Does anyone else find it ironic that President Obama went through hell with regard to producing his birth certificate...which he did. But PEOTUS continues to refuse to release his tax returns by claiming that he is being audited. And now especially since there are allegations of wrong doings with Russia. So last night at the Golden Globes Meryl Streep gave a speech and criticized President Elect Donald Trump. And Meryl and Hillary are homegirls too! Meryl told Hillary "don't worry girl...I got you. Now sit back and watch orange babyhands throw a twitter tantrum with his unpresidential azz." And his usual thin skinned fashion - he responded on twitter at 3 am. Working on my Life

If you ask me, what I am doing, I will always say that I am 'working on my life.' Because my life is an evolving process. Every since I got laid off from Jefferson County in June 2011, I have been working very hard to find decent employment that would allow me to pay may bills and maintain my standard of living. To say that it has been a struggle, is an understatement.

In retrospect, I know that I have applied for at least 1000+ jobs. I have probably been on 30 interviews. I have taken so many civil service exams that they should have a sheet with my name on it. But I remain focused. I have taken jobs that I was 'overqualified' to do simply because I needed to work. I have taken jobs that I don't like because I needed the money. I go through cycles in that once I get a job a take a break from the job search just to give myself a break from completing online applications and getting online rejections.

Some say that they don't see the progress. And to be honest, I really don't care what those on the outside see, because I know what I am doing to accomplish. So until I get that goal job, I will keep working on my life....

Waiting on the Trump Voter's Remorse

My momma said that if you can't say something good about somebody then don't say it but EVERY TIME Trump does something, especially something that is really, really stupid I can only come up with cuss words. And I am trying so hard to say positive things about him but he is trying the limits of my extensive vocabulary.

When did the winner of the Presidential election start going on a victory tour? WTH? His cabinet appointments are like he is interviewing people for Celebrity... Cabinet. The Jeff Sessions appointment left me just speechless ( but then again ...) (Sarah Palin for Sec of the VA). He makes announcements like he is at a WWE match (again). And can someone please seize his phone and get him off of Twitter ASAP!!!! He poses a threat to our national security.

He has no respect for policy, procedure, or protocol. He will lie in a minute. (He knows good and damn well that he called the President of Taiwan) And that lack of respect is going to end up costing this country a lot of $$$ and much, much more. He is already costing NY taxpayers millions to secure Trump Tower. I can't wait until the voters’ remorse sets in on all those that voted for him...because its coming. Am I Too Nice?

Sometimes I think that I am too nice. On too many occasions I have been told that I am too nice and that I should confront a person when we disagree. I have always lived my life by the philosophy of choosing my own battles. And as an adult I tend to choose them wisely. With so many women looking at reality television shows like Real Housewives, Mob Wives, Bad Girls Club it almost makes you fearful to confront someone because of a fear of a physical attack.
I am not a fighter and I never have been.

And then there are those that like to go at you via text message or via FaceBook. I mean really! I am a master of the English language. And given the opportunity I can blister a person with my use of the words. But again, I try to refrain from such Verbal Beatdowns.

I mean, I am almost 50 years old. My ass is to old to be fighting in the streets or FaceBook fighting. So with that, if some say I am too nice - then so be it. I call it being a GROWN ASS WOMAN.

Winter Storm 2014

I'm back!!!! And I have a lot on my mind. First of all let me say, that the last 2 years of my life have been quite interesting. I am now the grandmother of a beautiful baby girl, Addison Oliva Grace Turnbough. I have been working as a probation officer for a private probation company. I rescued a beautiful, 5 yo Doberman named Ms Diamond. Too bad I didn't write about it. I had some good days and some bad days. I have loved and lost.

But now, I have decided that I needed to be my OWN motivating factor. I will be working on my annual fundraiser for Walk MS 2014 with TeamDiva4MS trying to find a better paying job, being Addison's grandmother, and finally more motorcycle riding. I plan to post my favorite quotes by my favorite people. I will be posting my favorite pics. And of course I will share my PERSONAL OPINION on the day's top topics.

Wow!!!! Whitney Houston is gone. A beautiful voice is now silent. My her soul RIP.

She was the epitome of poise and class but she could go straight hood when necessary. Whitney was a talented woman. She had the voice of an angel. She looked like a super model. I hope that people will remember her for her timeless music and not her tragic mistakes. I know I will.

Although everyone thinks that her voice was gone, I do not agree. I enjoyed her last CD as much as her first. During my trouble times this song has given me encouragement when there was no one there to encourage me. Her music was the songbook of many women's lives including mine. So, again, I hope that people will allow her to rest peacefully in eternity.

My MS Birthday

Today 1/27/11 is my MS birthday. One year ago today I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and my life changed forever. I celebrate the fact that I am doing well overall. This is just another example of a complete and total disrespect of the President of the United States. Now if he would have (should have) cussed her out then she would have really been upset. But then to use it to try to gain leverage among republican voters who despise President Obama is even further disrespectful.
