Here is the swap I did for tomorrow's meeting. I used Mixed Bunch and the Blossom punch that goes with it. Both can be found on page 17 of the Occasions Mini.

I cased this card from Stampin' Connections. It may vary a bit but basically that is where I got it from. I used Real Red as a base and layered it with Whisper White. I stamped the images from Mixed Bunch in Peach Parfait, Pacific Point and Real Red. I stamped one of the images in Real Red and punched it out. I added one of the Pacific Point images and a pearl to finish it off. The other flowers were punched out of the Patterns Designer Series Paper Stacks. All were adhered using dimensionals. The Wish Big is from Short and Sweet and was punched out using an oval punch.

Hope all of you enjoy something "Fat" today. Thanks for stopping by.

I've been busy working on the Scrap-a-thon! There is still time to register. Everything is coming along nicely and it will be a fabulous day and on top of all that we are raising money for the Leukema and Lymphoma Society! (LLS) Let me know if you need a registraiton form!

Lots still going on. Sale-a-bration is in full swing and you still can download My Digital Studio for a free trial. And next week we have another stack class! Yesterday five Girl Scouts and two leaders came here to make 6 cards. All the money was donated to the LLS. Everyone had a great time.

I have a meeting on Wednesday night with my upline and we will be having a swap so I know I will have some great cards to share with you all. I'll post the one I made tomorrow.

Here is one of the birthday cards I made for today.

I also featured this card in January's stack class. It was inspired by Sandy Hancock. The base is Pear Pizzazz followed by Basic Black. The DSP is from the 2012-2012 In Color Patterns DSP. Next we have more Pear Pizzazz then Whisper White. The penguin was made using the Owl punch. His ears were cut off and a hat was added using the Petite Pennants Builder punch. The arms were made using the Heart to Heart punch. The heart was cut in half to create the arms. The balloons were made using the 1/2" circle punch. I added a piece of the Pear Pizzazz 1/2" Stitched-Poly Ribbon. I thought he turned out so darn cute.

We will be making this card again on Sunday when the Girl Scouts come here to do cards as part of our ongoing Leukemia & Lymphoma Society fund raiser. Our Scrap-a-thon for LLS will be held March 24th. If you would like more information on that, let me know.

There is still time to download MDS Free. You can play with it for a couple of weeks yet to see how you like it. Give it a try even if you have never considered doing anything digitally. It's fun and it's free right now so what better way to try it out and see if it is for you.

Thanks for stopping by.

It's the weekend and I wanted to remind you of a couple of things. Sale-a-bration is still going on. Purchase $50 and receive an item from the Sale-a-bration mini absolutely free! Also you still have time to get your FREE download of My Digital Studio to try it out. Some of you may think it isn't for you but it won't cost you anything to play with it for a while. You might be surprised at how much you can actually do with it. If you have any questions, give a shout.

I am off for a retreat this weekend. I am really looking forward to it. So no stamping, texting, TV or computers until Sunday night!

Before I leave today I wanted to share another of the cards we made at the last stack class.

I believe I cased this from Dawn Olchefske. I had to do three slightly different ones as I didn't have enough of the same brads to do them all a like. The DSP and brads are from the Sale-a-bration mini. As you know you can choose either one of these FREE with a $50 purchase. The DSP is Everyday Enchantment. The butterflies were die cut using the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz die. All the ribbon is from the 1/2" Stitched Poly Ribbon collection. The DSP was punched out using the Postage Stamp punch.

I used Calypso Coral, Peach Parfait and Poppy Parade for the base of the various cards. Two of them used Lucky Limeade for the next layer and one used Pool Party. The top layer was Very Vanilla on all three. The Happy Birthday came from another set you can earn FREE with a $50 purchase - Elementary Elegance. (The same set I used in the previous card.)

Hope all of you enjoy the weekend. Remember to do something just for YOU!

Am I the only one thinking this month is flying by. We had a dusting of snow last night but today it is in the 40's. Maybe for once we will get through February without a ton of snow. Now wouldn't that be wonderful. Although with all the colds and coughs going around maybe a good cold snap would kill off the germs.

Here is one of the cards we did at our last stack class.

This card was inspired by some note cards I saw on Patty Bennett's blog. I wanted to make them full cards. So to do that I layered Bashful Blue onto Bashful Blue which was 4 1/4 x 11. On the layer I embossed using the Framed Tulips embossing folder. I stamped the Frame from Elementary Elegance in Versa Mark and embossed using white embossing powder. I then stamped Hello from that same set in Real Red and the small Butterfly in Bashful Blue on Whisper White. I used the Curly Label punch to punch it out and then added a small pearl on the Butterfly and a small piece of 3/8" Lucky Limeade Ruffled Ribbon to the back. I attached it to the card using dimensionals. It's a simple card but I really liked how it turned out.

The Stamp set Elementary Elegance can be yours FREE with a $50 order until March 31st.

On Saturday I got together with some friends that I have had for at least 30 years. It was great seeing them. I made these for the ladies.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

It's Monday once again. Enjoy your week and so something fun just for you.

As promised yesterday here is the other altered page protector I made. Again I learned this from Sherrill Graff of LNS. This one uses a 12 x 12, 8 1/2 x 11 and a 6 x 6.

These are really fun to make and use. As you see you can put even more pictures of one particular subject together in the scrapbook. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Have a wonderful day!
