, it was not similar to common japanese thinking danish. It was much more soft.

Comment for above photo. We thought that the coup is yogurt. However...... it was cheese...... cup of cheese..... Basically, we like to eat cheese, however it was too much for us for two days.

Stockholm was too hard to find supermarket than helsinki. I'm not sure the difference of luck for location of hotel. However, stockholm was so hard to find supermarket. We try to find some supermarket around our hotel using google maps. However, we could find only chinese food shop.

Following photos are dinner in stockholm. 1st day of stockholm, we went to department for checking gifts to people who are in japan. And then we try to buy some foods in that department. (google map location of the department :::: https://goo.gl/maps/w9EQD7wVXsv)

We bought chikin and beens salads, some some dishes and two bottle of beers. Actually, one of my friend who are living in stockholm said that swedish beers are also good as germany beers. So we wanted to try swedish beers. From result, we bought germany beers ^^;;; We were so tired, and we bought beers which are made in sweden (we thought) ~_~;;; We should try swedish beer for next time to come Sweden. It makes our motivation for retry to come sweden again.

We also have dinner in our room also in denmark. However, I have no photo for dinner in room as following reason. We try to take dinner in our room. (it was easier to find supermarket than stockholm and more difficult than helsinki. However, the supermarkets did not have any precooked food as above photo. So, we try to take some breads and chips for dinner. Well, we try to find other super market in copenhagen. Many people who have experience to come to cpenhagen might know Ittara which is a supermarket and famuse for tourist. It is not cheep market but they have many trendy or fasionable foods. Ittara are located in center of copenhagen. They have several precooked foods and we try to take on send day.We were too tired for taking photo ^^;;;;;

We walked average 25,000 steps for each day for shiteseeing. So, we got too tired ~_~;;;;;

2015 09 : Trip to Europa : Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany : Opening version

Last two week,we were in trip to North Europa and Germany from 21/09/2015 to 03/10/2015.
We had many experience and got many cultural gap between europa and japan.

So, I will write about them from next my post not only in english (here) but also in japanese (on another blog)

Our trip overview is following.

21 Sept. Narita (Japan) ----> Copenhagen (denmark) ------> Helsinki (Finland)

the day was only for moving from japan to north europa. scandinavia airline.

22 Sept -23 Helsinki

23 Sept - 24 Helsinki ---> Stockholm (Sweden)

We use Silija ( http://www.tallinksilja.com/en/web/int/book-a-cruise ) for for moving.

It is night cruise from 17:00 to 9:30. And we met with my friend at the morning.

24 Sept - 26 Stockholm

26 Seot Stockholm ---> Copenhagen (Denmark)

26 Sep - 28 Copenhagen

28 Sept Copenhagen ---> Hamburg (germany) ---> Frankfurt (germany)

We used railway for moving. (ICE). From Copenhargen to Frankfurt, we need to change train on Hamburg. So, we stopped on Hambrug and sightseeing for half of day. And we move to Frankfrut.

29 Sept Frankfurt ---> Keln (Germany) ---> Frankfurt

We made day trip to Keln by railway for not only sightseeing but also for meeting with my friend.

30 Sept Frankfurt ---> Bilen (Denmark)

We move to Bilen airport by air plain on last flight, We went LegoLand

1 Oct Bilen ---> Copenhagen

We stay bilen for several hours and then move to Copenhagen by train (IC)

2 Oct Copenhagen ----> Narita

Our flight was around noon. So, we went to airport earlier and then play in airport.

Like as above, the views are imagined as a seen of edo period.

And such small street, there is many small restaurants. like following photos. I think there are so expensive restaurants around there......~_~;;;;

And main street of Kagurazaka, there is a taiyaki shop.　Taiyaki is a japanese sweets which is used red beans. If you like sweets and beans, I think you like this sweet. Taiyaki is so hot, because it is cooked just before serving.

Deers, Nara

Nara is one of a the most famous sightseeing area in japan. It is very historical city as kyoto. But nara is much older city in japan to compare with kyoto.

There is many temples, ancient tomb ............ and deers. In some case and some area, deers are tagged as harmful animal. Because they eat many agricultural products and skin of trees. However, in Nara, deers are protected by law in the nara local government. I dont remember very well, but because deers are pet of one of budda,

Deers can be stay freely. And some sellers who provide food for deers are around Todaiji (the largest daibutu in japan). Deers already know that tourists give foods to deers. So, deers come to tourists for getting foods, even if a tourist do not have any foods. And if deers detect that the tourist do not have any foods then deers stopping to come ^^;;; they know very well

Some people who has kids were worried to bring your kinds to around deers. Because deers have strong horns for fighting. However, basically, most deers that have strong feeling are cut there horns by Nara governent staff for safety. So, if you do not make big and noisy action to deers, most case you are not have problem. However, be careful your tourism map and guide book. Deers take your papers and eat......~_~;;;

Photo quality of cameras : Mobile phone vs Digital camera

I have a plan to go trip for bit long period. And, we are considering to take photo and make trip blogs and vlogs.

In such condition, we are considering how many cameras do we need more. Actually, to add more is not realistic ^^; So, we reconsider how our cameras we will be able to use.

Today, I compare my digital camera which I use when I go to cycling (this mean that I don't feel so sad even if it is broken) and mobile phone's camera quality.
I wrote about sea zoo last time. We took many photos and videos using 2 digital cameras and two mobile phones. So, I use there photos, now.

1st, I add photos which is take to use mobile phone..

This shot is not so bad. This is enough usable on my blog.

But, this is not clear..... there are large glass and large volume of water between us. We can know what is that. but it is not enough clear...

Source of light is from opposite side. I think this shot is much better than digital camera. Because a photo which is take digital camera is take more clearly. This seen is looked more mysterious.

I think we can enough use mobile phone for taking photo for blog. But, we also need to pick good photos when we select seen. So, we should take much more photo than digital camera. I think it is not bad.

And followings are taken to use digital camera

To compare with photos which are taken mobile phone, the photo is much more clear. We can see light clearly even if the source of light is opposite side.

I use zoom function. But, the photo is clear. Speed of shutter is much faster than mobile phone. So we can take much more photos for a seen. However, it is more difficult to keep focus than mobile phone. I missed many seen when I want to take photo. because the camera could not make focus and I retry to make focus. I retry to do several times, finally the fish go far place.

One of my result of camera choosing is my cheap digital camera and mobile camera are enough to take photo on trip.

However, i did not check videos. So, I will compare there videos. And..... I also will check between my digital camera and another digital camera.

Well, I describe about why I choice my digital camera. My camera use two AA size batteries. We can use rechargable battery as eneloop. So, we can have many extra batteries. And if all of them are used, however we can buy from convenience stores. Usually, I forget to charge batteries, so it is much easy to use AA size of battery.

Osaka : sea zoo : Kaiyu-kan

We went to Osaka last week end for meeting with my family. And, to see a sea zoo which is the largest class of sea zoo in japan. Because my wife wanted to see Whale shark (ジンベイザメ ) which is the largest fish in the world.

This is a whale shark

The shark came to Kaiyu-kan last month. Because, there were two whole shark but sadly there were dead. So, two of new whole sharks came again.

The shark is one of the most famous life in Kaiyu-kan. You can see them more clearly if you go there. The water tank is third floor level on building of height. And they are many fishes in same water tank. And our camera is not so good. So there photo is not clear ^_^;

Not only whale sharks but also penguins are also famous life in the Kaiyukan.

Some kind of penguins are same place and we can easily compare there difference. On there pictures, we can see only one or two kinds of penguins. But, there are three or four (not sure) kind of penguins are there

Total rout of seeing in Kaiyukan is almost 1km.
So, you can see many fishes

The place of Kaiyukan is just bay side. So you can walk around Kaiyukan (Osaka bay) after going out from there.
