Computer infected with a virus

I haven't been keeping up to date with my blogs because I'm trying to fight of a computer virus. I think I might have isolated it but I won't know for sure until I completely remove it and reboot my computer. I'm scanning it right now, and I hope this will solve the problem.

Apparently I didn't have one of the patches installed on my computer and I think that's what made it vulnerable to the virus.

I'll keep you updated as I try to fix it.

My Nintendo Wii Work Out

It's time for my Nintendo Wii Jillian Michaels workout. It's been about a week and a half since I started the Jillian Michaels workout. I'm trying to workout at least 3 times a week, but so far I've done it 4 times last week and 4 times this week.

According to the game, I burn about 200 calories each session. I don't know if that's a lot, but I really feel the burn while working out. At the end of each session, I'm totally sweating, and it's only 30 minutes. I never worked out that hard with my other work out routines.

So far, I'm still stuck at 147 lbs. At least I'm not gaining weight... Right?

Going Out Tonight

Tonight I'm going out with my best friend. We haven't gone out in a while, we've both been really busy with work, and other stuff.

She's been trying to have a baby, but hasn't had any luck yet. I know she wants to tell me in person when she does get pregnant, so I'm hoping she'll have good news to tell me tonight. I don't want to nag her about it, so I really don't ask her about it. Her family does enough nagging, with her sisters and mother asking her every month if she's pregnant or not.

I really hope she gets pregnant soon. I know she really wants children and she's getting older so it's definitely harder for her. And I know she will make a really great mom.

The Michael Jackson memorial today at the Staples center was so sad. I lost it when his daughter Paris said how much she missed him. It was so sad. He's really going to be missed by a lot of people.

Recycling - Aluminum only = $8.16

Just because I haven't written about my recycling efforts recently, doesn't mean I haven't been doing it. I forgot to post the last few times, but I think I got around $15 or so, each time I recycled.

Today, I brought my recyclables but they were only taking aluminum cans. They do that sometimes, I don't know why, but it's kind of annoying. I was all geared up to empty out my trunk, it's full of bags of recyclables.

At least I got rid of the aluminum, and I got $8.16 for a small bag of crushed cans. Not too bad, and enough to buy my lunch for today.

Today I decided to donate all of my earnings from my blogs to charity. I have been pondering this decision for some time, and I finally decided to just do it. I don't need the money I earn from my blogs, plus it's not that much any way, so why not give it to some one who needs it more.

The last few months I've been writing, dropping cards on EC, and trying to promote my blog to make more money, instead of just blogging for the fun of it. The blogging became a chore, and I didn't want to do it anymore. Plus my wrists are hurting from being on the computer all day, and trying to drop as many cards as I could.

It's going to be difficult for me to keep track of exactly how much I earn for charity, but I found a few apps that I will try out. I haven't decided for sure which charities I want to raise money for, but I have it narrowed down to 3 or 4. I might just rotate them around so that each of them gets part of the earnings.

If you have any comments or suggestions, please post them here. All feedback is welcomed. Thanks to everyone who has supported me in the past, and who will support me, and my charities, in the future.

Back from Las vegas

I'm back from Las Vegas and I had a great time. It was so relaxing. I went swimming and did some gambling, of course, and got to stay up late, and wake up late, which I love.

But I'm glad to be back, not back to work, but back home.

I will try to get some pictures uploaded to my computer so that I can post them here.

Wii Fit Exercises Took a Break Last Week

I've been so bad this week. I worked a lot of overtime and so I wasn't able to exercise as much as I should have. Today is my only day off and I am forcing myself to get back on track exercising again.

I am afraid to get on my Wii Fit for fear that I've gained back the few pounds that I had lost. The next 2 days I will be walking at work, along with doing my Wii Fit exercises, so hopefully I can get back to losing weight, and reaching my goal of 125 pounds.

EC problems means less dropping for everyone

Well I'm not going to drop if I'm not going to get credit for it. I can't distinguished who has or hasn't dropped on me so that I can drop back on them. Until EC fixes this problem, my dropping is going to be minimal or non-existant.

EC Drop Inbox Acting Strange

Something's wrong with my Entrecard inbox. When I try to see only the sites I haven't dropped on, I see all the blogs, even the ones I've already dropped. I want to go through them and click on blogs that I haven't dropped on yet, but it seems like I've already dropped on all of them.

Is any one else having this problem? It's strange, and I don't know if I did something wrong, or if it's a glitch in the EC system.

EC paid ad got on my blog somehow

I had to remove the "No Paid EC Ads" title above my EC card because I found a paid ad being displayed on my blog. I know I rejected all paid ads but somehow the paid ad was up on my widget. I don't know if it was an error, but I will keep an eye out from now on to make sure that my advertisers get 100% of the page views when they advertise on my blog.

Nintendo Wii - Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum 2009 or My Fitness Coach

I've been doing pretty well with my Nintendo Wii exercise routine, but I think I need something more. Right now I'm only using the Wii Fit game that the board came with, and it's okay, but I think I need something more challenging.

I have lost 5 pound since I started on the Wii exercise routing, but I think I could lose more, faster, if I had a better program to follow. The yoga, strength, aerobic, and balance exercises on the Wii Fit do not get my heart rate up, and can sometimes feel a little mundane. I need more of a challenge, I need to sweat more.

So, I've decided to get either the Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum 2009 or the My Fitness Coach games for the Nintendo Wii, but I'm not sure which one to get. I've decided on those 2 because they are both relatively inexpensive, and I've seen some videos on youtube that show what the game is about, and I seem to like both. I didn't really care for the Gold's Gym video, so that one is out of the picture. And the EA Sports game that just came out is around $60 and that's just too much.

If anyone out there has either of these games, I would love to hear your input, good or bad. Or if anyone would like to sell their game for Entrecard credits, I would be happy to purchase it from you. Just post it in the EC market place, and send me the link so I can check it out.

How will I celebrate Mother's day? I'm going to cook a special dinner for my Mom. She always cooks such delicious meals for us, I hope my cooking will be half as good as hers. I know she'll enjoy it either way because for once, she won't have to cook and clean herself.

I can't say that there is any one President that I absolutely love/loved. However, in my lifetime, I would choose Bill Clinton. Even though he had some indiscretions, he was a good President. And no one's perfect. Unlike other Presidents, he just caught.

Entrecard Cashout - DENIED!

I finally got a response from the Entrecard team regarding my cash out application.

The result: DENIED!

Apparently I didn't fill out the application completely because I didn't want to give them my Social Security number over an unsecured website. The funny thing is that when I filled out the application, the field where you enter your SS# was not one of the "required" fields, it didn't have the asterisk * next to it.

Any way, I did try to see if I could reapply, and give them all my private information, but when I click the link, I get an error message saying:

"You have already filled out a CashOut programme form or reached the application limit"

and also:

"Page not found The page you're looking for does not appear to exist. "

So even if I did want to reapply, and give them my private SS#, it looks like I may not be able to, or I may have to wait a certain amount of time to reapply. Either way, I won't be cashing out my credits, instead I will use them to purchase items in the market place, like advertising and links, or hopefully someone will want to sell their Nintendo Wii games and I can buy some of those.

Has the Swine Flu been overly publicized by the Media, Potentially causing mass panic?

I'm sure the swine flu is a serious virus, but why does the media have to publicize it like it's the next black plague. It's a flu virus. Yes people have died from it, but people also die from getting the regular flu virus too. And people also recover from the swine flu, just like the regular flu.

Why did so many people die from the swine flu in Mexico? Who knows? But the fact is that people here in the U.S. have gotten the swine flu and recovered from it with no problem.

The Media is scaring people into a panic over something that might just disappear with in a few weeks. After all, there have been reports of swine flu in the past, even "serious" outbreaks of it, but then it just went away, and everyone forgot about it, until now. This is not a new, unknown, virus to be feared. As long as people take care of themselves, and go see their doctor if they think they have the flu, everything will be okay, and we can move on with our lives.

Entrecard Cash Out - What's taking so long???

I've been dropping on Entrecard for a little while now, and I've accumulated quite a few points. So, I decided to sign up for the cash out, and I am still waiting to hear from them. Does anyone know how long this is going to take? I heard that some people have cashed out, but I don't know how long they waited, or when they applied.

I was a little hesitant to apply for cash out because they asked for some personal information, like social security number, but I'm hoping they will not need that information since here in the US we don't have to report the income if it's less than $600.

Anyway, I'm still waiting, and a little curious as to why it's taking so long. I might not even cash out, but if I want to, it's a nice option to have.
