Dames & Dice interviewed Cat Tobin, co-owner and manager of Pelgrane Press. Playing in various RPGs since her college days, Cat has seen a lot of different and unique games and people in the gaming world. She brings an insight to the world of gaming and writing and sees a potential in roleplaying games that is unlike many other art forms. Listen in on the conversation!

RuneQuest Glorantha. It is the one-year anniversary of the start of an RQG game, so Becca, Beth, and JM take some time to discuss it. They talk about how RuneQuest was started, their favorite aspects, and even the parts that keep them up at night. Boo.

Becca is joined by Beth and Li as they talk about character creation. Sometimes, the character comes together in the moment of creation and other times it takes several sessions to find out how a character ticks. Either way, each character holds a piece of the player that brings them to life.

Becca talks with her friends about the impact gaming has had on their lives and how they have seen it change in the years they have been playing. Whether it is reaching out to people beyond their normal lives or using gaming to work out real-life frustrations, they are all grateful for TTRPGs and the friends they have made along the way.

Becca’s mom joins her on the show to discuss what gaming was like for her back in the ’70s, and how that contrasts with what it’s like today.
