Galaxy Star comes with a 2.9 inch TFT touchscreen display with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The device runs on Android Jelly Bean operating system and is powered by 512 MB RAM and A5 1GHz processor.

The internal storage capacity of the handset is 4 GB, but it can be expanded up to 32 GB with a microSD card. It sports a 2 MP rear camera. For connectivity purpose, it has Bluetooth, Wi fi and USB among others.

Galaxy Star, which is a dual SIM smartphone, comes with features like Quick Office, Instant Messaging, Document Viewer, ChatON, Google Play Store, and Pushmail (ActiveSync) among many others. It comes with a 1200 mAh battery that offers around 14 hours talktime on 2G and 320 hours standby time on 2G.

The Xperia Tablet Z comes with a 10.1 inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200. The device runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and is powered by 2 GB RAM and 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor quad core processor.  The storage capacity of the device can be expanded with a microSD card.

Xperia Tablet Z sports an 8.1 mega pixel rear shooter with LED flash and Exmor R imaging technology. The device is powered by a 6000 mAh battery. The tablet is just 6.9 mm think and weighs around 495 grams. Xperia Tablet Z is available in two colors -
black and white.

Xolo Q1000 sports a five inch IPS, scratch resistant Dragon Trail glass display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. This dual SIM phone runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. The smartphone is powered by PowerVR SGX544 graphics processor and 1 GB RAM.

Q1000 comes with a 8 mega pixel rear shooter along with BSI sensor and LED flash. It also sports a front facing 1.2 mega pixel shooter. The internal storage capacity of the device is 4 GB, but this can be expanded up to 32 GB with a microSD. It comes with a 2100 mAh battery. for connectivity purpose, it has 3G, Bluetooth 4.0 and wi fi.

Xolo Q1000 wound be the third quad core smartphone by the company. Earlier, they launched Q700 and Q800.

Sahara has not just decided to pull out of the IPL, they will also not sponsor the Indian national cricket team after December 2013. In a statement, Sahara said that they would not renew their Team India sponsorship contract that ends in December 2013.

Sahara bought the IPL franchise in the year 2010 with a record amount of Rs. 1700 crore. They stated that they were not happy with BCCI’s attitude and they would not rethink about their decision. In 2010, Sahara bought the team on the basis of revenue calculation on 94 games, but later it was reduced to 64 matches. Sahara added that the BCCI turned a deaf ear to their pleas for reducing the franchise fee.

21st May, 2013, New Delhi: Nokia Asha 210, which sports a dedicated Whatsapp button, is expected to launch on 31st May in India. The device has been spotted with some of the Indian online sellers. Nokia Asha 210, which is a QWERTY smartphone, sports 2.4 inch display. This is the very first smartphone in the world that comes with a dedicated WhatsApp button.

According to reports, the Finnish mobile phone maker has partnered with WhatsApp to provide service for free. Asha 210 supports Wi fi. For connectivity options, it also offers 2G, micro USB and Bluetooth.

Asha 210 comes with a 2 mega pixel rear shooter which can be accessed with a dedicated key even if the keyboard is locked. The camera also offers image editing as well as sharing (on social networks) options.

The device will reportedly have single SIM and dual SIM variants and it will be available in 5 different colors – yellow, white, black, cyan and pink. The price of the handset will be around Rs. 4000.

Sony Xperia UL sports a 5 inch Reality display with a 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. The device runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and is powered by 2 GB RAM and 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 APQ8064 quad core processor.

It comes with a 13.1 mega pixel rear camera as well as a front facing VGA camera. Xperia UL’s internal storage capacity is 16 GB, but this can be expandable up to 64 GB with a microSD card. For connectivity purpose, it has 2G, 3G, NFC (near field communication), 4G LTE as well as Infrared connectivity options. It also comes with a 2300 mAh battery.

According to reports, the device will hit Japan on 25th May, but it is no known when it will be available in other markets as well. The smartphone will be available in white, black and pink.

The Indian Prime Minister added that both India and China were committed to peace along the border. The special representatives of both countries would consider further measures which is required for peace and tranquility along the border.

On the other hand, Chinese Premier stated that regional stability and peace cannot be possible without both India and China’s mutual trust.
