Police: A truck carrying 100 monkeys crashes, leaving some of them orphaned.

A truck transporting around 100 monkeys was involved in an accident in Pennsylvania, according to state police, and investigators are looking for at least three of the monkeys who appear to have escaped the vehicle.

According to Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Andrea Pelachick of the Daily Item, the truck transporting the mobkeys collided with a dump truck in the afternoon in Montour County.

Residents who may have seen the monkeys are advised to contact state police at 570-524-2662.

The incident did not appear to have hurt any persons or animals.

Authorities say two New York City police officers were shot in Harlem on Friday night, just days after a 16-year-old kid reportedly shot another cop in the Bronx.

According to the USGS and Alaska Earthquake Center, the quake struck at 8:18 p.m. on the west side of the inlet at a depth of 64 miles. The epicentre of the earthquake was located 41 miles west of Kenai.

The magnitude was first recorded as 4.8, but it was later revised to 5.1.

On the Kenai Peninsula and in Anchorage, it was felt. There were no early reports of damage, and no tsunami warnings were issued.

In the middle of it all, a recent announcement from the Mars candy business, which claims that its renowned M&M figures would have more "nuanced personalities" in the future, is a little unsettling.

Tanglewood Music Center, Symphony Orchestra, Is Back

When this popular Berkshire Hills music venue reopens for a full season 2022, you won't want to miss it.

The Boston Symphony Orchestra has announced its Tanglewood season for 2022, and it's a complete season for the first time since 2019.

The Lenox-based music facility will host a summer season of concerts from June 17 to September 4, as well as reopening Ozawa Hall and the Linde Center for public performances.

The Tanglewood 2022 season features a wide range of programmes and works by living composers, as well as a diverse lineup of conductors, performers, and composers, as well as a robust Popular Artist series in the Koussevitzky Music Shed (look for musical legends like Ringo Starr, Bonnie Raitt, and James Taylor to kick off the season on July 17).

"It's actually difficult to create algorithms that can run through a million light curves and correctly detect single transit events," according to Paul Dalba of the University of California, Riverside. When a planet passes in front of a star from our perspective, it is called a single transit event, but computer algorithms look for planets by recognising several transit events from a single star.
