Here is a very funny video a friend who works for a media agency sent me. It takes the dramatic court scene from the movie A Few Good Men; starring Jack Nicholson, Tom Cruise and Demi Moore; and dubs it over with comedic effect. Instead of talking about the military protection of the USA and what it takes to lead men in that job, we have a guy talking as if he runs an ad agency.

I hope you enjoyed this funny viral video, I am sure if you work in the ad business it rang a little true too.

I have been told I am poo obsessed; my brother and girlfriend giive me grief over this. I even get birthday cards with poo jokes from them. Well, I do enjoy a good poop joke and whilst I know this is rather immature, I can’t see this changing any time soon. I can look at websites like the now discontinued RateMyPoo.com, as well as PoopPrank.com and chuckle away childishly to myself so in the hope that someone else out there also finds poop funny here are some funny poop pictures which categorize the different types:

1) Two blondes living in Oklahoma were sitting on a bench talking, and one blonde says to the other, ‘Which do you think is farther away… Florida or the moon?’ The other blonde turns and says ‘Helloooooooooo, can you see Florida ?????’

2) A police officer stops a blonde for speeding and asks her very nicely if he could see her license.

She replied in a huff, ‘I wish you guys would get your act together. Just yesterday you take away my license and then today you expect me to show it to you!’

3) A gorgeous young blond goes into the doctor’s office and said that her body hurt wherever she touched it.

‘Impossible!’ says the doctor, ‘Show me.’

The blond took her finger, pushed on her left shoulder and screamed, then she pushed her elbow and screamed even more. She pushed her knee and screamed; then she pushed her ankle and screamed. Everywhere she touched made her scream.

4) A blonde was playing Trivial Pursuit one night… It was her turn. She rolled the dice and she landed on Science & Nature. Her question was, ‘If you are in a vacuum and someone calls your name, can you hear it?’ She thought for a time and then asked, ‘Is it on or off?’

You may remember the previous hilarious Ameriquestad, showing someone innocently getting into a situation where it looked as if they were doing something bad and saying ‘don’t judge too quickly’. I love these funny Ameriquest commercials and plan on showing all my favourite ones here, so keep an eye out for more in the future, but to get you started here is the latest funny viral video from the mortgage company with a sense of humour.

That classic Queen hit Bohemian Rhapsody has been a popular sing along song since well before the head bopping in Garth’s car in the first Wayne’s World film. Well those guys at College Humor have taken it to the next level with this funny parody, Brohemian Rhapsody. The brotastic frat party hit that will have you humming and nodding your head in no time; plus the lternative lyrics are hilarious.

5 very badly placed adverts

Have a look below at some very poorly placed adverts. What were the media buyers thinking? Maybe they are not able to control what goes up next to their chosen spots, but some of them sure are strange.

This first one shows a lovely white pair of cotton panties being advertised on the side of a bus, that has driven through a puddle and splashed muddy water all over the aforementioned panties. Nice…. not!

We follow that advertising disaster with this poorly selected contextual online advertisement that sees a news story about child abuse next to an advert featuring the picture of a schoolgirl and the slogan “Remember your very first girlfriend?”.

That epic ad fail is followed by this the also inept positioning of a cancer charity billboard featuring above a huge cigarette advertisement. What were they thinking?

And the fails just keep on failing… Next up a McDonalds special bulk offer next to a child obesity advert. I’m sure neither organisation is lovin’ that positioning.

And finally we have a slightly more techie joke as a Yahoo! ad gets placed next to a sign with 404 on it. A 404 error is an error code that means that what you are looking for cannot be found (HTTP standard response code indicating that the client was able to communicate with the server, but the server could not find what was requested).

Whilst these ad placements are funny and sometimes very ironic, there is also the possibility to upset people in this politically correct age we live in. I am surprised I have not heard more stories of media sellers being sued for the spots they give. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed them.

An inter-office softball game was held every year between the Marketing Department and support staff of one company.

The day of the game, as hard as the Marketers tried, the support staff whipped the Marketing Department soundly.

In their best tradition, the Marketing Department decided to find the best “spin” they could on the dismal result. They showed exactly how they earn their keep by posting this memo on the company intranet after the game:

“The Marketing Department is pleased to announce that for the recently-completed Softball Season, we came in 2nd place, having lost just one game all year.

The Support Department, however, had a rather dismal season, as they won only one game all year.”

Unfortunate names exist, that is a fact, however sometimes it seems like someone was having a bit of a chuckle when they named this park. I am talking about Dildo Run Provincial Park on New World Island in Canada. Anyway, I wanted to share this funny sign with you, just in case you had never heard of the place.
