Whiteside and his wife, Cappy (B.S.B.A. 1965), have made a gift of $50,000 toward the Access Arkansas initiative, which will help students with financial need who are committed to staying in school.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[The Garrison Financial Institute, in partnership with the Fayetteville Public Library, is looking for volunteers between the ages of 50 and 70 to be part of a team of discussion facilitators for a new retirement investment education program. The program is made possible by a grant from the Investor Protection Trust. Facilitators should not be financial professionals, but should have good people skills and be interested in retirement investment issues. Volunteers will receive one day of training and a free 12-month subscription to <em>Kiplinger</em>&rsquo;s retirement report, a $60 value. The Garrison Financial Institute is housed in the Sam M. The graduation success rates for all NCAA institutions were released on Wednesday as well as the six-year Federal Graduation rate for each institution. The most recent federal graduation rate for the University of Arkansas, 49 percent, is based on scholarship student-athletes that enrolled full time in 2002.]]></description>

The transit and parking department has two new 32-passenger buses available for excursions, transfers, tours, trips or other general use. These buses are in addition to Razorback Transit buses, which have certain federal restrictions involving charter use.  These two new buses can be chartered without federal restrictions.  If you have chartered from us before and have recently been turned down, or are a new customer, please consider us as an option for your next group activity. Charter rates are $85 an hour with a two-hour minimum.  Information on chartering can be obtained by calling our charter representative, A.J. Bellard at 575-7913.]]></description>
