The View of all the land

The place is covered with green grass as like the above picture looks like, then the background are the famous mountains, the scenery was beautiful & is cool up there too. The first day we reached Qing Jing, we took the local transit according to their schedule and reach here. We started from up the hill, there are lots of sheeps, cute sheeps & baby sheeps can easily seen all around. Of course you may hug them if you want, hahaha… you may feed them as well, just grab some grass from the ground will do, more pictures as below:

Yes, i’d arrived in Taiwan! I meet up with Jesse after taking my luggage on the lobby, we quickly buy bus ticket heading to Tai Chung. But i’m abit tired after the 4 hours flight by MH.

Here is my Taiwan first visit place: Feng Chia Night Market

The Starting Point

In Taiwan, night market is very common in every places. Especially on weekends, you will be having a “Human Traffic Jam” on this type of night market. No Joke! I was quite hungry by the time, so i quickly look for some hot soup smoothies to warm up my stomach, here i found:

Dang Gui Duck Noodle

Fried Oyster Egg

I like the noodles & the Dong Gui herbal taste soup, but the Fried Oyster is abit sweet. Next, there are also some “Weird Weird” foods around here, but i can say there are more variety you can choose or have it all I was very curious about the locals having their foods by walking on the streets, although it was so damn packed & squeeze. The foods taste average & the price is cheap too! i might say most of the goods sold here are not to expensive, yes you can still bargain with them! Muahaha~

Bloody Cake (Dare to try?)

Satay (Oh?! Apa ini?)

Local Sausage

Cheessy Shrimps

There are too many foods stall and many variety, can’t have it all in once. So in the end, i pick this one:

Jesse & The Cheessy Shrimps

When it comes to listing the famous night markets in Taiwan, the Feng Chia night market in Taichung would definitely rank as one of the largest. The market spreads over a wide area along the Wunhua Road, FuXing Road and Feng Chia Road. Rows of shops line along the main road and the side streets in a dense network of restaurants, vendor stalls, cafes and chain stores. Being located near the Feng Chia University and the Chinese institute of Technology, the market is ever bustling with the university students, for whom the market is a haven for hanging out and window shopping.

The Feng Chia Night Market starts buzzing in the evening, and the thickness of its crowd increases by the hour. In fact, around thirty to forty thousand shoppers come here everyday, and the number actually doubles on the weekends and holidays. The market hosts a varied crowd that includes a strange mixture of tourists, students, elderly housewives or even local ruffians.

The Heavy Traffic

And also the Human Traffic

You will find your selection LOL

The Famous Chicken Chop (But very Long Q man!)

Late night still the same

In the late night, the night market is still crowded. Many shops are still in business hour, i heard the local said they usually closed on 1am or 2am. I had a wonderful experience their night market, compared to our local longest night market Taman Connaught, is just a small part of it! Believe me
This is the hotel we stay in Tai Chung, Champs Hotel. We need to stay here for 1 night, next day will be going to Qing Jing Highland! Yahoo~~~

I was travelling to Taiwan on last week since the Raya holiday started, away from Malaysia for 10days. I can only said one word to my trip: SYOKNYA~~~

Luckily Jesse able to guide me all day long on the trip, special thanks for her arrangement & i’m really proud to be there with her.

Many places we had went & left some places which we couldnt make it due to lag of time, but i will replace it soon on December this year for my second visit to Taiwan I like the night market over there, each of the town had night market, is business daily & very huge coverage too. Of course i won’t forgotten the beautiful scenery of some mountains & beaches.

There always some “unforgetable” memories during our travels or journeys, i had a very unique one to share with you all.

1)

The most pain & gatal things i had travel in my life is this, kena bitten by a local small freaking mosquito! I got it during having lunch at nearby the Taroko, Hua Lian restaurant. I couldn’t seen it flying or landing on my legs, but do feel very gatal & some cherry red marks appeared seconds by seconds. I told my tour guide about this, then he said this is the famous local mosquito bite. It is small, hard to see it through eyes, is very strong too the poison they left to me!!!

Back to hotel, i found out this piece of MEMO. Saying the bite of this mosquito will leave the spots for over 10 days! Yeah~ is correct. The Red Cherry spot is still with me now, believe it or not?

2)

I had been travelling with buses, taxi, train & also with my leg too! Started from Taipei -> Tai Chong -> Qing Jing -> Re Yue Tang Lake -> Taipei -> Hual Lian -> Taipei. But didn’t had a visit to the South sites. It was not a good move while you were tarik your huge luggage sounds like “kik kok kik kok” on the streets to your hotel or destinations. But this also makes me feels more like travelling, not too bad at all. Especially on the last day i need to check in to airport early on the morning 6am, wake up on 4:30am then “kik kok kik kok” all the way to the bus station within 20mins.

3)

Lastly is i do collect back some of the hotel instant Coffee & tea Bags, not to say curi lar! I found out their local instant coffee was not too sweet, taste good too. Along the trip or days in Taiwan, every meal serve with Tea only. The people there are more likely to have tea rather than some carbonite drinks. I do like their bubble milk tea as well, you can tell them to put less sugar.

Ok, more pictures will be served sooner. I was quite busy in office after the long holidays, hope i can gain more extra time to arrange my photos.

Your Wishes
