The computer finishes the install and then prompts for a reboot. The computer will start to reboot then give a BSOD Stop Error for a second and reboot again. This process will continue unless the computer is started in Safe Mode. In Safe mode the computer boots correctly and everything seems fine.

This problem only appears on some systems after upgrading to SP3. This particular problem on systems that have been prepared with SysPrep. The sysprep image was created on an Intel based computer, and then the sysprep image is deployed on a Non-Intel system such as an AMD processor. In these cases, the registry entry for Intelppm is incorrectly set and causes the computer to go into a continuous reboot after the service pack has installed

How Can I Solve This Problem?

Follow these steps to resolve this issue with the computer not booting correctly after SP3 is installed.

1) Start your computer in Safe Mode.

2) Click on Start, Run, and type REGEDIT and press Enter. On the Internet, a mirror site is an exact copy of another Internet site. Mirror sites are most commonly used to provide multiple sources of the same information, and are of particular value as a way of providing reliable access to large downloads. Mirroring is a type of file synchronization.
A live mirror is automatically updated as soon as the original is changed.

A good example of mirroring is the well-known SourceForge.net website. The basis of the Sourceforge concept is, primarily, the hosting of open-source software projects, but secondarily the use of many different locations to achieve one goal: to maintain download availability to the user. Many innovative computer projects host their sites and software on SourceForge, which provides mirrors in several countries, from Dublin, Ireland to Tokyo, Japan.
Examples of even larger mirrored networks include those of the Debian and FreeBSD software projects. The encyclopedia Wikipedia is mirrored at numerous locations.
Examples of free file mirroring sites are MassMirror, Sharebee.com. They allow anyone to mirror any file.

Disk mirroring:- In data storage, disk mirroring or RAID1 is the replication of logical disk volumes onto separate physical hard disks in real time to ensure continuous availability. A mirrored volume is a complete logical representation of separate volume copies.
In a Disaster Recovery context, mirroring data over long distance is referred to as storage replication. Depending on the technologies used, replication can be performed synchronously, asynchronously, semi-synchronously, or point-in-time. Replication is enabled via microcode on the disk array controller or via server software. It is typically a proprietary solution, not compatible between various storage vendors.

Because network bandwidth speed test applications are used to point out the problem and help to deploy network monitoring system to improve your bandwidth management. Your bandwidth speed can affect your business performance, especially if you have a business Web site you maintain on your home network.

If your are using wireless cable internet connection that result will different with regular cable internet connection. With a registry hack, this task can be done with a simple right-click. Navigate to

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/ Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Explorer/Advanced

and create a new 32-bit DWORD. This hack will limit the number of windows that are rendered in 3D, which will hopefully let you have your cake and eat it too.

Navigate to

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM

And create a new DWORD value called Max3DWindows. The value should be set to a number between 4 and 9:

higher the number the more muscle your graphics card needs to pack. The patch protects against a remoteattack on a Windows service. Windows 2000, Windows 2003 Server, andWindows XP (even with the latest Service Packs) are particularlyvulnerable. Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 are affected aswell, although not to the same degree.Specifically, this vulnerability concerns the Server Service inWindows and can be attacked through a Remote Procedure Call (RPC)where a virus writer can craft a unique worm to run code on yoursystem without your authorization. Although Firewalls can helpprevent this remote attack, you should still download theappropriate patch for your version of Windows as soon as possible. This attack is similar to the widespread Blaster and Sasser wormsthat circled the globe in 2003 and 2004. According to one report, there are already nine different strains of viruses trying to usethis vulnerability to attack your computer. I will post informationabout this attack as I learn more. In the mean time, please visitthe following page to download the appropriate patch for yourversion of Windows. Scroll down to the Affected Software sectionand click on your particular operating system to download the patch.
http://clicks.aweber.com/y/ct/?l=Hua4O&m=1dN6_H..W_Y1Yz&b=4ICOmd9HR1U4_K.As6kJrg

Under the Shortcut tab, enter your own key combination, such as Ctrl+6, in the "Shortcut key" field. If the combination you choose is already taken, Windows selects something similar.

2
Eliminate animations
Ending useless animations in Windows will improve performance. Right-click the desktop, choose Properties, and then the Appearance tab. Click the Effects button and make sure everything is unchecked in the next window.
3
Terminate indexing
For a slight speed boost, try disabling Windows' Indexing, a feature that keeps a record of all files on your hard drive. Go to Control Panel > Performance and Maintenance > Administrative Tools, and double-click Services. Scroll down to Indexing Service, then double-click it. In the General tab, select Disabled from the "Startup type" pull-down menu and click OK.
4
Instant copies
You can quickly burn a CD using Windows' integrated applet. To begin, go to Start > My Music, and navigate to the folder with the tunes you want to burn, if you're not already there. On the left side of the window, select "Copy all items to CD," or highlight the songs you want to burn and click Copy to Audio CD. You can also copy a single song by right-clicking the file and selecting Copy to CD or Device.
5
Custom slide show
Windows XP lets you create your own slide-show-based screensaver. First, drag and drop the pictures you'd like to use into your My Pictures folder, located inside the My Documents folder. Now, right-click an empty space on your desktop and choose Properties. Click the Screen Saver tab, and from within the pull-down menu, highlight the My Pictures Slideshow option. The Settings button lets you adjust parameters such as size and transition effects. Click Preview for a quick demonstration or click OK to activate your screensaver.
6
A tidier taskbar
You can lump open windows belonging to the same application within a single taskbar icon by right-clicking the taskbar, selecting Properties and checking the "Group similar taskbar buttons" box. If you want to synchronise immediately, click Update Now.
9
Apps in an instant
For one-click access to frequently used apps, right-click the taskbar, select Toolbars and check Quick Launch. This can be cleared or paused on your end, but it will still be saved on the Google server. It's in their Privacy Policy:
"You can delete information from My Search History, and it will be removed from the service and no longer available to you. However, as is common practice in the industry, and as outlined in the Google Privacy Policy, Google maintains a separate logs system for auditing purposes and to help us improve the quality of our services for users."
So, if you have a Personalized Google Homepage, here's how to at least manage history items on your end...
Click the "My Search History" link then "Remove Items". Put a check next to the items on the list you want removed, or select "All". Finally, hit the "Remove" button.
If you don't want Search History activated, just click the "Pause" link. Again, the search info still goes to Google, but it doesn't show up in your search history display. To turn S.H. back on just hit "Resume".
As I mentioned, the Google Toolbar also keeps your history, but it doesn't track you like the Personalized Homepage. To turn off...
Go to the "Options" button and select the "Search" tab.
Uncheck "drop down search history", "Save the search history...", and "Automatically search..."
Hit OK.
Now your toolbar searches are known only to you. As for the personal homepage searches... at least no one outside of Google or the government can see what you looked up.

Your can solve this problem by increasing the system paging file size also called as virtual memory. This will free up enough RAM for other programs to run properly.

To increase the system page file follow the give path:

Control Panel > System > Advanced > Click on Settings (Under Performance) > Advanced > Change
Here under Drive (Volume label), you have option to select any of your hard disk drive, but the best choice is, select any drive other than C drive for virtual memory.

Set the double Initial & Maximum Size of your Virtual Memory.
